I was a Pathfinder Camporee attendee with my 14 year old daughter. Tuesday August 6, 2024 when the big thunderstorm hit we were one of the many unlucky ones whose tents got flooded. We went to another laundromat first but it was SO packed, so thankfully I remembered this name from an interview before camporee when this laundromat was mentioned! I called and was told there 4 empty dryers, we needed 4! So we jumped in our cars and hurried over there to find the dryers still available and a very friendly and helpful staff! I can't mentioned enough how grateful we were to find this beautifully decorated and clean laundromat that stayed open who know how late that night or into the wee hours for all of us in need to dry our sleeping bags, bedding and even clothes so we could sleep that night. Not to mention I only paid $2.50 to dry 4 sleeping bags, 2 blankets, a down pillow, and a PF uniform. Thank you SO much for your kindness and cheerfulness while serving such a stressed out crowd with a Christ-like attitude! May we all do the same when we need to serve others. Our California King bedspread needed a good wash. As most of us know, it's hard to this at home with a regular washer & dryer set. So I called around & found Surf & Suds. As an RV'er I see plenty of laundry mats across the country. This place was clean, prices about average in my experience. The staff was very friendly. A variety of machine sizes - all front load. Change machine, supplies, and snacks all available. Decor was cute and machines were all working at my visit. Seemed quite safe too as I frequent these places solo!! read more

I think the price is $11 per pound. There are seats inside and outside the store. FREE INTERNET. Plenty of power outlets. Game machine. Vendor machine. Considerably placed trash can. This is about the nicest laundromat I have been in, keeping in mind that it is, after a laundromat. It is clean, everything seems to be working, has a friendly helpful attendant. There are even toys and books for the little ones, although of course they still prefer to play with the laundry basket carts. Fortunately, there are lots of them, carts that is. I can't speak to the Internet service since I have my Verizon Hotspot with me, but what a great idea! read more
