Flew into Gettysburg Airport. A shuttle van pick up our passengers as well as the crew. It is a 30 minute ride to the ranch. The 5,000 acre property borders the Missouri River. This place is truly first class for a golf/hunting ranch. The food is as good as it gets. The best was the bison filet mignon, absolute perfection. Copilot and I drove a golf cart around the property, rustled up a couple hundred pheasants. The rooms are high end standard, but the bed was one of the best I have ever slept on.
Ultimately, the staff from the general manager to the cleaning folks, customer service is their prime goal.
Granted, this place is a private club and our main passenger was there as a prospective member. If you love to golf and hunt and can afford the membership, this is a place you should consider. read more
