April cut my hair and did a wonderful job. During my haircut I showed her a picture of wanting to go from my highlighted hair to the popular "Nordic" blonde. She said she could of course do it. I go in for my appointment and I tell her I only have 2 and a half hours.. she said no problem. I came out of the salon with purple gray leopard yellow orange hair. I asked for a refund and she is blaming me for not having enough time!! I told her at the beginning how much time I had... if she didn't think it was enough time she should have told me to come back when I had more time. Now, I am having to go to a specialist to correct this horror show. It's extremely costly as is a correction job. Stylist cut my boyfriend's hair like this. When my boyfriend called to complain, he got reprimanded for tipping the stylist from the owner.Clearly she didn't do the best job, but he wanted a partial refund for the haircut amount as he had to go to a different salon right after.We've both worked in service industry and do not believe under any circumstances that it is ok to not tip,even if someone is having a bad day,they still performed a service. They did offer to fix his hair for free, but do not wish to step foot in a Supercuts again after how the staff spoke to us and the service. read more

This place is very unique in that you get an unadvertised 2 for 1 deal. One haircut, and included for free is a heaping scoop of condescension and unnecessary verbal garbage that ruins an otherwise normal haircut that would otherwise be forgettable. Apparently the owner of this Supercuts cut my hair. She begins the conversation by asking "Where did you get your hair cut? It is messed up and has many short and long parts." I reply, "My wife usually cuts my hair." The cosmetologist then states "I just don't want you to think I messed up your hair. I don't mean anything against your wife." Okay, at that point you said something stupid, but it was an accidental mistake. I'm a forgiving person so I thought she would be a normal human being and not pursue this line of conversation any longer. But no, the part that angered me was how she INSISTED on continuing the conversation! "Does your wife want to do cosmetology?" "You should really get your haircuts outside instead of by your wife. It would really make a difference." "We won't be able to cut your hair exactly the way it should be this time because it was messed up last time." And on and on and on. I didn't want the commentary. I just wanted a simple HAIRCUT. When I went to the register to pay my $16(!!!) I didn't give a tip and only paid the bill. She had the audacity to say "You didn't fill out everything," to which I replied, "I filled out everything I wanted to." She is clearly puzzled, and says "What about the tip?" I said "I don't want to give a tip." You would think she would let things go. But no, it seems I got the hairstylist from hell. "Do you tip people at restaurants you go to!?" And then I said "Yes, I always tip at restaurants. I also tipped my hairstylists before I met my wife." She was clearly stunned that someone was actually talking back to her. It makes me wonder how many other customers she intimidates into giving her money. In short, you insult my wife for no reason other than to make more money by getting me into Supercuts. I had an appointment for 6:45pm yesterday. Got there about 6:30 and the door was locked. Stylist, after much handwaving, comes over and unlocks the door. I explain I have an appointment. She tells me they don't take appointments. WHAT?? She finally admits they do take appointments but because she has too many walk-ins, she has to take them and doesn't have time for me before closing at 7. Super rude. Also, no haircut (not that I wanted my hair to be cut by someone with that attitude). Meh. I really needed a haircut, but it was a Sunday and my usual barber was closed. This location is really close to my house and brand new, so I thought I'd try it out. I had checked in online but that made no difference. Their computer system and cash register were both broken, so you had to write your name on a sheet and wait. I ended up waiting almost an hour which was a little frustrating. But once in the chair the experience was pretty good. My stylist was friendly and talked just the right amount. She did do a little more than I wanted done with my hair, but it looks pretty good actually. I did like the hot towel at the end, but I still had a ton of hair on me and still needed to take a shower afterwards. The prices here are much higher than a barber shop. I paid $16 plus tip...which was higher than I wanted to because the register was broken. I was really underwhelmed with this experience. It just sucked up an hour and a half out of my day, and I just had a meh feeling when it was all over. I think I'll be sticking to my usual place. read more
