Rating 2.3 stars; rounded to 2. Here's my backdrop info if you haven't read any of my other reviews of psychics. In addition to being a scientific/engineering consultant, I'm a mystic, spiritual teacher/healer & intuitive. When I travel, I often get readings from psychics. I've received readings from 250+ psychics in my life. Since I'm a mystic, my life is filled with Divine love & grace, and my mind is calm & quiet; this makes it easy for a good psychic to read me, but a psychic with limited abilities won't see much b/c there are no dramas/crises/problems in my life that would emerge as blips on the psychic radar screen. Please note that when I visit a psychic, I'm not seeking help with problems, nor with any wishes, nor answers to questions, nor am I seeking spiritual guidance. Rather, I visit them because God asks me to do so, and to have a fun way of connecting w/ supernatural practitioners. Finally, I am very good at setting boundaries with people, including pushy salespeople & unethical psychics who may to con me or upsell me. So, when reading my reviews of psychics, it may be VERY HELPFUL to bear in mind what I wrote above, b/c your own experience with the same psychic might be very different from mine -- your mileage may vary (from mine)! Further, my reviews of all psychics are for psychic readings only, and never for extra services that they might offer, such as healings, cleansings, or spiritual guidance. I visited Susan for a tarot reading on 12/16; I prepaid the $150 fee online. As I always do when getting a reading, this was a totally cold reading: I told Susan, prior to the start of the reading, only my name and date/place of birth. I told her nothing more about myself until after the reading ended. Susan did ask me for 3 questions before the reading, but I declined. I also noted that I did not expect any future predictions (fortunetelling), because, beyond a few immutable events that are fixed in space and time, it is difficult to accurately forecast the future (because humans have free will). Overall, the reading was not at all accurate in terms of Susan's reportage of my life; as I told her several times during the reading when she asked for feedback, I felt that the reading was 95% inaccurate, with another 2% that was vaguely accurate but also misleading, wherein two things that she had presented as happening in the present had occurred 27 years ago. The few things that she managed to report accurately, although they were almost always somewhat vague, were that I seemed to be an old soul, that I seemed to be very healthy, that I would live a long life, that I have a very good and loving relationship with my wife, and that animals (which I love) are strongly attracted to the love that emanates from me. Susan also offered the observation that my tarot card spread contained an unusually large number of major arcana cards, and that the spread contained almost exclusively only very positive cards (and yes, that is an accurate meta-level snapshot overview of my life). She also briefly and very vaguely mentioned that one card indicated healing energy around me (which, while very non-specific, was accurate). Overall, she seemed to keep the reading at a very vague, generalized and philosophical level, never offering specifics or details about anything (in any case, as noted above, 95% of what she said was inaccurate). Incidentally, I must mention that strangely, Susan kept referencing my birth signs (in Western & Chinese astrology) to offer bland and generalized claims about me that were often inaccurate. Worse, these boring and uninvited philosophical ramblings about astrology were not from tarot, nor from any other supernatural sources. The reading at times became tediously annoying, because Susan often strayed into uninvited/unsolicited philosophical discourses about tarot, and it felt like she was attempting to turn the reading into an academic class on tarot, rather than giving me information about my life. This was NOT what I paid for! Even more strangely, she asked me three times if I would like to learn more about reading tarot cards or other cards so that I could do readings; each time I firmly declined. I later realized that these repeated and entirely uninvited/unsolicited overtures were sales pitches to try to interest me in purchasing her books/courses on reading cards. Incidentally, unlike many psychics, Susan did not attempt during the reading to push any upsells on me, beyond her multiple unsolicited attempts to interest me in lessons on reading tarot/angel cards, nor did she try any cons on me. I received a 1 hour Tarot reading with Susan Levitt at her home in San Francisco in June 2019. Her hospitality is impeccable and her home is elegant and relaxing. My intent for the reading was to get perspective on my new business. I recently changed career from employee to self employed, running my leadership coaching business. Susan pulled a spread of cards to look at different aspects of my business. She asked questions including: What was my position in the business. Was it in alignment with who I am becoming as a modern elder. Who are the people I can turn too for support. What about timing. What should I avoid doing. What actions should I take now vs. next year. How should I take care of myself. Who are my best clients, and what does this all amount to for me as a new business owner. These were a few of the many detailed questions I was able to gain perspective and actionable information from. Susan includes a digital recording of the session which is invaluable. I was able to enjoy the reading on another level long after I left her lovely home. Being a designer, I love looking at the pictures on the Rider pack and intuiting for myself the message they are sending. Seeing the array of cards tells such a wonderful story. Susan is a profoundly gifted practitioner. Her Tarot reading is powerful, direct, and supportive. After the session I sat in Delores Park and listed all the things I could take action on to grow myself and my business. I was referred to Susan well over a decade ago and I have been using her services and referring to her books ever since. I grew up in a metaphysical household so I began seeing all sorts of intuitives and astrologers in my pre-teens and no one has impressed me as much as Susan. She just did my yearly forecast for my 40th birthday and after all these years I am still blown away by her vast knowledge and keen ability to clearly explain the charts and aspects, as well as what and why to pay attention to certain things; and the best part is she tailors the reading to each individual so you won't get vague generalities from her. I have had several readings over the past few years and an astrological forecast with Susan and have always been impressed. I'm surprised to hear others' negative comments. It seems to me, some of these folks are more focused on delivery (which, of course, is subject to interpretation, raw emotions of audience, etc.) rather than content of Susan's message . As with everything, you simply can't please everyone. As for cursing, mean, cruel, cold, uncaring... I don't believe it even for a second. I've never encountered any behavior resembling anything close to any of these traits with Susan. My experience... Susan has been patient, takes time to explain each card and how it applies to my life experiences, and generously answers my questions. She has been "right on" time and again, offering invaluable insight, NOT fluff. I have used her guidance to navigate difficult situations and with her help, have overcome some big career and life-altering obstacles. On a few occasions, I have contacted her with need for immediate help and she responded quickly. Susan does not come across as a hand-holder catering to emotions but rather a well-versed intuitive professional, keen on sharing information that you will find most beneficial in your daily life. I've read the other reviews and I was surprised at the couple that said Susan is impatient. She's totally the opposite. She takes her time and makes sure that you understand everything that she is saying. She's quite positive and energetic. She records your readings and gives you plenty of time to take notes. I've had a couple of tarot readings and an astrology forecast done by her. Her tarot readings are very accurate and she gives helpful suggestions based on your reading. My astrological forecast included the traditional astrological approach and she incorporates the Chinese astrological chart also. I found this to be the most informative chart that I've every had done, and I've had many. As for the negative reviews, sometimes people don't like to hear the truth. Also, there are some people who want the reader to solve all of their problems too. She's interpreting, and doing so very well, not designing what the stars have in line for you. read more

Susan's feng shui expertise is amazing, she was able to help us declutter and put things where they belong. Putting the right art on the wall, like things with like and reminding us to keep the best and get rid of the rest!. Not easy to put into practice but we say that now every time we are thinking of buying something new, is this the best, do we want to bring it into the house. The most surprising part of the journey was how many broken body sculptures we had in the backyard, our own little cemetery. Susan is very accurate. That much I'll give her - in fact, 5 stars. However, she is incredibly impatient, thoughtless and cruel. She says horribly mean things, cuts you off if you're asking too many questions and has no tolerance for any emotion - God forbid you are upset or sad or nervous or worried, and worse yet, if you need her to clarify something further. She's downright cold and uncaring. It's a shame because I do think she has a gift. read more

I just had a tarot reading with Susan for New Year and I am very impressed. I've been to many card readers over the years but Susan is on a whole other level. Other readers were vague or told me new age nonsense about my aura and past lives, most of it just to flatter me. I don't want to be flattered. I want accurate and realistic information! And that is what I got from Susan. It is obvious that she is highly intelligent but still highly intuitive. And I'm telling all my friends to go to her.
