Very friendly and accommodating staff. A little hard to see if coming from the Bandon side but you can't miss the bright yellow buildings no from the Port Orford side. Parking is all dirt and grass. That was the start of a steadily growing professional relationship and close personal friendship. I decided to take Dawn's Reiki level 1 last year and I am so glad I did. I've also suffered from enormous grief because both my beloved daughter and husband of 60 years have passed away. Dawn & I connected immediately and she introduced me to Reiki. At first I was skeptical, but after a few very relaxing and soothing sessions, I found that my pain issues lessened significantly! Some days, I feel little to no pain at all! Also, before having these sessions, I'd spent more time walking with a cane or walker bent over some. Now I can stand almost straight up and occasionally use my cane if I'm tired or feel unsteady. The heavy emotional depression from my family losses has eased significantly. Within a month, I noticed that I experience many more happier days than grief stricken ones. I feel so at ease with Dawn, she has such a gentle and sweet demeanor. She's extraordinary compassionate and even has a gift of throwing in some humor here in there, which feels so good to just giggle or laugh. When she gives me Reiki, I am so surprised that I'm able to doze off! I've also noticed that I have more energy and spunk, usually the day after the session. In January of 2017, I decided to take Dawn's Reiki level 1 class. This taught me how to give myself Reiki, which I really believe helps me to somewhat maintain a great deal of comfort and ability to move my body with more ease than prior to the first time I had a Reiki session. Now that I give myself Reiki, I'll make an appt. once every month or two. Before the Reiki class, I'd make an appt. with her 2-3 times/month. Dawn also adds a "Self Care" piece to her class which gives me extra "tools" I can use to care about my feelings for ME. I've ALWAYS over worked myself to do for others, which I do derive much love and satisfaction from. But there have been many times that even tho my worn out body and mind would say, "NO", my heart would say "YES" and off I'd go, even if I had a high level of pain! And many times it wasn't even an urgent need from someone, just my "disease to please" would take over!!! Many a time, this would wear me down and out even further. In Dawn's class, she has a unique way to introduce you to learning really easy and practical ways to not only care for your physical health, but also your emotional health, as well! She has given me my life back by helping me release the trauma, and she has taught me amazing everyday tools to protect myself from others who exude negativity. It is through my work with her that I have been able to create a new path both in my professional and personal life, which is already showing signs of success in abundance. My sincere gratitude goes to Jacquie. I wholeheartedly recommend opening up to the possibilities you never thought were there through working with her. My son suffered from an estranged relationship from his father, and the symptoms of his anxiety and attachment disorder were causing great difficulties in our family life and his academic life. While he seemed to making some improvement through therapy, there continued to be too many insurmountable challenges. When I gave Jacquie permission to work on him in several remote sessions, the doctor didn't recognize my son's behavior at the next visit and told me to keep doing whatever we were doing because he was so much easier to work with. Jacquie gave my son some everyday tools as well, so he can now calm himself in a stressful situation and protect himself from negative people around him. In just a few sessions, we have established a very peaceful environment in our home, and we can have constructive conversations. We would not be in the place we are now without Jaquie's help. When my mom and my dad visited us here in the United States, my mom fell terribly ill, and she and my dad ended up having to change their flight to go back home to Germany three weeks sooner than planned. Upon their return, she was immediately admitted to the hospital, where the doctors performed a number of examinations and found nothing. She was sent back home after about a week, only to find herself in an even worse state at home. The primary care physicians only suggested doing more labs and waiting to see. After being re-admitted to the hospital, she was sent home again after two days because nothing could be found. At home, the symptoms kept getting worse, and I suggested to my mom to try a session with Jacquie. After the first session, she felt that something had shifted in her attitude, distancing herself from negative people who had been causing her a lot of distress. The hospital staff continued with their examinations while she was in the hospital for about 2 weeks on her third stay. In two more remote sessions with Jacquie, her body started healing, and the symptoms were going away. After each session, my parents were told what would most likely happen next and how soon the symptoms would go away. Each time, Jacquie's prognosis was completely accurate - what she said would happen did happen! The medical exams never came back with a diagnosis, nor was a treatment plan established. My mom was sent home when the doctors saw that she was healing. She will be forever grateful to Jacquie for helping her release whatever needed to be released, so that she can enjoy her life again. Where conventional medicine completely failed and had no answers, Jacquie's amazing skills as a healer helped her overcome an extremely painful period of her life. Thank you, Jacquie!
