She said if she'd reached a wrong number, to call 866-949-137* (couldn't understand the last digit)... She gave her name as Shenae with Rent Recovery Solutions. She went on to say that by listening to the message, I was acknowledging that I was the person she was trying to reach (whom I am not), and she said it was a PERSONAL matter, she was attempting to collect a debt by federal law, etc etc. The number she called from is 678-819-4723. No professional company would or should assume that, by leaving a voice mail for someone, they have reached said person. It is a violation of federal law and personal rights to have a company disclose a person's name and personal information without absolute confirmation that they are speaking to that person. I plan to report this company to BBB and to sources that govern federal law and debt collecting procedures.
