Just as a backstory, my husband and I live in San Diego and got married in Charleston. I work 40 hours a week and am on-call an additional 40 some weeks. My demanding work schedule made calling vendors hard, and then when you add the time difference from east to west coast-- impossible. After some google searching, I found Sweet Peach Planning. I think their familiarity of working on both the east and west coast made me confident they'll be able to work with my schedule, and it did. We decided on a modified full planning package offered by Sweet Peach Planning and it exceeded every expectation of mine. Megan had great organizational skills. She brought many different contracts and other paperwork to our zoom meetings that were relevant to each topic of discussion. This made me feel present in the planning process even from 2,500 miles away and being unable to see things in person. Everything was thoroughly explained so I was informed of all the small but important details of my wedding day. Megan knows Charleston well, so she was able to find the most perfect vendors for our wedding theme/vision including rentals, a florist, hair & make up, and a cake. She printed out our signage and also made different personal touches, like a hand written mirror and our cake topper. Megan is friendly and easy to talk to. I always felt comfortable expressing my opinion to her even if it was something I wanted to change or didn't like. She was a very calming presence and I never once felt overwhelmed with the wedding planning process. She made sure we stayed on track with my timeline the entire day, which was super helpful since it felt like time was moving so fast that day. During my wedding ceremony and reception, the team made sure everything ran so smoothly. Madison was a great help all day/night. She was able to generously run to the pharmacy for me and also kept my phone and personal belongings safe. She took some candid photos on my phone so I had immediate memories of the night, which are some of my favorite pictures to this day. There were two additional associates who helped set up the venue and organize group photos, which were fabulous. A bunch of my guests even told me they never saw such a well organized event! Thank you so much Megan and Sweet Pleach Planning! read more

If I could go back in time and give one recommendation to my partner and I about wedding planning - it would be to have hired Sweet Peach Planning for full planning services early in the process. Megan was the absolute essential ingredient to making this wedding happen and be the most beautiful day we could have imagined. First and foremost - we knew we loved Megan right away from how honest she was with us. When we booked her, we wanted to hand everything off to her as a planner. She explained we were so far along in the process and had booked so many of the main vendors that she wouldn't want us to waste our money - but she'd recommend her coordination services instead. Megan went above and beyond everything I expected to have in a coordinator. She helped us with decisions, brought up questions for us to ask or suggestions to tell vendors about things we would have never thought about. She was available whenever we needed and even joined us for a few vendor meetings to ensure everything went smoothly. She even offered many of her own decor items (table numbers, windows, and candles). It is very obvious that Megan has tons of experience. Our photographer and venue both commented about how great working with Megan was and how she is so organized and experienced - so it isn't only on the client side, but the vendors she works with that also see how amazing she is. Very last minute we decided to book a videographer. We sent his website to Megan, who raised some concerns about something feeling off about the website and she explained it felt like a scam. Like dummies, we booked them anyways... only to get scammed because this videographer wasn't real. It all turned out okay (we got our money back, etc) and Megan handled it all beautifully. But, at the end of it - we wished we would have just listened to Megan's gut! She really knows her stuff and has a great ability to spot a good vendor vs. a fake one :) The day of - Megan was a rockstar. She directed family members, vendors, the bridal party, and anyone that had questions - all with a smile on her face. She was such a calming presence and we were so relaxed knowing Megan had it under control. We are so incredibly thankful for Megan and her Sweet Peach Planning team and honestly could not have pulled this wedding off without her. read more

Where do I start?? Megan was a lifesaver... I'll start there. Megan did such a great job keeping our wedding together when everything started falling apart (due to COVID-19)! She worked tirelessly to help us rearrange the event last minute and kept us calm and confident throughout the process. Our wedding day was, hands down, the most beautiful setup, flawlessly executed! We loved having her on our team for the biggest (and best) day of our lives! So helpful, so solid! Use Sweet Peach Planning, you won't regret it. read more

Short version: Megan was the best wedding planner ever, hiring her was the best choice we made, everything turned out amazing, and I don't know how we would have done anything without her. Long version: To paint a picture of why Megan was so amazing, I first need to explain the type of wedding that we had. First of all, we got married in Joshua Tree at a venue that was completely outdoors, exposed to all of the desert elements, and pretty much a bare bones property beyond that. Due to the venue being more limited, we needed to hire every single vendor independently and bring in all of our own decorations and supplies. We had events on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday with 130+ guests at each event. To spell that out for you- we gave Megan A LOT of work. And she. freaking. rocked. it. The entire weekend was flawless. My husband and I had a vision that our wedding weekend would feel like summer camp, where all of our guests would come into our world for the weekend, make connections with new people, and leave feeling happy and inspired. You might be thinking that is an oddly specific vision. And it is. But Megan totally accomplished that for us. She worked tirelessly to connect us vendors that fit our vibe and budget. She was straightforward and real with every step of the process, helping us to manage our expectations, stay focused on tasks, and have fun along the way! She was on top of tasks, responsive to our questions/texts/emails, and honestly just a really cool person! On the actual wedding day, I felt so relaxed and supported. I felt like I could just enjoy the day and fully trusted that Megan would to take care of whatever challenges arose. As for the guests- I'm not kidding when I say that we had multiple guests texting us for several weeks after telling us they couldn't stop thinking of our wedding and how amazing it was. We owe it all to Megan. If you need an event planner, look no further! read more

I can't thank Megan enough for her help bringing me and my husbands vision to life. A true joy to work with, great connections with other vendors, positive and pleasant and truly working in the interest of her couples. I found her on Instagram, which immediately made me nervous since I'm kind of tradition in that sense. But when I initially called her she was so upbeat and pleasant and when my husband and I went to meet her the first time it seem like a no brainer. She just got us! New to wedding planning obviously, I had no idea what to do and only a vague image of what I wanted, but Megan wasted no time in helping me shape the vision and bringing ideas of her own to the table without being pushy. She was also extremely patient and accommodating as things came up and my schedule changed. But the one thing I will always remember is how she had my back when a vendor she'd originally recommended to me treated me horribly when I went in to make a few adjustments without her there. Not only did we cancel our order, but Megan also followed up with a personal message to the owner to support me and admonish them for their poor customer service. I knew in that moment that she was my kind of girl. Our wedding day was perfect thanks to her, every detail executed to perfection. I can honestly say that my wedding was like a fairytale and I got to enjoy every single moment of it thanks to Megan and her team. My friends and family are still gushing about how awesome the day was and Megan gets a great majority of the credit. I couldn't have asked for a better planner and venue (Carondelet House). Megan helped make my dreams come true and I'm forever grateful!! Photo credit: Eve Rox Photography read more

This is long overdue...our wedding was this past October and it could not have been more perfect. I knew I wanted a planner from the beginning, but wasn't sure we would find someone that got what we were going for. Then we had a consult with Megan and she completely got our creepy romantic vibe. She had such great ideas and was totally into the process making it that more exciting for us, we couldn't wait. On the day Megan and her team at Sweet Peach were so professional, fun, and got the damn thing done!!!! If you're on the fence of hiring a planner don't be, this is one expense that is totally worth it. My only advise is to hire Sweet Peach Planning sooner than later. Know your budget and Megan will make it work. xoxox read more

I am so happy to have met Megan at a bridal expo at the Hyatt Regency in Newport Beach. It was the place for my wedding venue on July 2016. I was attracted by her chic and vintage booth before exiting the expo. Megan was so friendly when she approached me and offered a 50% off discount that day if I booked her as our wedding coordinator. She was really generous to have extended that promotion until the next day so that my then fiance, now husband, was able to have a sit down meeting all together. She was also kind enough to driven from long beach to north OC to meet us. The meeting confirmed that we had to book her that evening! Megan is very personable and extremely organized. She is on top of all the forms needed to put together a binder for each of her clients. This allowed her to help us confirm with vendors final details weeks before the wedding. I am a very organized person myself, but Megan made wedding planning less stressful and was a big help for me with my full time job. I also didn't even have to rely on the, "The Knot Ultimate Wedding Planner" binder. My husband and I were only able to hire Megan as the Day of Coordinator, but she ended up being like a part time planner. The week leading up to the wedding was reassuring with her guidance and how well she worked with the hotel's wedding specialist. We are beyond satisfied about how smooth our wedding went. She truly allowed us to be guests at our own wedding like we requested. It was the most fun and memorable time we've had at any wedding thus far!! I believe our wedding was the first asian american and largest wedding (~140 guests, small for asian standard) she planned in orange county at that time. Megan and her assistant did a fantastic job keeping us on schedule with a list of events we had planned: first dance, table greetings, photo booth pictures, line dance, group photo and sparkler exit from the outdoor reception into an indoor afterparty. Megan's enthusiasm, open mind and passion for the wedding industry are also top reasons why you should book her as your wedding planner. You will enjoy the email newsletter and events to attend that will help ease the wedding planning process. We are so grateful for Sweet Peach Planning and would highly recommend Megan to anyone looking for a wedding planner. I wish she was the first wedding vendor that I booked! read more

Where do I start... Megan and her team are the absolute best! I am so grateful for everything that she and her team did for us. I honestly would have been so lost without her. She went above and beyond and made our wedding so special. One of the most memorable things that I think she did for us was whisk us away for a few moments after our ceremony to just have a few moments to ourselves. We were able to process that we had just gotten married and that it was a special moment. Without her, we probably wouldn't have been to able to have this small moment to ourselves. Weddings can be crazy, wonderful and a whirlwind. Our wedding guests were equally impressed and had nothing but good things to say about Sweet Peach Planning. The coordinator I originally hired withdrew THREE WEEKS before the wedding. Fortunately that same morning, I was meeting with our photographer (David England, also highly recommended) who recommended Megan's team to me as our replacement coordinator. It turns out, the previous coordinator's quitting was a blessing in disguise! From the moment I met Megan, who was so very nice to agree to be our coordinator before even meeting us (thanks to David again), I knew I was all set for the wedding. She was very comprehensive and detailed and I knew we were both on the same page! They came very early on the wedding day, and were also the last ones to leave to pack up (which was so very nice) I am so very lucky and thankful that she and Erika became our coordinators! Our wedding was absolutely worry-free and even better than I imagined! I absolutely recommend the Sweet Peach Team -- you won't regret it! Thank you ladies!! read more

We really enjoy working with Megan! We've seen her in action on multiple occasions for wedding planning and she does a great job, both in staying organized and working along with the bride to create a beautiful personal vision of the wedding day. As photographers, we always appreciate it when couples hire a wedding planner to coordinate their once-in-a-lifetime day and Megan is the best! Not only does she help keep everything flowing smoothly, she's a big part of the reason brides can smile so easily during their portraits. I can't tell how how many times a picture-perfect moment has been ruined by the bride having to figure out last minute details instead of enjoying her wedding day. I would definitely recommend Megan to any bride who wants to have a beautiful, fun, stress-free wedding day. read more

Megan and her team were absolutely amazing. While looking for a day of coordinator, we asked our DJ, (DJ Tempoe), if he knew anyone, and he said he had a good friend named Megan who does an awesome job! We met/ phone interviewed with about 4 other coordinators and none can compare with Megan and her team. My husband and I immediately felt at ease the moment we sat down with her. We left that meeting and my husband immediately said "I have a great feeling about her, we need to hire her". During the week of, I had an issue with my florist. The florist had an emergency and wasn't sure if she was able to do my bouquets. In freak out mode, I called Megan and she sent me a quote from one of her florists THE SAME NIGHT. We didn't end up needing her florist since our florist was able to do it, but Megan jumped in and got us a quote right away! It really made me feel ease especially since we were in our final week before the wedding. During the day of, Megan did not disappoint. My wedding was fairly huge - almost 280 people with a huge bridal party - 22 bridesmaids and groomsmen, 10 sponsors, 4 flower girls, 2 coin/ring bearers. If that wasn't enough, I DIY'd all my floral, my husband built a custom archway, I had a sweet and salty table, custom stand with all my succulent giveaways on it, a Boba bar and signage that ALL needed to be set up. We got to the venue to take photos (approximately 2.5 hours before the wedding) and I have to admit I was a bit concerned when a lot of the decor wasn't set up yet. THAT DIDN'T MATTER because the moment I started to walk down the aisle, everything was exactly how I imagined it! We got to the reception area and everything was set up beautifully. Her team turned my vision into a reality. Sweet Peach is an absolute Treasure. Look no further.. you have found your planner :) Thank you Sweet Peach, for making our wedding dreams into a reality! Oh man, where do i even start! Short story is that booking Megan with Sweet Peach Planning was totally the key to having an amazing wedding. I got married last September and i cant even get over how smoothly everything went and what a great time everyone had. Long story... 1. Did i mention that i was NOT stressed, frazzled, overwhelmed, or a bit bridezilla throughout the whole year long process? That says SO MUCH about a wedding planner. 2. People at the wedding (and after) kept saying "Whoa, Megan is so on top of everything!" People really noticed that things went smoothly and she was like to the minute about everything. 3. We stuck with my budget. She was really creative in ways to save money, but we did spend in ways that counted a lot toward making it a great party. 4. She thought of everything! For example, we ended up hiring people for a few hundred bucks to set up before and clean up after. Trust me it was worth it and i would never have thought of that by myself, I would have been like half drunk wanting to go home while cleaning up in my wedding dress. She thinks of those things that make a huge difference. 5. We had a lot of fun in the six months or so it took to plan. I miss hanging out with Megan! 6. She was not afraid to tell me when my wacky ideas were not worth pursuing. I definitely needed someone to tell me to stick with my theme because I would have been all over the place, decor-wise, without Megan maintaining a focus on what we originally wanted the wedding to look like. I loved my wedding! I wish it were an annual occurrence. read more

We have so much appreciation and gratitude for Megan, owner of Sweet Peach Planning! We hired her for her day of coordination for our May 26th wedding. She brought up things that I wouldn't have even thought about on my own! Her creativity with helping us with our wedding decor was a home run. We could never have brought our ideas to life the way Megan did. Our wedding day ran flawlessly. Megan and her assistant did an amazing job and always made sure I was doing ok and kept everything running right on point .And When we saw the wedding decor all come together we were Blown away. It is with great honor that I write about this amazing wedding planner. My family and I had the privilege of working with this incredible human being for a year leading up to our wedding. She went beyond making our day beautiful. She became a friend to me, adored by my daughter, and respected by my husband. She was patient, listened to what we wanted, and truly made a day more magically then ever imagined. There is so much more emotion than you will ever know until the day of your wedding, but with Megan there, you can trust that everything will go as planned. We did not have much family help planning this wedding and, unfortunately, I have already lost my mother. But, with Megan there to hold your hand, a bit of that hole in your heart is filled with her passion. Extremely Disapointed. We met with megan last year in august. She was very nice and really sweet. We discussed our needs from her as a day of planner. She gave us a discounted quote since we wouldn't be needing her services for the ceremony, and that the reception venue would be setting up all tables, china, place settings, chairs, linen, etc and that I would be doing all the planning. Mainly needed her help with decor. As of November of last year my fiancé got injured at work and has been temporarily disabled and unable to work. This was a huge back fire on our plans for our wedding. To sum things up we were unable to meet with megan for months due to his condition, and I had explained to her our situation. She was understanding and said she would save our date until we were ready to give her the money. She mentioned that she preferred cash so we wanted to meet with her in person to give her the cash and sign the papers instead of doing it online. I had to reschedule twice due to our children being sick and my fiancée's situation. I've called her to set up a date to meet up and it's been difficult to get a hold of her. She finally gets back to us 3 days later saying that her team is too busy, and that she couldnt work with us due to rescheduling and that the quote she gave us is $800 less than most of her clients and that it wouldn't work out to continue working with us. This is extremely disappointing and really made things much harder for us. As a business owner myself you always think about your customers first and be understanding in their situations, if a quote is to small that you're unenthusiastic to help them then don't make such a quote and get their hopes up. I understand that rescheduling can make things a bit harder but that shouldn't stop you as a business owner to fail on your client. read more

We hired Sweet Peach Planning to do full wedding coordination, and wowie, are we glad we did! Megan exudes charm, efficiency, capability, and oodles of creativity. I mean, we described our wedding vibe as "swamp witch speakeasy," and Megan didn't bat an eye. She ran with the idea and came up with so many nuanced touches that entirely captured our vision. Megan was also very attentive to detail, which was much appreciated when it came to budget. We stayed precisely within our initially communicated price range thanks to her and her vendor relationships. I also felt like when Megan presented vendor options, she captured the full range of choices and always made us feel supported in our decisions, even if we didn't choose her primary recommendation. The day of the wedding went so smoothly because of Megan and her team. Megan helped me plan my wedding last month (October,2020) and I couldn't have done it without her! I got in contact with Megan ONLY a month and half before our wedding and she helped me pull my wedding together. With all of the uncertainty that COVID has brought, I was completely lost. Not only does Megan have the experience and expertise, but she also had all the connections to vendors that really helped move things along. I felt very informed and secure the entire way. Her attention to detail is unmatched. She was very honest on where we could save money and what was worth the splurge. Megan even helped me on all the small details like my "save the dates" and invitations. The day of went so smoothly and I was really able to focus getting ready and taking photos. Her assistants were very efficient when working with my photographer and I was able to take all of the family photos that I will cherish forever. I was really impressed with how easily she was able to keep us on schedule. The DJ that Megan referred to us(DJ Tempoe) was a total hit! My whole family was on the dance floor the entire night. At the end of the night my husband and I came back to our hotel room and to our surprise it was decorated with all of our flowers from the reception and tea lights all over! Such a sweet surprise! My now husband, Mike, and I began working with Megan and her team in June 2019 for our June 2020 wedding. When we met her in person for our initial consultation meeting, what stood out about Megan was her amazing attention to detail. Normally you come in with questions for your prospective vendor, but Megan had just as many questions for us and showed a genuine interest in creating a beautiful day for us. She was already asking us things we hadn't even thought of and suggesting things we would have never even envisioned for ourselves. I didn't feel this connection from any of the other planners we met with and knew right from the start Megan and her team would be a perfect match for us. Fast forward to March 2020. The pandemic hits. Our planning was relatively smooth sailing up to this point and we were actually ahead of schedule in our planning, but of course Mike and I were facing the dreaded question of, "Should we postpone?" This was uncharted territory for everyone involved. We had a conversation with Megan and she made us feel confident in our decision to postpone and even had some resources available for us to help us cope with the disappointment we were feeling. Most of all, she offered empathy and a listening ear which was more than we could have ever expected of her. We originally postponed to December 2020 with no problems from any of our vendors and decided to snooze on planning for a couple months. Before you know it, September was here. The pandemic situation was no different from when we postponed in April so again Mike and I were facing the question of, "What do we do?" Ultimately we decided to almost completely scrap our original plans. We reached out to Megan about re-planning our wedding as a microwedding. We did all this in the span of about two months which is normally unheard of in wedding planning land. There are no words that can express what Megan and her team did for us going forward. They truly went above and beyond and even that is a gross understatement. Megan helped us locate and book a brand new ceremony venue. From there we replanned everything around the new date and space. We were able to keep almost all of our original vendors which was a miracle. When I said Megan had great attention to detail, that statement could not be more accurate. She was constantly emailing and communicating with our vendors to create a flawless timeline and the most beautiful backdrop for our wedding day. She worked directly with our florist to select the most beautiful florals for our new space, something I had zero vision for but the end result was beyond my dreams. Even something as simple as our ceremony rehearsal was executed perfectly. Our family asked if Megan was a friend of ours because she was so easy going yet so on point with what we needed to do. That's truly what Megan became over the past 16 months. She was a professional yet someone who we grew very close to and even felt comfortable to vent to when things weren't going so great. She offered nothing but support. When the day came, we surprisingly didn't feel as much stress as we thought we would have going into it. Everyone knew where to be and what to do. No matter how much planning is done, you can never guarantee a perfect timeline, but we truly had a perfect day. Everything ran on schedule and no one was late. We were able to just be married and not stress at all. Though we did not get to have our original plans, those original plans are just a distant memory in our mind now. The new plans were even better than what we envisioned and was ultimately the day that Mike and I were meant to have. We are forever grateful to Megan and her team for the love and attention they put into our day. A special shout out to Adrienne who set up our dinner space in a separate location. Everything was so incredibly beautiful and it takes caring and amazing people to put that much love into someone else's wedding day. What they are doing is truly a labor of love and I highly recommend them to any couple who is considering or on the fence about wedding planning. She was able to go through her monthly timeline, estimate the amount of food and drinks, and able to fully write our wedding day and rehearsal dinner agenda within our first meeting with her. Talk about a breath of fresh air. We started off with the Gold Package and very soon after decided to go with the Platinum Package due to how much we were impressed with her and her work ethic. She literally took on so much without stepping on any of our toes. She was able to be patient while listening and at the same time direct and to the point. She communicated with us every step of the way. Our wedding turned out to be more than we could've ever dreamed possible and we absolutely could not have done it without Megan and the YLH staff. Getting to know Megan was truly a treat and I would highly recommend her to anyone and everyone. read more

We loved every minute of working with Megan of Sweet Peach Planning. We only used her on the day of our wedding but she made it a point to stay in contact throughout the planning process to see if I needed any help. Megan was super easy to work with every step of the way and come our wedding day everything ran smoothly and was just as we wanted it. Megan is amazing and I would recommend her to any one that wants a fun outgoing wedding planner that gets the job done! read more

Megan is amazing, talented and kind! She is understanding and a great planner! She will make your wedding dream come true!

My husband and I are one of those lucky couples who can truly say that they enjoyed every moment of their wedding. A huge part of that is thanks to Sweet Peach Planning. We hired Megan and her team as our day-of coordinator for our January 2019 wedding. We met with Megan multiple times prior to our wedding to iron out all the details. She was a patient listener, gave us great suggestions for our timeline, vendors and decor, and made us think of details and jobs to assign to our wedding party that hadn't even crossed our minds. Her input was key to our wedding day running smoothly. The day of the event, everything was set up how we envisioned and any little logistical hiccup was resolved efficiently. Megan and Ashley threw in a few little extra details that made our night even more special. Thank you to Sweet Peach Planning for contributing so much to our amazing wedding day; we would highly recommend them! read more

I met with Megan to find out more about her wedding and event planning services. She offers different packages for wedding coordination, including "week of" planning services. Megan is new to the industry so right now she's offering 50% off her services so she can build up her portfolio. But she's been planning events for awhile now, helping them run smoothly and efficiently. Megan also has experience with same-sex weddings and events. She's young and personable and easy to work with. I highly recommend her! She also writes about her wedding planning experience and the things she's learning about wedding planning in her blog, http://www.thebridalencyclopedia.com/. Check it out! read more

I had the pleasure of working with Megan on a wedding that she planned from beginning to end and I must say I have never worked with someone so organized! The wedding turned out wonderful, down to the very last detail and she did it all with a smile. It became very obvious that she LOVES what she does. Wedding planning seems to come so natural for her. You definitely won't go wrong with Sweet Peach Planning by your side! read more

LOVE THEM!!! I can not express enough how helpful and lovely Megan and her group of ladies are. They were so incredibly thorough and organized we didn't even have to think about needing something because it would already be taken care of. Need a band aid. Done. Need a drink. Already in your hand. Need to clean up the venue. Finished. The list goes on. They all have such a genuinely positive presence that they even made an impression on our wedding guests. Also they were so much fun to have around! We can't wait until we have another event to plan because they will be the first on our list to contact! read more

We just started working with Megan and wanted to provide some early very GREAT feedback and recommend her services. The wedding planning process can be very overwhelming but what Megan does is break everything into bite-size tasks, work through each item with you and make sure everything comes together in the way you envision. She is really helping us stay organized, keep on-schedule and budget but all while creating our dream wedding. We really enjoy working with her and are looking forward to continuing that work up to our big day. read more

The Sweet Peach Planning crew (Megan and her crew on this particular day, Erica and Jordan) were not only professional but phenomenally creative and organized! Super friendly faces, great attitudes (even while Megan was sick) and good spirits all around which made for a spectacular Sweet 16 for her client. It was such a sweet, age appropriate, and well supervised party. Megan meet this young lady's expectation and her parents seemed very pleased. As the house manager for the evening, there wasn't much I had to do that she and her team didn't take of. Great job Megan! I hope we get the chance to work together on another event soon! read more
