I contacted Susan when we got our pre-approval from our lender. Everything I read online said to get your own buyer's agent, and do not forego the home inspection. First-time homebuyer, so I researched EVERYTHING. We were house hunting when PG&E started the pre-emptive power outages to prevent wildfires. Susan met me with when no one had power on. We sat by the window and she listened to all of my requests, asking clarifying questions as we went. She asked questions about what's important to our family, what do the kids like, etc, and really wanted to know who we are so she could find us the best fit. Susan helped us through the entire process. I would drive by properties I thought we might like, and if the neighborhoods were ok and house looked decent, I'd ask her to set up a viewing. To start with, she came up with an excellent valuation of our property which indicated to us that she really appreciated its unique qualities.
