This place is at an old church and they have their brewing equipment visible. They have a nice sized indoor area and a large outdoor area with lots of shade. The beer was good. They also had a great elderberry cider. Inside is a Latin fusion restaurant where we tried the ceviche, which is served with plantain chips. The bartender was nice and interactive and overall it is probably our favorite brewery in Florida so far.

Great little brewhouse in Ft Myers. Pleasant patio area to hang out and do a few beers. I enjoyed their Wildgrove blood orange IPA and their Peach cider as well. Parking on site but you had to do a little navigating to get into their parking. Well worth it. They do have food as well. Love the church refurbish setting. They have beer to take home as well.stop I. And say hi to Logan!

Really fun little brewery that's walkable from downtown. We shared a flight and tried four beers they had on tap, it was only $10. A few little food stands available. Cornhole in the back. Amazing landscaping. Friendly staff and quick service.

We were here for a Yelp event that I scheduled and we had a fabulous time. Lots of seating inside and out on a warm spring evening. Friendly service from the bartender who convinced Mom to have a mango cider that she enjoyed but she's a lightweight. I had their fabulous "Light Weight" American light and enjoyed it. Swamp Cat has three "permanent" kitchens so there's going to be something here for everyone. I had wings and a quesadilla from one and the other food that my friends had looked fabulous too. A great spot for a meetup or just to hang out. Five stars for Swamp Cat! [Review 405 of 2025 - 2050 in Florida - 23967 overall]

Cool brewery. Great service! Fun bartender- Jeremy. Nice patio area with 3 restaurants in cute little block booths. They had a great animal theme that I enjoyed. I tried their Lemon & Lavender Kombucha. It was very tasty. My husband got a flight of their craft beer and really enjoyed everything he tried. Awesome experience!

Finally checked out Ft Myers' newest brewery! Very cool space with plenty of outdoor seating available. Love the imdoor/outdoor bar concept! They had many beers options to choose from, including cider and wine for the non beer drinkers. Beertenders were friendly and generously offered samples of anything we wanted to try. Very convenient to have a couple food spots in the beer garden as well, which we will try next time!

Soft tacos with Korean fried chicken & egg rolls -- much different than what you'd get in a Chinese takeout. (Sorry for the crummy photo!)

I'm big enough to admit when my pre-conceived notions aren't accurate. T and I showed up at Swamp Cat solely to socialize. Super-Yelper Bruce K arranged an informal get-together; I thought we'd stay a half hour, then cut out -- mainly 'cause I don't like beer. Well -- Swamp Cat has wine! A couple of whites and some pretty good reds. My husband, who enjoys beer, thought their Pilsner was excellent. People at my table, some of whom ordered flights, were equally happy. I was also impressed with the food. Again, my pre-conceived notion was that it would be on par with a mediocre food truck. (Yeah, I don't like beer and I'm not crazy about food trucks.) Wrong, once again. When I saw what our group of Yelpers was eating, we decided to stay. Afterall, it was dinnertime. I wasn't paying much attention -- T handled everything -- but it appears dishes are made-to-order. There are three tiny establishments with their own menus on the premises. (Again, I paid little-to-no attention!) We shared non-Asian eggrolls based on others' recommendations. My favorite was soft tacos made with Korean fried chicken. We also ordered a Cuban sandwich which was fine, but likely not as good as the empanadas that we should have gotten instead. Buyer's remorse! Swamp Cat has a comfortable outdoor area with plenty of tables. Sometimes there's live music, sometimes trivia. If the weather is conducive and you have nothing to do, check 'em out. Again, this is the last place I thought I'd award five stars. But they deserve it.

Wonderful unofficial meetup with other Yelpers to try this new local brewery. We were pleasantly surprised by the outdoor seating on this lovely cool night. Dave ordered a flite of beer to try a few. I ordered our food from the three vendors on the property. I really enjoyed the salmon bowl I had from the middle vendor. It was grilled and served over basmati rice with slices of fresh avocado and onions. There was a creamy dill sauce on top. I also ordered an egg roll and empanada from the last vendor. They came in two's to share and were crispy and delicious. Along with the good company, food and drink - tonight was trivia night! We shall return to play. So we recommend that you try this new brewery with their friendly staff and yummy food!

We were finally able to come out and give swamp cat brew a try! They have a partially opened space that allows the breeze inside and a perfect outdoor area with plenty of seating! They share the space with other small businesses including Don't Give Up food truck! The burger was top notch and the fries were perfectly fried and seasoned. We had amazing service and enjoyed their pale ale, double IPA, and Oktoberfest beers. The live music was a nice touch! I would definitely recommend and will be back!

What a gem!!! Rotating beers in an ultra cool setting. Decent food via two separate entities that are housed in the courtyard area. Live music and dogs are welcome. Highly recommend

Many positive PLUSes. Community Ambience, libation options, in or out, pet friendly, service. The best way to spend an evening with friends. 10 beers on tap; room for 16; food stalls (3) with excellent food. A group of Yelp foodies decided to visit "the new business in town." We will return with more friends in the evening to enjoy the shaded brewery.

Good Beer, Try It I had heard about this brewery, just never made it there until today. Our GPS took us right to the corner where it's located, but we passed the parking access. As their website says, you enter their parking lot off of Hough St. It was easy enough to circle the block and get onto Hough. The owners redid this old church into a very comfortable brewery practically in downtown Ft. Myers that also has a large patio area. The brewery, merch sales and fridge with canned beers and soft drinks is at one end of the building. The other end has indoor seating and the bar/tap area that also opens to a sit at bar on the patio side. A small doorway off the patio is where food orders can be placed for their in-house kitchen. It happened to be Tuesday Special, all day, $5 pint drafts and Taco Tuesday special $11.99 for three tacos. We didn't order food, but I did try a few beers with at least 15 taps to choose from. I appreciated being able to sample before committing to buying a full pint and the taptender did a very good job of describing the beers when asked. I started with a Oatmeal Porter. Deliciously smooth and flavorful. I followed that with a Fluffy Mermaid Amber Ale that also was excellent. Cloudy like a weiss, a little hoppy and a nice citrusy flavor. I did taste a sample of the Cider Mill Donut cider that tastes like a cinnamon apple sugar donut. I'm not much of a sour or cider guy, but I think this would be a good choice on a nice hot day. Their website shows all the events that are going on there, with lots of live music and axe throwing. I think I saw a private party room. And the patio is pet friendly so grab Fido and stop in for a fine locally crafted brew.

There's 2 hours before you can check into your air b&b so you pull up your pub pass and see that you're 1/2 a block away from a place, so what the heck... let's go! That was one of the best vacation choices we've ever made. From the moment we walked in Shane had us on her radar. We found a spot at the bar and she immediately greeted us. She was amazing at helping us pick out the best things to drink. We tried one or two and landed on our favorites pretty quick. Shane was super knowledgeable about all of the beers when others would come in and ask questions about them as well. Then Shan arrived and it got real. She was also super knowledgeable about all of the beers on tap and the two got to tag teaming the bar like absolute pros! Conversations began and between the two of them we got a pretty amazing layout of the food scene in Ft. Myers and just like that, all of my carefully laid plans for meals for the next 3 days were turned on their head. In the end we all agreed that even though it was only 63 degrees in Ft. Myers it was still better than freezing to death in all of our home states. We finished our drinks and said farewell with sad faces but happy that we had gone off of our rails and tried this place on a whim. Thank you ladies, for helping us kick off our vacation in only the best way possible! This is definitely an experience we will be talking about for years to come!

Thankfully they have brought in many from other breweries which is the only be I find myself enjoying when I do go, along with having cocktails and seltzers, bc their beer, not so much and I love me some breweries!! I get reined in by the idea of fun events, but every event ends up being so underwhelming. They make events sound fun(decent posts/marketing), I'll give them that, but when you walk in, you are like ohhh, this is it? Very minimal decorating. TV's are not adjusted to the theme of the night, music still regular music. We stopped in last year and gave it one more shot this year for Mardi Gras, TV's are playing what looks like a highway and no NOLA jazz, blues music or anything to make you feel like it is carnival season. No live music! It was just another night and throw on some beads and they claim it's a party. They used to have the CBD section but now that is gone. Pool table and all big games around the brewery were gone. Just a huge black curtain running the back of the brewery now and hiding the brew tanks. Few small games way in the corner that you don't even realize are there.. that we found a walking out. Food trucks, they advertise what food there will be, but the food trucks are not selling half of what they say will be served. Every event is like that. They still have their main menu with like 1 item geared towards an event and sadly most of the time the taste is eh. If these trucks are going to serve something, they need to know what they are making. I Best thing about the place is the service! The girls behind the bar are awesome. They work hard.

We sat on the patio, which is nicely shaded. The seats were plenty big for us, however the 'butt space' on each is somewhat limited. Chairs were very lightweight. There are long tables, smaller circular ones, and a Bar inside. We pulled up the online ordering platform from the QR code. My phone was being a bit slow, but I didn't know the restaurants Wi-Fi password to try that, so after a few tries we did get connected on cellular. Ordering is fairly easy and straightforward. Beer came out in a few minutes and food took about 10. When the server delivered the food I asked for a glass of water and after seeing her in and out a few times over 5 minutes, I just went into the bar and got it myself. Food was good. My wife got the Turkey BLTA and a side of coleslaw ($1.50 up charge). The sandwich was very good, with tender and tasty turkey and nicely smoked bacon. I got the Grouper PoBoy and the chips, which are the only side that doesn't require an up charge. The fish was very good and the sandwich sauce and pickled veggies were a great blend of flavors. The chips have a slightly sweet taste. They were ok, but I'd probably try a different side if I went back. The bathrooms are through the restaurant and shared with some other businesses. The men's seemed ok, but my wife said the women's was a bit beat up. The restaurant is addressing it-see picture of the sign. Tip on the app defaults to 20%, and while I'm generally a good tipper, I did not tip that much due to the lack of service.
