I went to the rüt with only the knowledge that they seemed trendier than the other salons in this area, which somehow made it really appealing. When I got there, I was extremely impressed with the woodsy theme they did inside. It was chic and clean and wide open and felt very inviting. The woman who did my hair was not the owner, and I'm so mad I can't think of her name, but she was soooo friendly and accommodating. I was bringing in my 4 year old son for a trim, and she was extremely good with him and did exactly what we asked for which was to just keep it nice and long with just the ends trimmed off. Next up was me. She washed my hair and the products smelled really, really amazing, and she massaged my head and neck, which was top notch. I would probably go back for the massage alone. She used all natural products on me to smooth out and comb my extremely snarly hair out and somehow magically it was detangled. So I did end up buying the shampoo, conditioner, the leave in conditioner, and the dry oil smoothing product. They are all organic! How could I not try them?! My trim was exactly what I wanted. It's been maybe three weeks now, and I've continued to use the products and my hair has never felt healthier or shinier. Usually I can have a lot of frizziness, but for once it's under control. I finally found my salon! I can't wait to go back! I will totally be one of those "gets a trim every three months" people now that I finally have a salon I can trust. Oh, also, I was a pain in the butt and split my payment between my debit card and a gift card and it was being finicky and they were so patient with me.
