I read the reviews and thought I'd picked a winner here. I'm happy to hear that others have had a good experience. Unfortunately mine has been very different. Different enough to warn you about. I had Fadhil give me a quote for a truck rack back in March. I had to drive all the way out to his shop in PoCo to drop off my deposit because he's not set up for credit/debit and doesn't do e-transfers. I said I needed it asap, because my busy season was coming up. I tried to get in for the fitting but it was put off. After nearly 3 weeks of not hearing back, I called them to find out what was going on. I didn't get a response so I called again. Still nothing. Then I emailed. Finally I got a reply. I was told the materials were on order and they'd let me know when they'd be ready for installation. By this time I'm getting busy at work and need that rack. Weeks go by and I hear nothing. By the time late June rolls around, I've had it. It's too busy at work to bring the truck in now. I ask for my money back. Again I have to contact them multiple times by phone and email over several weeks to follow up on getting my money back. After numerous delays, I was told they were just cutting the cheque, then that the cheque was in the mail. Well the cheque was in the mail for three weeks. The receptionist swore up and down that they mailed it when they said they did and that it was just taking a really long time to get to me. She even told me that they'd sent cheques to other companies that same day and they didn't arrive for two weeks! When I finally got my cheque, Fadhil had deducted $124.70 for materials and there was a Post-it Note saying to call before cashing the cheque. I called and was told not to cash the cheque until the next day or later so they could have the proper funds in the account. (Something you think you'd do before sending the cheque!) I followed instructions only to find out that the cheque had bounced and my bank had charged me $5 for the NSF. As this matter escalated, I repeatedly asked to be called back about things. I first asked the receptionist to call me back. This happened several times and not once did she do so even after I brought it to her attention that she kept saying she would return my calls but never did. After this happened a few times, I asked speak directly with Fadhil. The receptionist would say he'd call me back and then I repeatedly didn't hear back. Finally I insisted on getting his number to speak with him directly. After a lot of excuses, Fadhil's receptionist told me that she wasn't allowed to give me his phone number! I explained that the cheque had bounced and that this was getting into legal territory and I needed him to call me back for real. She promised up and down he'd call me back in two minutes, which she'd promised before. I got off the phone and, as usual, he never called me back. This whole episode has been very disappointing. It's also alarming because Fadhil has nearly $900 of mine and I can't get anyone from his company to contact me about this. As it stands now, I've had little choice but to file a small claims action since I haven't heard back about my deposit. The owner has simply ignored the claim so I am escalating the legal action. Obviously it was a huge mistake and a waste of a lot of time and energy going with Fadhil. I trusted him to come through based on the reviews posted here, but good reviews obviously don't guarantee that things like this won't happen. Don't make the same mistake I did. There are other companies to go to if you're wanting metal fabrication. I can't vouch for them but I can certainly warn you about Urban Metals. Run!

Our strata hired Premium Fencing to replace our aging wooden fence with a new vinyl one. However,…read moreat least for our area of the complex, the result didn't come out the way that is considered "Premium". The crews knocked down our old fence and dug holes for the new fence post. When they do that, they sometimes have to uproot and cut back plants. They also left large chunks of clay soil on the surface, with no effort to clean it up. The clay soil, especially when wet, meshes in with the ground when walked over. It also makes it harder for plants to sprout. It doesn't look pretty. They also ruined some wooden lawn separators and wooden planters in the process. Should have been more careful to respect people's belongings. Everything seems fine in regards to the fence itself until they put up the wrong coloured fence. It was supposed to be white but they seem to have ran out of white fencing and put up beige and blue ones instead. They should have ordered or made the correct fencing instead of filling it with the wrong colour and having to replace those if the strata come back to them. Another discouraging thing is how they cut the vinyl fencing into tiny pieces and left it there. Especially for our unit, they left a severe amount of miro-plastic pieces on our side lawn, with some larger pieces there too. It is very discouraging to see some of the pieces end up near and in our manhole. Anything that goes into the manholes will go directly to our waterways, streams, rivers and oceans, not the water treatment plant. It is difficult to take out the pieces once it goes down the manhole. Additionally, some of the tiny pieces went onto our potted plants outside. It seems like they weren't being careful regarding people's belongings. Some of the workers smoked on our yard. I don't appreciate having people smoking on our property and leaving their cigarettes on our lawn, especially without permission. The only main positive is that they left free candy on Halloween in the centre of our strata complex. Based on what we see, I wouldn't recommend Premium Fencing to do your fencing job. I don't know what the outcome will be like other than vinyl, but the craftsmanship here isn't looking so great.

He was attentive , informative and helpful each step of the way. I was impressed with the courtesy of the crew who showed up to work on time and functioned like a well oiled machine- each member knew what the role they played was and having dealt with many contractors on many different small and multi million dollar projects i can honestly say that it was refreshing to have premium fence build my second fence in the last 3 years!! I would definitely recommend calling them for a fair and reasonable quote.
