Let me start by saying this is only the second time I have ever left a review on Yelp or anywhere else, but I am just so thrilled that I had to spread the word! I can't express enough how pleased we are with Superior Granite. The entire process from start to finish was absolutely wonderful! They were recommended to me by a contractor friend and since we live about 30 minutes away from their main Pensacola office, I decided to swing by another granite shop right down the street from our house. They barely acknowledged me and when they did call to give me a quote, they quoted me $75 a sq ft for mid-grade granite. When I asked why is this quote so high, she told me, and I quote, "The particular slab of granite you chose is very fragile, more fragile than others, so we have to charge more." This of course was a complete lie and I hung up the phone and immediately drove to Superior Granite. They were very busy when I arrived on a Saturday, yet still one of the owners, Wally, came right out to greet me and was ready to help me find the perfect slab of granite. I told him about my experience with the Gulf Breeze granite place and showed him a picture of the slab I had chosen there and he said "Thats a $59 a sq ft granite." I was blown away and yet he never badmouthed his competition when he explained that the granite quality is the same for all pieces...the price difference occurs with the more complex designs. Their quote was $2500 less than the place in Gulf Breeze! He proceeded to walk with me through their HUGE stock of inventory and when I didn't see exactly what I was looking for, he took me to the office and pulled up several slabs, that he had handpicked on one of his scout trips abroad, that were on a cargo ship on their way to the US and said he had one in mind he thinks I will love. He showed me the pic and it was perfect! Since I wasn't in a hurry, I could wait for the shipment to arrive. All-in-all he spent over an hour with me that day and I was sold! They called me periodically and kept me updated on when my granite would arrive and when it did I went to see it and it was exactly what I wanted! My install was scheduled for the following week and I couldn't be happier with how the install went! First of all, the two installers were personable and very skilled at what they do. They happily answered questions and went out of their way to keep my kitchen clean. We have a new range and when it stuck out further from the cabinet (due to protrusions on the back of the range) than I would prefer, he went out of his way to cut holes out of the piece of wood on the wall that supports the backsplash so that my range would slide in further. Carpentry was obviously not part of their job description, but he went above and beyond so that I would be truly satisfied with the positioning of my oven. I was so thrilled that he would go out of his way and take the extra time to measure and cut with an electric wood saw just so my range would slide in further....again this had nothing to do with his installing my granite. The other installer also cut the faucet and soap dispenser holes far enough apart to help with the cleaning, which I would have not thought about. Their attention to detail was awesome! When they had finished, I was blown away by the transformation of my kitchen and the sheer beauty of my countertops! I would recommend Superior Granite to everyone! I called around looking for quartz pricing. I said I was looking for white quartz. They told me quartz starts at $49 and having driven by many times, I know they would have what I'm looking for and surely for the lowest price due to the volume they do. I couldn't get by during business hours so I went after dark and shopped their slabs. They have a huge property, tons of slabs. I found 3 I was interested in. I called again and gave a salesperson the data right off the side of the slab and the guy was just confused as to what I could be asking about. Finally, he exclaims "Oh, it's an abbreviation!" I'm thinking: IDK!? It's YOUR inventory! Anyway, for white quartz, the price is $59/sq. If I said I'm shopping for white quartz, why tell me quartz starts at $49 if I'm going to come up there and find no white quartz for $49? Tell me during my first call that your white quartz starts at $59 or tell me what options are available for $49. Have a form email ready for bargain shoppers to show your cheapest granite and quartz. I will add that the receptionist at Superior Granite is phenomenal though. When you call a million places, someone as kind and gentle as her stands apart from the crowd. read more

I hired them to complete the granite on a condo renovation. Three pieces of granite, Kitchen Counter, bathroom counter and the main Island. Total cost $3200.00. Salespeople were great, easy to deal with. Workmanship was extremely poor, they originally forgot to drill for the sprayer on my kitchen counter, they lost a piece of trim from my bathroom counter (then refused to replace it, siting things can be destroyed during demolition). They forgot to remove the wood backsplash from the island counter. They had to return just to caulk the granite to granite areas. They refused to caulk granite to walls. The island itself was not square to the wall. 3/8" difference from one side to the other. They returned a total of two times to fix some of the workmanship issues. I can't in good faith recommend them for granite work. They finally reduced my price by $150 to compensate for some of my frustration. read more

Amazing from beginning to install! Discussed with Sarah on the phone my vision. Emailed pics of my kitchen & what I was trying to achieve. Got to showroom & she literally nailed a granite choice that was perfect. I thought I wanted quartz- but granite a better option for me. The guy measuring is mathematical genius! Sales was 5, templating and install, 1! Seams in the middle of the sink and pieced together in places that show, due to white color with minimum veining. Builder had to call them back urgently so that range could be fit into space...again, who did these measurements? Glue has discolored since late June...I'm sure the owner would never accept this shoddy work in his home. read more

Selecting/planning for replacements is a daunting task! Gabrielle Thomas was patient as well as very informative in helping us select the granite pieces for two bathrooms. She explained the whole process and kept me informed on every scheduled event. Tom comes along to do the measurements - he was swift, professional and very helpful with what we could expect on installation day. Then comes Henry & Julio! They were very professional and handled our install as if it was there own. Before leaving they made sure to fully explain the proper care/maintenance for our new counter tops. My wife and I went to choose the specific slabs we wanted for our kitchen island and counter tops as we had been told by our sales person was the next step in our process. Upon arrival, we were told our sales person no longer worked at Superior Granite and our account had been assumed by the young lady who met us in the showroom. When we went out to the yard and asked to see the interior slabs in order to choose the ones for our job, the sales person told us it was not possible because they were "too short on staff". We promptly told her that was a "deal breaker" and left to visit a competitor who gladly moved slabs around so we could choose the 2 we wanted for our kitchen. Due the rudeness of the sales person and the philosophy that customer satisfaction is not important to Superior Granite, I would recommend potential customers steer clear of this vendor. read more

The mark of a great company is what they do when things go wrong and Superior Granite gets high marks there. The installers saw that the edge on one of the pieces was wrong and went back to the shop to have a new piece cut. Good move. Unfortunately, the install didn't go so well with the seams being a mess. Mike made it clear they would get it right and sent out his "A Team". End result was perfect. I'm surprised by some of the negative reviews. My experience with Superior Granite is they stand behind their products and installations 100%. read more

I hired the Pace office to install quartz countertops. Casey was our salesman. Anthony and Dillon arrived on 10/26/2021 to install our purchase. I am 53 years old and have never had such fantastic service as these 2 installers provided. The work was so skilled that if I didn't know where they were seamed I wouldn't been able to see them. The job was top notch. Anthony and Dillon were professional, polite and answered any questions we asked. After they finished they provided instructions on what to do and what not to do for 48 hours. They were clean, removed all debris and left no sign that they were even there. I would highly recommend this business with no second thoughts. All steps from start to finish were explained, all staff were punctual and everything was as promised. I will be hiring them again in 3-4 months when I renovate my 3 bathrooms. read more

MILITARY AND VETERANS STAY AWAY! This company was hired by Adams Homes whom built our home to install granite. However, we only have been in the home for 9 months and the granite started changing colors. We contacted SUPERIOR several times which a guy came out and put baking soda on the spots, gave us sealer and said whoever from our company who did the work didn't do a good job. The fading got worse after he applied the baking soda so we contacted the owner and store several times and they refused to fix the issue. Instead, they said the warranty only covers chips. THIS IS A VERY UNETHICAL COMPANY AND INSTEAD OF STICKING BY THEIR WORK THEY WILL UTILIZE THE EXCUSE THAT THE WARRANTY ONLY COVERS CHIPS. As a DISABLED VETERAN I'm very disappointed in the treatment and service we have received and this company should stand by their code of ethics. If you're buying a home from Adams Homes are using this company for any work please be aware and do research. Granite should not discolor no matter how light it is unless its not good quality or wasn't installed properly read more

I am very surprised that someone would write such a bad review about the business who supplied my newly built house with the best quality granite I have found in the Pensacola area. Granted, they are not cheap by any means, but it's granite, which is naturally expensive. I have found the salesmen to be friendly and NOT pushy. We used Superior Granite to remodel our kitchen and bathrooms. They are absolute pleasure to deal with, she is very responsive and knowledgeable. Their team did the installation and they were very accommodating to our schedule and fast timeline. We looked at several different companies and picked Granite because of their customer service and price. When they give you a quote they stick with it 100%, no hidden charges down the road. Also, I appreciated that their team could do almost all parts of the remodel, including things like installing new tubs and gas lines for the oven, etc. so I didn't have to deal with several contractors. Terrible company, product and service. I had $3,000.00 worth of granite installed in my kitchen by this company, and had a small chip on the edge of one of my countertops. When I complained about it, the company did the "honorable" thing, and sent the worker out to epoxy it. The owner wanted to then give me a lifetime warranty. A warranty on a defective piece of granite that I paid $3,000.00' for! What a joke!!!!! read more

We have used Superior Granite for a kitchen remodel and several bathroom remodels and just as their name implies, we have found them to be exactly that, Superior! Wally spent a considerable amount of time with us helping us find exactly the right granite for our needs and was extremely helpful in informing us of which colors would go best with our tile and paint colors. The waterfall edge that they did on one of our bathrooms looks awesome and we did the same for our kitchen and remaining bathrooms. Selection is great, they will hold your granite without having to put down a deposit, and will let you know if they have other granite that is currently out of stock or is a new line for them that will be arriving shortly. They will also show you how they are going to cut the granite so that you can ensure that it is how you anticipated that it would look and has the proper flow. If I could have given them 6 stars, I would have done so. As for pricing, we found that they are in line with other vendors and their customer service is unsurpassed. I would definitely use them again for future projects and have recommended them to several friends. read more

I have to think that the negative review I read was written by a competitor--or someone with an "axe to grind." We have done our kitchen and all three baths with Superior Granite and couldn't be more pleased! This company is wonderful to work with, and there was absolutely no pushing to buy. When we had plans to use some of the excess pieces of granite, they offered to cut and polish them for free. Furthermore, our granite is GORGEOUS, absolutely worth the slightly higher cost.
