I had flowers delivered from here and was really impressed with the quality! I believe the sender ordered through Teleflora. The arrangement included water lilies and baby roses and sat on top of a wet styrofoam. I hope this keeps the flowers longer! The flowers were all really fresh and bright. I just pick d up a small corsage for my 5 year old Granddaughter Graduation from pre school Unfortunately, I paid in advance, something I never do. The corsage was 3 tiny roses, with ribbon, certainly not worth $40 dollars !! Had I not pre paid, I would have told them to keep it I got home and called Christy Florist in East Brunswick where I live and they quoted me $20 dollars I'm not opposed to $40 dollars for quality work, especially for my Granddaughter, I am opposed to being ripped off !! read more

I'm not particularly happy now after just picking up the emerald corsage we ordered. The ribbon is not the one we ordered. When I called I was told that the one we wanted was discontinued and therefore they used another one instead. It would have been nice to be notified of this change instead of finding it out after I got home with the corsage. read more

Received my favorite, purple tulips, for Mother's Day. They are beautiful. They were all closed and it was a day or two before they opened. The only complaint is that they should have been in a taller vase because they all fell over the side of the vase so I had to put them in a taller vase. But they are still absolutely beautiful. This is about the 5th or more times I have received flowers from the Whiting Florist and let me tell you, they are the best that I have ever experienced in the State of New Jersey! Their flowers are always very fresh and not only look like they were just picked, but I know they will last for a week or more. DISAPPOINTED!! My parents recently moved to Jersey and I was unfamiliar with any florist shops in the area. I wanted to send my mother a bouquet of flowers for her birthday. With the good reviews I thought this place would live up to my NY standards. I spoke with Amy who was very nice and we agreed to a $45 bouquet as she said "tightly" made with no vase. Unfortunately that is not what was delivered. (I posted the pic) I called Amy immediately who informed me that she would pick up my original delivery and provide me with something better. The second delivery was better but it was still not worth $58 ( tax and delivery). A few roses, few gerber daisies and some fillers is about $15 in Brooklyn. I give two stars for friendly service but the pictures on the website are a complete exaggeration of the real thing. So so disappointed. Lesson learned there is no place like New York for quality. Next time I will have ti buy flowers in Brooklyn and bring them to Jersey it will be cheaper and way nicer. read more

Very disappointed, these flowers are half way wilted and starting to show discoloration. The girl asked me how long would it be before the flowers would be in water so she could place the flower stems into little vials to keep the flowers fresher longer (not that it would make a difference to these leftover batch of flowers that are dying anyway). I wish I hadn't buy them but I was desperate and I thought by waiting to get them last minute could guarantee the freshness of the flowers. The girl skimped on the vials and missed 2 of the rose stems. But these roses are the absolute worst and no mother deserves flowers like these. How dare you even sell these flowers and charge $65 for a stupid bouquet like that. All the fresh baby breaths in the world are not gonna save this bouquet. Not coming back to this place ever again! read more

I needed a bouquet of flowers to bring to a dinner the other night. I was running late, and found this place located just a couple miles from my dinner. I got there less than 30 minutes before closing. I told the girl behind the counter I needed a bouquet. When asked what type, I told her my price range and added that I needed something pretty and FAST! The young girl was fairly detail oriented, but most definitely the complete opposite of fast... she carefully arranged and wrapped a bouquet. They looked good with a quick glance, but when I got to my destination five minutes later, I noticed that a couple of the flowers were a little wilted. read more

Listen... This place is legit. I ordered a bouquet for Mother's Day from across the country, and the delivery was right on schedule and my mother was very grateful. When she sent a photo of what was sent, I will admit it was different from what I ordered online. Let me tell you that Amy & co. offered and whipped up a replacement bouquet and hand delivered them to my parents at their weekly restaurant spot. Score one for the home team. They make decent arrangements....the usual. Definitely nothing different than your standard round. Emailed a photo of what I wanted, spoke to the owner and got nothing like it. The photo was never shown to the person who made the arrangement. On a second try, not a lot better and I have never had a florist who erred, deliver a new arrangement and demand the old one back. The level of customer service is unparalleled and I appreciate confirmation calls and emails when arrangements have been delivered. I also have been able to leave instructions for the delivery person: i.e. to please wait after ringing the bell because my mother was using a walker, or now that she's in a wheelchair, to please wait for her or her aide. So completely happy with my phone order from Sweet William & Thyme. I live in California and ordered Mother's Day Flowers for my Grandmother in Jameburg. (Yellow roses are her favorite). The staff were helpful and friendly when I called, and even called to let me know that the flowers had been delivered. My grandmother kept telling me that she couldn't get over how beautiful the roses were. I had them delivered on Friday and she said that on Sunday the roses were still fresh and blooming and getting prettier by the minute. You made my grandmother happy, which means all the world to me. I ordered an arrangement with a base price of $47.95. After taxes and delivery, the total was just over $60--reasonable for a nice arrangement and same day delivery plus the level of customer service I got.
