I got a basic Menu 4, with some roe-covered California rolls and two nigiri; the fish was in that middle bland area, not tongue-bursting fresh and not old. Rice was fine, and not too gummy. OK if you're in the area, but maybe not worth much of a trip.

They offer lunch deal from 12:00 to 15:00 for 9,90 euro, also home delivery is possible. Great place to eat before catching your train or on the weekends. I like Sashimi staff a lot, they are hard working, very friendly and welcoming people. My personal choice - avocado maki, seaweed salad and white wine or white fuu tee

Really solid sushi in the train station!? Believe it…read more I met here for a lunch meeting after requesting my dining companion select something "near Hbf." He took it very seriously, finding this gem on Yelp right in the station! At first I was skeptical, but it's basically a pretty nice restaurant nestled in a bustling station, but with a sit down feel and freshly prepped sushi at the bar. I had the tuna sashimi salad with ginger dressing. Light and fantastic, really impressive. Time to kill before your train? Here's your spot. The sushi is fresh, the staff is sweet and you'll thank yourself for not scarfing *ANOTHER* sandwich.

Service is definitely nice and I felt that they were trying hard to make their customers happy. Unfortunately the sushi just wasn't great. I am always a bit concerned when sushi is bland as it makes me question the quality of fish. I am not concerned health-wise about the food here yet simply feel they aren't selling the best cuts. At the same time, as it's close to where I live, it's a good option for a quick, inexpensive lunch when craving sushi and I'll be back. Just don't set your expectations too high and you'll be fine with this place. There are a couple benches out front so you can also sit outside if the weather allows. Nothing high-end (park benches) but better than sitting inside where I find that the smellodd. Not prohibitively so but I'll set outside when I can.

Especially when we came in 30 minutes before close. He never rushed us. I got the California roll (it was rolled in sesame seeds which I've never had before and was very good). The cucumber and pumpkin rolls (never had pumpkin in sushi either but it's a new favorite!). We had to throw the whole thing in the bin since it was uneatable. The rice was disgusting and there was sauce allover so we couldn't tell what kind of sushi it was. Second big miss: big sushi pieces (lots of rice) but too little of the rest....you taste rice more than fish. Finally not really authentic Japanese. The folks there were super nice but I believe either Turkish or something else Middle Eastern. You could tell from the sushi pieces that this place was made for German palates where it's more about filling you up than delivering high end fish. Sure there is a crowd for this and they obviously like this place. If that's your thing, you'll be happy here. I believe the quality is OK and you could do worse. If you are into good sushi though, you may want to go up a class or two in sushi joint. It really is a totally different eating experience getting higher quality stuff. I don't eat sushi to get stuffed. I eat it for the quality and taste and you're just not going to get that at this place. Again super nice people and they do fulfill a very specific niche but this is not truly Japanese grade sushi.
