You know with things being as difficult they are you have to consider yourself very lucky to go somewhere where you get a salon experience so affordably backed up with professional products and an extremely friendly environment very warm and welcoming for a lot of of us who are struggling you don't get this very often, but Supercuts especially this location gives you the advantage of all that I couldn't consider myself. Any luck here I needed a haircut badly and my appearance was almost to the point of being homeless people were offering me money. It was somewhat hilarious but when I came here in less than 20 minutes, I was able to look fresh and be given a look that made me feel professional and reinvigorated me if you really want to come here on Tuesday as known as discount day, but I'll tell you right now. It really doesn't matter what till you come because you're always gonna get an incredible value for the cup. There's a reason a lot of people love this place in today's experience. Been a customer here for at least 8 years. I've seen good stylists come and go (i.e. Tiffany from early on, no longer there). I've used Gabby and Stephanie exclusively the last several years. They are both excellent and kind. They do a good job on our regular haircuts. When the Supercuts app screws up (and often does), they are patient and helpful in rectifying a situation that is not caused by them. App experience: overall it is not good. I try to check in for myself and my son, but it leaves me wondering if both of us were confirmed. So i have to book a "backup" time slot to make certain, but this eats up the stylists' slots. Again, not my fault or theirs. It's the app and the owners of the store who fail to correct it. App sometimes has incorrect information (i.e. shampoo included with jr cut, but it's really not). Prices at this location are terrible. Regular cut has raised from $17 to $28. Also, the owners do not distribute any coupons or incentives to come here. I used to get them 5 years ago, but not anymore. The owners really drain my wallet. Music inside the store is choppy or nonexistent. I'm sure the owners could do something to fix that. They've had a new cashier system for at least two months. I now have to pay for mine and my son's haircuts on two separate transactions, which is crazy. It's 2024. Please have the owners fix this situation. **Again, Gabby and Stephanie are keeping this store afloat and are the only reasons why it's still open. I have been going to the Supercuts by Nordstrom Rack and The Home store for years over by Magic Mountain and altho they do a good job, I always have to wait l, even when I have an appointment. They also seem to always run late. It is so busy and you end up spending money at the adjacent stores while you wait. Yesterday I went to this store on Seco and they don't have anywhere to shop while you e ait for your appointment because there is NO wait! And the haircut was fantastic!! The two ladies, Ciara and Gabby were both extremely rude. One of the ladies rushed my hair work and just wanted to get her job done, without paying attention to details!!! If I did not remind her again and again, she would finish it in 3 minutes! They also lied about the Supercuts rewards program and manipulated the pricing for services. I don't write reviews often! I felt the need to do so for this one. Not so friendly staff! I just moved into the locality and walked in the previous evening and i was told it was by appointment only. Which was fine so i booked one and went back the next day morning! I have been going to supercuts for many years, but have never had a bad experience. I always get a shampoo/tea-tree experience after a haircut and they refused to do it because i had not asked for it in the appointment details. Uh oh my bad eh! I was not aware that i should have mentioned it when i booked the haircut appointment as i never had to specifically do so in the previous locations. They said they had other appointments and i was already late by a few minutes. Which is still fair enough had that been true! There was one person waiting! And 3 stylists! So i checked their appointment page as soon as i walked out and there were dime a dozen available appointments every 15 minute window! If they read this review - they can claim to be busy at the time but its a flat out lie. Would have been far better customer experience if they had been a little more gentle and accommodating! For one - the stylist did not seem too keen on providing the service i requested for and so they claimed they were busy! I called the store again and asked to speak to the manager and the lady said she was the manager and she could not do anything to help - not too politely! So much for customer service! Avoid! The stylist completely botched my hair & cut it way too short & completely uneven. My 2 & a half year old may have done a better job with her toy scissors. The stylist forgot to even trim the back of my head, so I was left with a Christmas tree shaped mullet. I couldn't return for 4 days, because I had an event out of town to attend. Everyone was politely pulling me aside telling me that my hair was very uneven & crooked. When I got back to town I walked in asking for a refund. They offered to fix it, but aside from shaving my head there is no fixing it, so I demanded a refund. With receipt in hand & a botched haircut on my head they denied my request. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS! They lost my business. Local Barbers are less costly anyway. This is definitely not a "You get what you pay for", because they charge premium rates + poor service. read more

Went in for a hair cut today and I was very disappointed with the service.  The chain now charges $25 for a standard mens haircut which makes it only $5 less then independent barbers around the immediate city.  My haircut appointment was pre scheduled though the app and the stylist was available on time... that is about the only good thing.  On to the disappointment which was the haircut itself.  I showed the stylist the haircut I wanted and she agreed.  Well 10 minutes later she did minimum effort to cut my hair or make it match my previous hairstyle.  For the price I would imagine there would be more attention to detail as looking in the mirror following the cut I notice inconsistencies along the sides and back of my hair.  Also the hair could have been better blended in. I did not expect barber matching service but I did imagine having a decent hair cut for the price.  It seems that the facility is trained to cut hair as fast as possible to get the next victim into the chair.  I will not be back and strongly suggest that others look around for alternatives before heading in to this place. read more

I went in with really low expectations as to what the outcome would be, but I needed a miracle. I was basically expecting to come out with all my hair chopped off because of how dead and mushy my hair was left after multiple home bleachings. Heather saved my hair. She was super friendly and helpful and really comforting. I got the conditioning and a cut and I loved that she really explained the process and really tried to save my hair before getting scissor happy. I left feeling relieved and hopeful for my hair. I have been to this location a good amount of times and usually don't have any issues, however, 3 weeks ago I tried to make an appointment, they had no availability and asked me to book online in the future and call when it opens that day because I wanted highlights and they need more time. So I did... I made an appt for 10:30am and called when it opened at 10am to confirm (as I was told). I was then told that there's no time (even though I had an appt) and I needed to call another day when they open (even though thats literally what I just did)... even when I followed their directions, I still could not get the services I wanted. So of course, I made a complaint and just wanted to figure out how to get my hair done (on their time) and surprisingly they "TRIED" to work with me by telling me to call Friday and speak to "Sara" (manager i was on the phone with) and she would help me out to get an appt.... once again I listened to their instructions, called the place and was told "there's no Sara here".... I've checked the number to make sure i had the right location and I even wrote the name down the day she told me... obviously I was lied to. I'm aware this place has been under new management within the last year. All I know is that I had no issues until recently. Hopefully they can fix this issue before it happens to others. I specifically came to this location based on the great reviews on Heather. I was nervous because my hair was super dry on the ends and I was desperately in need of a good haircut. The catch is my hair is super curly and I wasn't sure I wanted to take the risk of a bad haircut. Heather was so professional and accommodating. She immediately new how to cut my hair and explained everything she was doing. I'm so glad I took a chance on her because now I'll be back to cut my hair a little shorter for the summer. I hate getting my hair cut. No real reason, just one of those things. Anyway, I visited this location and had a really good experience. It's a franchise, if that matters to anyone. So, I got in right at my scheduled time. Even though there were 2 people after me and only one stylist, I was not rushed and was given personalized attention. I do not remember the stylist's name but she was the only one working on Saturday, July 14th at 11am. She understood my needs/wants and offered much needed advice. I was very happy with my experience and vowed to go more frequently than every 7 months. read more

Honestly this place is terrific, quality staff, respectful employees and very clean and organized. I live in Woodland Hills, so just so everyone understands that I went out of my way 20 miles to Santa Clarita to have Heather cut my hair means a lot. She just started there a couple months ago and is already a seasoned veteran. I went there based on great referrals and very good feedback from other people. I would definitely go again and obviously all these situations are different for eveyone, but you have to respect and appreciate overall service and quality. After reading the YELP reviews I decided to give this place a try. I told the stylist that I needed layers in my hair because the sides were starting to look like Bozo the Clown. I have a lot of hair, which was noted by the stylist, but instead of doing what I had asked she decided to layer the bottom of my hair only. And she cut the bangs. That was about it. I would have been more aware of what the stylist wasn't doing except that there was constant screaming ( loud talking) by another obnoxious stylist. And sometimes my stylist would chime in. Also in a really loud voice. Note there were no blow dryers going at the time. Just a lot of mouth flapping at an extremely high volume. These ladies were anything but gentile with their loud mouths and tattoos. Very unprofessional. I felt like I had crashed a trailer trash party. I had a headache when I left. And yes it was the stylist that most of the reviews are praising. Now I have to get my hair cut AGAIN. What a waste of time and money. The Supercuts on McBean is far better but Ambi is no longer working there so I thought that I would give this one a try. Skip it. BIG MISTAKE. read more

My son is 16 and has autism. We had been taking him to a kidz cut place where they were excellent with his behaviors. It was time to take him to a grown up place though. Heather at Supercuts did a great job. He had been fidgeting and taking his apron off and stuff but she stuck to it. Now after a few months he goes right to the chair, keeps the apron on, and the paper thing around his neck and patiently sits. :) read more

Make sure you MAKE the stylists check you in, whether they have acknowledged you or not. Sat there for 25 minutes (wasn't very busy, so didn't think they would have a problem figuring out who was next), and then some customers who had checked in online walked in and bumped us down in the queue, all while we have still not been checked in. They had taken another customer that walked in when we did and knew we weren't checked in, but still didn't put us on any list, so we had no idea that there was an online list to worry about. There is nowhere to sign in or anything, so if 50 more people had signed in online, would we be sitting there until midnight waiting for our turn? Not a very good first impression. read more
