Because the property was a floating home, holding an on-site estate sale was not possible, and with the pending sale we did not have time for a traditional liquidation process. We initially found an estate company that would have been ideal, but they ultimately determined that the job was beyond their scope. We then contacted Sorted Estates, and the experience was exceptional. Because we were working remotely, all coordination had to be done through photographs. We sent as many images as possible and explained that our goal was to have the floating home completely cleared. They provided an estimate based on that information and followed through exactly as promised. On the scheduled day, they arrived with two trucks and a five-person crew. By the end of the day, the home was entirely empty, with two full truckloads delivered to donation sites. Communication throughout the process was clear, responsive, and professional. Given the constraints and complexity of the situation, their performance was genuinely impressive.

Prompt replies, thoughtful questions and answers, caring about our feelings towards all the items in the house and the house itself, patience with my sisters and I, their thoroughness in going through everything (and finding hidden treasures we had overlooked), and the timely manner in which they were able to clear the house for us - these women are amazing at getting the job done. Yes...there is cost involved, and for us, it was totally worth every penny because it allowed us time to process and grieve the passing of our mother. I highly recommend Sorted Estates!

Pete came to the rescue. He catalogued and organized everything and explained every step of the process. We were pleasantly surprised with our share of the proceeds. The items that did not sell were held over for other sales or donated to charities. We did not have to deal with anything and we were left with an empty house. Great communicator and very professional.

I went to the estate sale on Glen Dr in San Leandro last week. It would have given them a five star but as I was checking out, I noticed someone at the tables on the opposite side of me, looking at two loppers. I mentioned that I didn't notice the loppers earlier to the cashier (who was super sweet). She turned around to look at the loppers, then asked her colleague, who was stationed at the jewelry, if the loppers were on hold for someone. Instead of hearing what she was saying, he thought it was appropriate to get angry at the customer who was looking at them. He was so angry that he must have forgotten how to be a human, because basically just yelled at the customer, saying "No!" and huffed as he furiously waved to where I was standing, indicating that the customer should be on the side where I was standing. Did he think the customer couldn't speak English? Is that why he stopped using his words and just waved his hands? From a customers perspective, this was wildly off putting. Even my partner and his mom and the lady who checked me out were shocked.

We knew the situation called for an immediate estate sale. A call to the YES Co proved to be a blessing. The owner of the company, Kevin Black, responded to our needs without hesitation when most would have declined the job. Every room was filled to capacity with all sorts of personal property including artwork, jewelry, electronics, kitchen accessories and a hospital bed that took up most of the space in the bedroom. To us it all seemed too daunting a task, but not to Kevin! Within two days Kevin and his crew organized everything for viewing, with like items paired together, and created pathways for people to walk around. It was amazing what they were able to do in such a short period of time considering the hundreds of items for sale. Kevin's attention to detail remarkably included very clear signage throughout the premises. The sale was a true success in every way possible! The YES Co is a well-oiled machine thanks to Keven and his crew. We highly recommend Kevin Black's company for handling an estate sale of any size. They are the best!! Thank you so much.

Kevin Black, the company owner, runs a well oiled operation, and enlists experienced staffers to move, organize, assemble by lots and type in order to create a 'store-like' environment within a home. Disposition and sale of items within our nearly 8,000 square foot home presented a challenge that was managed with efficiency by the YES company. Mr. Black and company spent a full week ahead the sale to break down, re-organize and place thousands of small to medium sized items from our various collections onto sale tables; provided safety and directional signage through-out the home for the sale dates; helped to coordinate a nearby parking lot for anticipated crowds; listed the larger furniture items on-line prior to the sale, recognizing nearly 35,000 marketing 'hits', and staffed the five consecutive sale dates with his experienced team. The YES company communicated regularly during the pre-sale process and during the sale week. The check-out process for buyers was seamless, efficient and safe, with all items leaving through a single, large exit from the home. The YES company also provided the boxes, packaging and bags for use by buyers in facilitating the post-sale departure. Our check reflecting the residual proceeds from the sale was processed expeditiously. The YES company ownership and staff clearly demonstrate the experience and confidence in accomplishing the sale goals, and we recommend them for your estate sale requirements.

Shiloh was knowledgeable, compassionate, and incredibly efficient. She prepared us for what to expect, knew how to price things, and fielded multiple requests to accommodate last-minute changes. She transformed what felt like an overwhelming task into something orderly, organized, and manageable. Her team of experts allowed us to get the best possible prices and make good decisions about next steps. I can't imagine having done this without her.

She arrived for our appointment within a few days of initial contact, carefully inspected and photographed all the pieces, and discussed the estate sale process and what her company offers. We scheduled two sales, one for friends of the family and the second for the public. She worked with her resources to fairly price all the items, and engaged a professional buyer to prepurchase much of the furniture. She negotiated excellent prices, and the buyer moved the large and heavy items out at their expense saving us the effort and cost and opening up the space to showcase the art. On the three sale days, she provided masks for those who didn't have them, managed the flow through the rooms, collected money and sales tax, and was a knowledgeable resource to the buyers about the artist, art, and home furnishings. The sale was very successful leaving only a few items unsold. We received an itemized account within a week and a check for the net proceeds by Certified Mail. Shiloh is very professional, cooperative, and friendly. She communicates very well. It was a pleasure to work with someone who "gets it all right," and is highly organized. The sale could not have gone any better. I give Shiloh and Alexis Estate Sales my highest recommendation!
