Dont get me wrong- it has GREAT meat/bun flavor to it- just too many little things that went wrong…read moreduring my visit (not staff fault! They were great and friendly and I did not mention or complain about the lack of customizations to them nor did I complain about the onions- i did not say a word when trying to figure out kikosk (or tablet whatever you call it) Kikosk ordering at the counter- It would not allow me to add sauce on side. There was no description of what it was so was confusing when ordered at first. The menu/kikosk doesnt say what kind of sauce- drives me crazy when there is no clear definition for people who are picky or cant have certain items in their food. My shake did not come with whipped cream unlike pictures or social media feeds. Fountain drink was flat to my disappointment so got refunded for that only and went with water. Clean taste. Burger has great potential but if they are not allowing us to customize it to our own preference it will fail in this location. Lack of toppings to my dismay- When I got my burger with the sauce cheese and grilled onions, it looked good at first glance. When I bit into the grilled onions it was not tender/soft it was like eating stringy rope with the burger yanking it out with my teeth . Sauce wasnt memoriable for me. Still have no idea what it consisted of even few days later. Again Bun/meat was delish driving me on eating the burger. Fries were ok- nothing to write home about. Not coming back though until they improve on some areas. This is too expensive for the mistakes/lack of customization/options for a picky person like me. If it was signifcantly less in cost I would have let it slide and bring home plain burgers and customize it at home. But this was a HUGE bucket list for me being open minded about what went on my burger (I usually ask for plain with certain toppings only) Best of luck to this establishment!

The quest for a great burger is never-ending…read more There's a place for all kinds in burger world, and the iconic smash burger is a classic. If your doing it, do it right! Meat N Melt is doing it right. We had the smash burger combo with a shake and fries. The burger was good! Well seasoned and well cooked. I don't love shredded lettuce, makes things messier than they need to be, next time I'd remove that. Also, I'd like some tomato but it's not an option here. The fries are very crispy and stayed that way, but they got cold fast. Somehow they didn't hold their initial temperature well but they were great while still hot. I had the biscoff shake, love that option. Good flavor, and the combo is a nice value at just a 5 dollar up-charge. Really this place reminds me of Steak N Shake before the whole franchise went down hill, and looking at the name maybe that's what they're going for. There are some cons here. The place doesn't have any character, despite plenty of seating, so no real reason to do anything but take out. Also, it was freezing in there on this visit. Too cold to eat inside at all, and if your getting a shake you don't want to be that cold already. Self order pad... I wish they wouldn't do this. It's self pickup at the counter so there's no service. The menu is bare bones, which is fine, but it's odd that you can't get toppings they offer on loaded fries on your burger as well. Cross utilize those products guys! A few more topping options would make a big difference honestly. And just from a business perspective, you could use a kids meal. All in all I plan to return, when I feel like a smash burger this will be go-to for now. The mango shake and loaded fries are calling my name as well.

I got: 2 pc chicken: 10/10 nice and fresh! We waited about 20 minutes since they make it fresh to order. It was nice and juicy and really crispy. The biscuit is life changing! It was perfectly sweet and crisp! Cole slaw: really good! Not overly sweet and great texture. Onion rings: great portion and really yummy!! We got our order for dine in. There were a few slot machines around and a small bar. The people working there are very nice and checked up on us periodically to make sure the food was good. I would for sure recommend trying them out!

This might be the best taco you can get around here! It's DEFINITELY the best quesa birria I've ever had, period. The people running the truck speak great English, a bonus in this area. They give you a pager that beeps when your food ready so you can wait in your car. The set up is in the Alamo parking lot so there's ample space to park and wait. That said my wait times have been very short. I think the price point is very reasonable too, at about 15 bucks a head. We've tried several of the tacos, tostadas, and beans and rice. It's all great! For me though the best thing is the quesa birra. This is that trendy taco dish that everyone and their mom started selling when it blew up a few years back. I never understood the hype... until now. THIS is the dish I've been looking for all these years! The consome is the real deal, you could drink it on its own and I have. Perfectly executed all around, and the flavors are fantastic. Their green sauce is on point too. I won't tolerate a weak green sauce and and this one elevates everything nicely. I hope they park here forever because this is my new go-to spot for tacos near me!

The steak tacos were incredible--crispy, packed with meat, and the birria-style sauce was so good. I also got the lemon pepper wings, and they were whole wings, not just drums or flats. Everything tasted fresh and like they really care about the food they're putting out. You can also tell this is a family-run business, which made the experience even better. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. The platter was a little more than I wanted to spend but the quality made it worth it. I'll definitely be back for the tacos and to try more of the menu. Really hope this place does well.

Wing nirvana. Those two words could be the review, but let's talk about Superb. The place is small…read morebut they've done a good job making it feel bigger than it is. I was worried it would be the kind of place thats awkward to dine-in, but it's definitely a comfortable vibe. I still ordered to-go this time, but only because I was behind schedule and needed to get ready for work. The menu is a little all over the place. But it's not huge. Just oddly specific and curated. I got the feeling these are just a collection of things the owner knows well, which is always a good sign. Whole wings! I'm telling you, almost no one does wings like this. The ones who do almost never disappoint. Some traditional flavors and some exciting options on the list but I had to have the spicy lemon pepper flavor. I've had a "similar" flavor at a local chain place that's decent, I was hoping for a slight upgrade. These wings are on another level! I took one look/whiff and knew these were amazing. Crispy, tender, piping hot. Seasoned and sauced so absolutely perfectly... the flavor blew me away! I'm a bit picky when it comes to wings, I've had access to some great places in my past but nothing around here could compete. These are the new standard. I don't think I've had a better wing, ever. The order comes with crinkle fries, which were alright. I'm betting the other sides are more impressive. My grandma got the porkchop sandwich. They offered grilled or fried which is really cool. She got grilled and loved her sandwich! Proper maxwell street style, she even said it evoked nostalgia back to her childhood when she'd have these sandwiches in the city. Everything came out pretty quickly and transferred home well. The two people running the place we're great too, excellent service. I will definitely be back, as soon as tomorrow if they're open for the holiday! On a random note, it's listed as Superb Grill on google, but that has them competing with other results, so I think the name listed here is a better bet.
