It is located in the former Poundworld unit and is next to Sports Direct. Being new, the store has a pretty good feel to it and it feels nicer than the other stores even though the eyebrow area at the end of the store can make that part of the store pretty narrow and awkward, perhaps making a dedicated corner similar to what other Superdrug branches have done, would have made more sense and it surely would have been possible too as this is a pretty new store. The store might not have a Pharmacy but it has more "in-store services" than many other of Superdrugs nearby branches, for example, it is the only store within 3.5 miles to have a Health Clinic and unlike the Bolton store, it does have a Nail bar which is pretty useful for ladies to go alongside the Brow and Lash Bar in the store which both of them have. It's obviously a new store and has a good feel to it, while I do think a Pharmacy would have been useful as well as a better selection of beverages (they had no ice tea which all other stores seem to have!) and the health selection could have also been better. 3*

The rest of the store is split into the usual sections, the one bit i do find slightly disappointing is the three for two offer section, especially at this time of year when the hristmas offers are on. The two tills at the front can get quite a few people queuing and people often use the perfume counters. The staff are quite good at giving advice on products as well.

This Boots sells all the usual things you would expect: medicines, make up, toiletries etc. They also have a large electrical range and a perfume counter with some really good offers on. This Boots isn't usually too busy because of its location and you don't usually need to queue long at the tills. Boots also run an advantage card system where you get 4 points for every pound you spend. These points can then be spent on items in Boots which have a star next to the price tag. I try to save my points up for Christmas and get quite a lot this way.

However i find the layout quite confusing at times with womens hair removal products being on one random shelf in the middle of the store miles away from all the mens razors which is the area i would expect to find them near. Prices are also probably cheap elsewhere but of course with Boots there is the added bonus of advantage points. The tills are also in a bit of a random place in the middle of the store, but the staff are really polite and often do have a quick chat with you rather than just check out your items and take your money- which is a nice change!

There is the pharmacy, No7 range and essentials range, most of the toiletries brands, baby section, vitamins and potions, travel, perfumes and electricals, photo, sandwiches, salads, juices and milk, some confectionery and crisps. The choice could be larger but given the area of the shop - it's understandable the choice is not that great. The sandwiches aren't good - shapers, or any other brand - they are just plain awful - tasteless and overpriced, the choice isn't great either. The staff are not that warm, some girls who work there are nice enough but they all could be a bit more polite and helpful. The annoying bit is also that the shelves are not stocked very often, so when you want to e.g. want to buy the 3for 2 vitamins of one choice - there will be one or two items but not three. Some products are not replaced in days - annoying and frustrating. All in all, this Boots is not that bad but it is not that great either when it comes to choice and service.

This is a decent sized Boots which also stocks premium brands such as Estee Lauder, Benefit,…read moreClinique etc. It also has a pharmacy and a photo counter. It is up at Gemini, adjacent to Next and there is a large free car park out the front making it convenient to visit. It is open late until 8pm most night too making it handy to nip to after work. The selection of brands is good, much better than the Boots in town and the staff are helpful and quick, I have never had to queue for long. The only negative point is that the advantage card machine never seems to be working when I visit so I miss out on picking up any extra points that may be on offer.

This is a large Boots store with lots to offer. There are beauty counters, toys, clothes, medicines…read more& the usual toiletry products. It's situated on the Gemini retail park & is close to other stores such as Next, Ikea & M&S. The staff are friendly & helpful but sometimes I've found it hard to find someone as the store is so big! They always have excellent 3 for 2 offers on at Christmas & I've had some good buys from there. The car park is a reasonable size but I think it could do with being a bit bigger as it does get busy especially at busy times such as sales & Christmas shoppers. It's open until 8pm & I think at Christmas it sometimes stays open until even later which is always good. Overall a good store with lots to offer.

They have a drop off point for perscriptions in store. You can either wait for your medication or have a look around the store or other shops and then pick it up when it is ready. Boots sell a really good range of baby clothes and they even do a premiture baby range which i love as not many shops do. I bought a child gate from here last year and it was only £18 i thought that was a bargain. Also if you buy boots nappies they are only £1.81 that is fantastic value for money and in my opinion they are just as good if not better than pampers and huggies

And in January and July they have amazing sales but you have to get in quick because I think the secrets out! They're not the cheapest as a rule but they are well thought of and consequently stock nearly everything. I have noticed that their nappies are rarely as cheap as the supermarkets - sometimes i've been caught short in town with my toddlers! - but thank goodness there was a place in town selling nappies or I'd have been stuck. They're clean and the staff are friendly enough. No immediate parking - you'd have to use the multi-storey. There are other superdrugs which are more accessible but this is useful being in the middle of a shopping mall, so if you're spending a day shopping then they're there.
