It made everything gummy and almost inedible, particularly combined with mediocre cuts of fish. I was hoping too that a pile of pickled ginger would help cleanse the palate, but it wasn't so good either. Disappointing all around, and I say that having gone into the dining experience with really low expectations.

Without being from Grenoble this would have helped us before we arrived. Our hotel was nowhere nearby and it was raining, so unfortunately we had to keep walking. It was too bad, as we were craving sushi and ended up having a sub-par meal a block away (not sushi). If you keep this in mind, though, and have a spot to eat then you should be good as the choices looked great!
