No more sausages and potatoes!), but unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. We ordered the Christmas tree special for the 2 of us and it came with lots of rolls, but most of them tasted mediocre. Some of the raw fish weren't even fresh. Also, the sauces didn't go well with the sushi. Maybe my standards are too high because I'm from California. It's sad to say that the sushi at our Japanese supermarkets are better than this. Service was a bit slow, but our waiter was very polite and friendly. If you're looking for a quality Japanese restaurant, this isn't the place to be.

The décor nice, casual enough for the price. We are on the patio because of the weather and Covid but inside looks really great also. The service was absolutely shocking. Bad, slow, rude so in reality I think management needs to pay attention but the cook's and all area's in the kitchen deserve 2 thumbs up. Will I go back? Maybe. Frankfurt has fabulous restaurants. Service is definitely very important to me. Make a reservation. Even in Covid the restaurant was packed and people were turned away.

I called to make sure they had table since we travelled with young children, but they were fully booked for the night. The person answered the phone sounded very nice over the phone so I decided to make reservation online for the next day, and I was glad I did. Overall, it was an excellent dining experience. The ambiance was fancy, definitely fit for a celebration/anniversary. I felt like we over ordered since we wanted to try many dishes here, but we didn't regret it. All the dishes were delicious. Service was okay. It could be better since it's pretty pricey here. Honestly, we were aware the dining service in Germany is different compared to the US so we didn't expect a top notch service. I would come back if I ever visited Frankfurt again.

It is a small place just around the corner of the Allianz building in Sachsenhausen, but easy enough to find. They offer a sushi buffet for lunch and dinner, but do a la carte sushi as well. So far we have been there twice for the lunch buffet and 10,90 € will get you a wide selection of sushi goodness. I love the variety they offer. They have all kinds of rolls, maki and nigiri with raw seafood, cooked tuna and veggies. There is something for everybody. In addition, they also offer a small warm buffet with miso soup, steamed rice, fried rice, noodles, curry chicken, spicy chicken, some kind of beef dish, and shrimps. 3 types of ice cream will satisfy your sweet tooth at the end of your meal. Their service is good too. Very friendly people serve your drinks within 5 minutes. You pay on your way out directly at the cash register which suits me just fine. (I hate to wait for the bill anyways.) In conclusion: If you can do without sashimi, this is the place to go for good sushi at a great price.
