We were greeted warmly and our server was just the right amount of attentive. Before we settled in I checked out the art/black and white portraits on the wall behind a selfie station. We started with Buffalo wings. Requested extra crispy. All wings and no drums. Did not disappoint. For entrees I went beef and husband went pork. The meat was undercooked for my taste so I would not order this dish again. Husband gave the pork a good review. We both enjoyed the seasonal veggie side. The hasbrown-like potato side I tried was very well done. We hope this becomes a place we can return to year after year when we visit the Clear Lake area. read more

Great spot..stopped by for a Sunday Brunch and sat outside on the deckand enjoyed the Birria Tacos and a Tequila Sunrise just across the parking lot from the famous Surf Ballroom. Service was excellent and I'm sure we'll be back again. read more

I did order my food over the phone and took it to go, but I am going to return and eat in person. This place just has the vibe. I had the Cheeseburger and fries and it was so amazing! The bun was toasted, the meat was well seasoned and juicy, the cheese melty and gooey. The meat was grilled and had those delicious crispy bits and edges. This tasted like a real good old fashioned burger that is so hard to find nowadays. The fries were seasoned and crispy and perfect. I ordered my food over the phone and the gentleman that answered was so nice and accommodating. The food was ready in a timely manner. I will be returning to dine in person. The location is great the interior was inviting and the outside seating looked amazing. I went here last night. It was a very fun atmosphere. It was a beautiful night and we could've eaten on the porch but decided to dine inside. Awesome selection of food and drinks. I had the baja chicken fajita quesadilla and my guest had the birria tacos. We also shared chips and queso. The food was hot and very very good. Birria tacos were extremely flavorful. Chicken in quesadilla was also amazing. Service was good and we have already talked about what to order next time we go. Looking forward to trying the fish tacos. This place misses the mark. How can we be unhappy when we are in Clear Lake? Service was fine - doesn't anyone drop a napkin for drinks anymore?! Atmosphere was fine. Food was terrible. My husband ordered a med-rare burger and it was a frozen overcooked patty with too much bun, my daughter's brussels sprouts were under cooked, my Caesar salad was serviceable but no crutons as advertised and there was too many tomatoes and chicken to the ratio of lettuce. 5 of us stopped here on a Saturday afternoon around 1:00. Fewer than 10 people seated tables. We were seated and told Carlos will be waiting on us. A table of 3 were seated after us and ordered drinks and food from the waitress. Carlos was at the bar, saw us sitting there and continued to dink around behind the bar. He made eye contact with us numerous times but did not come over to our table. After waiting 10 minutes we got up to leave. Carlos walked towards us and said I was coming over. Went for Sunday brunch buffet. Not many breakfast options in Clear Lake, but this would hold up well in any city. Price was reasonable, service was good, restaurant is very clean and modern. (Formerly Surf District, but much brighter/cleaner decor now). Many options from salad to breakfast items, chicken, fish, deserts. Everything everyone in our party of 9 was enjoyed. Any items running low were promptly refilled, even though the restaurant wasn't very crowded. Will definitely be back for brunch sometime, and will likely try the lunch/dinner menu sometime soon also. Same owners as Avion Azul at the airport. read more

This is my first ever negative review. Our brussel sprouts were brought to another table, left to cool and then repurposed to our table. The 17 dollar burger wasn't fit to serve at a fast food restaurant and was cold. as were the fries. Shrimp tacos were great and the porch is beautiful. In the name of good food however...avoid this place at all costs. I won't even be giving it a second chance. Horrendous. They should be embarrassed. Spent 175 bucks for a sub par meal. read more
