I was amazed at the grime they found under furniture. After that, it's simply maintenance, taking a bit over an hour for a two-story house. I particularly appreciate the flexibility. I was having a last second dinner party, and they worked to get the house clean. I also feel comfortable letting them in my house when I'm not home. There's no reason not to use Sunshine Maids.

I would strongly recommend choosing one of the other highly reputable competing cleaning companies…read morein the area - or at least not trusting Sunshine with an important job. I hired them for a move-in cleaning. We were on a tight timeframe and had just 2 days before we had to move in. Helen was very easy to communicate with, but that's where the positive experience ended. We weren't there when they came in to clean on a Tuesday. When we went in the following morning, it truly appeared as though nobody had come in. The kitchen was filthy, whole closets were skipped, windowsills ignored, just truly we questioned if maybe they hadn't come in at all. Helen agreed that it was not up to par so she sent the team back for Thursday. This really set back our moving plans and caused panic, but we didn't have much of a choice. My husband was there when the crew arrived on Thursday. They were rude, dismissive, and acted dismayed when he asked them to clean things - like the fridge!! Even though he pointed out all the areas we needed them to focus on, we came in with our moving truck on Friday, and while the kitchen looked a bit better (appliances still filthy) closets and windowsills were still skipped. Helen will probably respond and say "dust settles long after a house is cleaned." I am talking about actual filth skipped altogether identified within 24 hours of the supposed cleaning completion. She will also mention that I added a screened porch and garage the second day - I was under the impression that was covered from the beginning but in any event, my complaints have nothing to do with those rooms. For $840, days lost when we could have started moving things in, endless phone calls and stress/panic, I am deeply regretful for having take a chance on a sub-par company for such an important job. They don't seem to cover even the basics, let alone a deep clean. I still very much doubt they had even come the first day. Helen insists they did, but that really reflects poorly on them because of how dirty they left things. Clearly no standards or checklist to speak of. Stay away.

Highly Recommended: The Best Cleaning Service!…read more Karla and her team are simply the best. They have been cleaning our house for over three years, and before that, they cleaned my parents' home for more than five years. The quality of their work is consistently excellent. Every time they leave, our home feels completely refreshed. The floors are sparkling, the bathrooms are pristine, and the kitchen looks brand new. As parents of young kids, we especially appreciate that they go above and beyond by doing a bit of organizing for us, giving our home that "Marie Kondo" tidying-up feel. We always feel great after Karla and her team have been here. They not only make our home look fantastic but also help keep our life moving in other areas because of their exceptional work. Karla is an amazing communicator, always gracious, kind, and professional. We cannot recommend her and her team enough. If you want a reliable, thorough, and kind cleaning service, look no further.

I was only really expecting them to clean the floors, the kitchen, etc. but they went above and beyond! They cleaned the inside and outside of the windows, deep cleaned the floors, the kitchen and the bathrooms. What I needed cleaned was 2 bathrooms, kitchen and to dust and mop 3 small bedrooms. 2nd bathroom was untouched, window sills weren't wiped down, the only thing cleaned in the kitchen was the counter tops, and floors (when I specifically asked before I hired them if they'd wipe down all cabinets and shelves). I texted Janaina that I was unhappy with the service which she responded very unprofessionally, calling my home "disgusting", quoting scripture mixed with nonsense and (in short) told me I'm the devil and I'm going to hell. Only giving her 2 starts because she refunded me most of my money but only after calling ME a scammer!
