Dan coordinated with the marble company for the entertainment center and worked with the surround sound folks so the entire project was absolutely seamless. There were tons of moving pieces and Dan made sure everything went without a hitch. They have integrity, get things done when they say they will, and are absolute perfectionists. I wouldn't use anyone else but Dan at Pacific Milwork. By far the best experience I have had working with someone in Maui and he made it so easy on us, especially since we were off island. Valorie ABANDONED us at the near beginning of our project, causing many problems with the builder. Parts of her design, which we paid generously for, were unusable. She ordered (and we paid for) hardware that did not fit the space. When we returned it to her, she did not refund us. This was a highly unpleasant experience. Be warned.

We are once again using Sandra. She always gets our vibe, has great suggestions, and looks at where we're headed, tying everything together - we were focused on floors and window treatments and Sandra immediately tied in the dining room wall and kitchen remodel. I tend to be detail oriented but Sandra helps us (well, more me really) with the big picture. She remembered that about me from when we worked together the last time - bonus points. We not only love Sandra's professionalism, we also share the same sense of humor, style and advocacy; for me, you've got to be able to connect. I mean this is my home we're designing, that energy is being transferred into my living space! I'm excited about our new collaboration and hope with the current isolating and shutdowns that things will still move swiftly as it did the last time. However, I have peace knowing I couldn't ask for a better collaborator.
