They sent something laughably different ( I do understand that substitutions sometimes need to be made and I have realistic expectations). I called and spoke to the owner, who said they had to make edits, omitting some of the flowers because they were in poor condition, which is why it wasn't similar to the arrangement I purchased. She said they couldn't do anything about it, and offered to add extra flowers to my next purchase. Please see screenshot of what I ordered and a photo what my mother received, for you to decide. I quickly learned that this is a 1-800-Flowers florist shop and early next morning I called the 1-800 number to make arrangements for delivery that day. I received a call shortly after 8am from the Florist Family and was given a time frame of when the flowers would be dropped off. What outstanding customer service! When the flowers arrived with Gary in the specified time they looked beautiful. The flowers we received as apart of the A DOG-able Collection. How fitting :) We were also the recipient of some Harry London chocolates. Gary was cheerful and friendly especially for someone that makes so many deliveries per day. I signed the paper for, stating I received the delivery and Gary was on his way. After disassembling the folded paper where the names and message from sender is there was also a reminder enclosed to water the particular arrangement we were sent every day. There was also a card that had a number displayed that invited us to call if we had any questions regarding our floral arrangement. In addition, there was a coupon for a subsequent flower delivery. They certainly are an asset to Hyde Park Village. The owner, Gayle, runs a tight ship and she seems to employ only the very talented floral designers. Her weddings and venue stylings are stunning! She also offers workshops on how to make your own arrangement and flower crown ones as well-how cool! Gayle is very passionate about her line of work and its evident she loves sharing her passion with others! The first time I received flowers from here they were from my family. What a gorgeous array of types of flowers and colors were employed. I have popped in on occasion to buy loose flowers as well. The stems she has are beautiful! I also ordered a floral crown for my maternity (pregnancy) shoot that I did, as the silk crowns the photographer offered were nice but I had seen what nice work FF does with crowns and I knew I wanted one! April came through for me and delivered a beautiful crown with florals in the color palette I requested that morning I spoke with her and she only took around an hour to create it! I was amazed! (I ordered one a few days in advance but somehow the time was overlooked). I appreciated the expedited order and the stellar customer service I received from April! She even noticed I had called before the shop opened at 10am (caller ID because I didn't leave a message) and she returned my call unprompted. What great service! I highly recommend Florist Fire and look forward to patronizing them again in the future.
