Okay WHY is it so expensive to use the machines??? I think it costed me like a total of 6 bucks in quarters to vacuum my tiny, two-door car (that wasn't even that dirty). After that, I didn't even have any quarters left to do an actual wash. They had some vending machines with pop and cleaning accessories. I purchased a car tree air freshener from one of the vending machines but did not feel like forking out more quarters for a mini pack of armorall wipes. The place seems to be popular. There are always cars there when I drive by, but I personally was not a huge fan.
Update: This car wash is conveniently located for me, so I went back because I was in a hurry and bought the premium touch-free wash. I wasn't really impressed, there was still visible dirt on my car. I had driven down a gravel road, so I wanted to get off the "dust" layer that settles on the car. You could still see it in streaks along the back and on the tires. read more
