You can either order by the pound for a party or individually order tacos. They are generous with the taco meat. They also have Barbacoa which was so delicious just enough fat to actual meat ratio *chefs kiss* Will be back again for a lunch break! Things to note: * This is more of a takeout place. There's not any seating that I saw. * You can either order individual tacos or meat by the pound, and they'll provide tortillas and salsa with the fixings * They specialize in pork, so don't expect to have a wide variety of meat. From what I saw, they only have pork and Barbacoa.

I visit two other locations prior to walking in the correct door. The tamales were great flavor and texture. I ordered 4 pork tamales. Theirs not variety of meals plates here. No sides, just tamales and drinks and pastries. It's mainly a bakery that offers tamales. Customer service very friendly. I would order tamales from here again. They were moist, and had a bit of oil on it not too bad though. The donut my son ordered was not as enjoyable or worth the $1.10 for a sugar donut. It was not glazed. It was dry with sugar. He probably took 2 bites and placed the rest in the waste bin.

I love stopping into the us little chain of Mexican grocery stores for some basic grocery needs…read moreplus the prepared food section. While I don't cook Mexican food often, I can still find some solid everyday produce items here like fruits, onions, limes, eggs etc that you need in a pinch. The butcher shop in the back also has some amazing deals on meats, marinated and regular once and awhile. However the main reason I visit this chain is for the prepared foods. It's like a mini cafeteria line with a plethora of marinated and cooked meats plus sides! There's so many options in terms of purchasing. They sell the meats by the pound, as tacos, or as my favorite, a combination plate with the choice of two sides and two meats with tortillas. My go to order is usually rice and beans plus barbacoa and pastor, but I often times mix it up with the other various options, many of which I can't name. The ladies scooping the food are nice and will help you. Don't forget to ask for extra goodies like red and green salsa plus cilantro, onion, and limes to make your own tacos since the plate comes with tortillas. For $10.99 I consider this an excellent deal on some authentic Mexican food. The food comes packaged to go, but many stay and eat in store at one of the many available tables laid out. You must purchase your meal first at the register along with any drink you may want. It helps to know a little Spanish, but you'll be fine even without.

I think it's a frozen product that they heat in the comal or griddle. The curtido wasn't fresh either. The side of stewed vegetables was good and healthy though. You can't buy an individual pastry any more due to Covid. You have to buy more than one. They do have individual portions of chocoflan, tres leches, and other goodies in the refrigerated section. By the way, I didn't see them disinfecting the chairs and tables after they had been used. I asked a lady behind the food counter if she had something I could disinfect the chair and table with. She pointed me to the hand sanitizer pump. I should have gotten my wipes out of the car. Oh well! I was hungry.

This place is just wonderful I am going to come back here this weekend and buy one of their Giant pig skins fried pig skins and give it to my dog not all at once because I don't know what that would do to her but I know she eats chicharrones when I eat them so I can just imagine the fun she would have with the giant ones they have at this location. I'm going to have to take a picture of it with her but then fight her to get it away I'm thinking. This place has a fresh meat market too, already flavored meats all you got to do is throw them on the grill it doesn't get any better than that. The tortillas I love them super huge tortillas something that can qualify as a large burrito or a big quesadilla. Not these little pathetic things you see at regular grocery stores, these tortillas are dope. Dope a word anymore? Guess I'm showing my age. Anyway check this place out you will not be disappointed

We were given a sample which was a carnita taco. We topped it with their complimentary salsa bar and took a bite. AYE DIOS MIO, QUE RICO! It was then I had to make some carnitas MINE! We opted for 1 pound of carnitas. For $12 bucks you'll receive carnitas (with your choice of skin or no skin), a package of corn tortillas, a variety of salsas and a package of escabeche peppers. We drove home at lightening speed and dug in, simply standing around the kitchen island. The food was enough to provide lunch for 3 hungry ladies. The porky goodness of the carnitas was phenomenal. I will defi return here when I get a hankering for well made, masterfully prepared carnitas.
