This is one of the centres in Toronto that provide information, education, and services for children with Development Disabilities and Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). They provide ABA and IBI services for ASD children up to 18 years old. The staff are very friendly.
There are free parent-training sessions when their children are registered for services.
There are many other departments located in this building including Augmentative Communication and Writing Aids (ACWA) Program.
There is a little snack shop called "Coffee Shed" that are staffed by people with ASD. When you come for a meeting, the receptionist gives you a coupon for a free small drink at this snack shop - a nice touch!
The waiting area is autism friendly.
For the in-house IBI services, there is a playground outside and one inside (when the weather is not good). read more
