After my experience with College Hunks Hauling Junk & Moving, I was completely frustrated. I was initially quoted around $800 to remove the items from my father's estate, but when the crew finally arrived around 7:00 p.m., the estimate suddenly jumped to over $3,000. At that point, I told them to forget it. Still needing a very heavy antique Mosler safe removed, I called Gone Guys in Glenview. Other companies had quoted me anywhere from $2,500 to $3,000 just to move the safe. Gone Guys quoted me $450, arrived exactly when they said they would, and their crew was professional, efficient, and courteous. They not only removed the safe without any issues but also helped move several additional items. I would absolutely use Gone Guys again and highly recommend them for moving, estate cleanouts, heavy-item removal, or junk hauling. They were honest, straightforward, dependable, and delivered exactly what they promised. My experience with them was night and day compared to College Hunks.

First of all, they were able to accommodate us and squeeze us in with such short notice. We had already moved out of the house and were living 30 minutes away, and had to get it done in a week. Angel was so good about responding to text messages and calls and being available and willing to work out a schedule so we could get it done. We had the house cleaned on a Wednesday and the carpet steam cleaned on Saturday. He even came back to my house to close my windows when it rained bc I was so far away! The price was reasonable and on par with other quotes that we got, but we loved that this is a small family business and wanted to support that. And we made the best decision and now our carpet is clean, our house is sparkling and it's ready to go on the market. If we lived in the area, we would for sure be getting biweekly cleaning from them. Hope we can find someone in our area that can compare.
