The young couple running the place are really friendly, welcoming and patient and will go the extra mile to explain the menu and how they cook the different dishes. We can feel how passionate they are about the food they cook. If sushi is not your thing we were really impressed by the flavors of the Pho and the mi-cha (sautéed noodles) was also outstanding and not greasy at all. In a nutshell, great tasting with high quality ingredients Japanese food in a low key setting but advanced planning is required or be ready to order take out.

The pieces were hardly half a size of a typical piece of sushi (which we've had all over US, Canada and Europe) and a lot of the fish smelled fishy. They counted one rolled up piece of fish as four pieces. If you look at the pictures, I think most would agree that does not look like 42€ worth of food nor 38 pieces of sashimi. I feel this may have happened to us being tourists, but we were super polite and our hotel concierge was very professional, so it's pretty sad they seemed to think they could rip off someone doing take out they knew were from out of town. I don't recommend them for that reason; that says a lot about the type of business being run.
