Probably the only real surf shop
in Devon. The place is chilled, relaxed and cool. I have been in them all. Most will
tell you what you want to hear to get a sale. One surf shop sold me a board for
my wife Ruth, she could not get on with it so took it back to the shop to see
what could be sorted, they told me I would be better off selling it on Ebay I
never went into the shop again. They have gone bust now, there's a
surprise. Surfed Out has got soul and a
passion for what it does Glenn has talked me out of buying a new board a while
back and gave me a new fin to try. The fin made the board handle and feel
totally different and to all tense and purpose was a new board. There was
method in his madness though now I have more fins than you could imagine But I
love it. They sorted Ruth out with a board she could ride instead of a board
she kept falling off. She's loving it now There is nothing worse than being
sold a board you cannot get up on. you start to think it's you, then you lose
interest, then you do not want to do it anymore. A happy wife that surfs means
more time in the water which is what it is all about. Surfed Out is
Glenn Harris whatever they are paying him it's not enough. All the
staff are friendly and if you ask them they will organize you surf lessons. Just remember: Stay Fit,
Surf Long, Surfed Out read more
