Rim damages on 2/2/26. Manager on duty took pictures and stated someone would contact me. After I called 3 times with no response, the manager finally called back and said "not their fault" and then hung up on me. I filed a complaint with BBB on 3/19/26. They received no response from the company so they filed the complaint but there was nothing further they could do. So I will never use this site again and will share my story with anyone asking about where to get a good car wash. I had use them for a couple of years and I would have thought they had better customer service. BTW. The rim replacement cost is $900. read more

Had to go through the wash twice and there were still visible areas the car was dirty. Missed bug splatter, pollen from trees, and general dirt buildup across the entire car. Not a good value, to top it off their vacuums were too weak to remove grass and gravel from my car floor as well. There are other washes with a better value for money. read more

It's convenient but seems a little pricey for still having quite a but of grime left at the base of the car. I haven't been to a drive thru car wash recently and maybe it's inflation as with everything else but I remember $5 washes elsewhere for what they offer here for $8 (their least expensive option). I'll try other car washes before I come back here. read more

Surf Thru Express Car Wash - Feb 2023 - Car Wash Near Me - Tucson, Arizona

I'm torn between a 3 and 4 star review because when I want a drive through car cleaning I use them. I will stick with three stars because when I drive my Toyota Tacoma truck through the the wash I always see that the water soap nozzles don't strike (clean) between the gap between the cab and where the bed starts, and seem to miss near the bottom of the truck line front to back. So I end up using my shammy to get those areas after. The rims and tires get a good spray but I think it is my rim design and how they are shaped that don't allow a deep cleaning so I will just say I wish you better luck than me. They do allow you to take it through again if you feel it want cleaned right so that's a plus. But it does get annoying when you are in a hurry. The vacuums have great suction and the air spray guns have lots of power to blow the excess water off your truck. You can also adjust the height of the vacuum assembly up or down. The price has gone up for the lower car wash from $13 to $15, but you still get a cup of coffee, wipe rag, trash bag, and air refresher. I do like the big mirror that reflects your car so you can ensure your tires are aligned correctly as you move into the car wash bay. They do offer year passes, but I can't quote the price as I use them when I don't have time to hand wash my truck. One last thing save your receipt because if it rains three days from your wash you can bring it back for a run through for free. read more

This place used to be awesome!! There were always two men that scrubbed your vehicle and tires before it went into the automative section. Now there is one person, a woman who does not even speak English, my car got stuck and no one was around to help. I had to figure it out myself, and to boot the dryer at the end of the wash was cold. For the value the unlimited washes are nice plus the vacuums are always good. Its an automatic car wash so you're always gonna have a few spots, but most of the grunt work is done for you. If you have a car that you want to keep clean run it through the wash then valet the inside yourself once a week. I personally then go over my black trims with product and a sealant to keep it looking good for the next week. read more

I had to wash my car as it had been parked exposed for a week at my work. This place is really close so I figure I give it a try. I'll start with the good. The prices where pretty reasonable and they did give me an air freshener, dash wipe when I came thru. So that was nice. They not only spray but brush your car prior to going thru, so it is great for a prewash. My car is older, but it did come out looking great. First place that the spot free rinse was actually 95% spot free. My only complaint is that the kids (they looked to be about maybe 16 years old max) telling you to pull into the wash had no idea what they where doing. One gave me a super hard STOP sign when I wasn't even close. Then one said pull forward, so I did, and then the other one again kinda flipped out and threw his hand up to stop immediately. I just laughed as they did some stuff and then pulled me forward. Maybe get someone not on their phone to pull people forward. Other than that it was a great wash, at a reasonable price. read more

Tried this carwash across from Costco for the first time and was pleasantly surprised with the entire experience (and now I shouldn't be surprised by so many high reviews)! This is a carwash where you remain in the car (put the gear in neutral) and let the operation slowly pull you through the entire process, from suds to power drying). We were cheerfully greeted at the entrance and advised of the 4 main options, from a modest $8 for plain wash (no wax) to $20+ for various add-ons. Tip: if you get one of the two top tier washes they automatically come with a 5-day rain guarantee... even during monsoon! If it rains within those five days, simply return (with receipt) and you'll get a free "makeup" wash. Nice peace of mind for those (like me) who feel jinxed that whenever they scrub their car, it invariably rains. Once you're through the power dryers you can easily exit back onto Wilmot/Costco parking lot or you can u-turn into one of their 12 vacuuming bays. They are wide, clean, canopy shaded with both garbage and recycle bins beside each bay, and free (powerful) vacuum hoses to self-clean your floors and trunk. Bring a microfiber cloth and you can also do some fine tuning with any lingering water streaks. A great all-around experience. read more

Got ripped off twice from this place. The first time I bought a card for five extreme car washes for $72. Unfortunately I only got four car washes from the card. Thinking I might of been in error, went again to buy another five car wash card for the best wash they had called the extreme. I ran my car through and at the end it said I had gotten an epic car wash which is the cheapest one they have. The difference in price was $53 for the five car washes so I essentially bought five shitty car washes for $72 when it should've been their extreme best wash Watch your wallet. read more

My brother and I go here a lot to get our cars washed. Nothing fancy or spiracular. They prewash your car first which is nice then they send it thru the car wash. Usually gets most spots off my car. The vacuum machine work pretty good at this location, great suction. You can also purchase a monthly membership for unlimited wash's. read more

Went today. I had my wallet stolen Bout a week ago and didn't know my membership was on one of the cards stolen. Anyways- had no clue it wasn't paid. Handed them my card to update the into and the attendant, Ruben, just kept saying my card expired and I owed. I asked him repeatedly how to update it and if he could. Again- same answer. It's extremely frustrating to have something so simple not be fixed by an employee here. I'm trying to give you money and the employee basically refused to help. read more

I got in early this morning and went through wash. As I was cleaning up inside windows a nice young lady, Ashley, came by and said "there are still bugs on the front of your vehicle, so please run it through again on us". I was pretty shocked and did as she said. I usually get the Ultimate wash but they said they'd do the Extreme (?) on it. On the way through the 2nd time Ashley was there checking to see if it was clean and she sent me through AGAIN!!! This time she actually got out there with the others and stopped my vehicle and scrubbed at it herself. So my car went through 3 times and I couldn't have asked for better service...it shows she cares about her patrons and her job and I can't thank her enough! I take really good care of my 2005 Jeep Grand Cherokee and it looks brand new now. I will keep on going back to the new Surf Thru near Costco from now on! read more

Since I have discovered this awesome car wash 2 weeks ago, I have taken 3 of our family cars here. I can't say enough about Leo the cashier. She has always been positive and extremely helpful. I think her hospitality helped to create an immediate excellent first impression! Besides loving Leo, this car wash offers multiple cleaning apparatus', high suction vacuums and a high pressure air blower that allows you to quickly dry off water droplets as well as get all the vent dust. What sets this car wash above the rest is they invite you to run your vehicle through again if it didn't get cleaned to your satisfaction the first time. I have never had a car wash extend this. I highly recommend this car wash. read more
