I was surprised at how good this museum was. This museum is free (!) to visit and is located in…read moredowntown Missoula, so you can easily walk to it when exploring Missoula. The women at the front desk gave me a rundown of the museum and the exhibits. They had three exhibits on display, and all three were by artists from of currently living in Montana. It is great to see an art museum embrace the art of its residents. The museum isn't that big, it takes 45 minutes to an hour to see, depending on how long you look at art.
