Not the friendliest place. They prioritize online Check-in which is acceptable, I normally do online check in when I go to Supercuts. We were curious about this locations since it's nearby and it's not as busy as the Supercuts we normally go to (now I know WHY it's NOT busy) They had a stylist who was free and decided not to accommodate my wife. They decided to also speak in their own native tongue - which I find rude in a business establishment. Another person came in who also did online check in and they're prioritized him. DO NOT go here. They just want your money and disrespect you. On 4/1 I made an appointment at 3:15 for a tea tree scalp treatment since I was around the area and broke my finger nail that I couldn't wash my hair at home. Arrived 15 mins early to check in. I was waiting until 3:30 finally someone was able to take and walk me to the hair washing station. However, I got turned back to wait in the lobby for more without an estimate time since I only wanted scalp treatment and didn't want to do any add-ons like keratin treatment, haircut, and deep conditioning etc. Then, they started taking hair cut walk-ins and kept making me wait in the lobby. What's the point of appointment if I have to wait more than an hour? They just want your money. If you just want a simple hair wash, they will look you down and trash talk you in Vietnamese. read more

Someone mentioned they prioritize online check-ins but that is the exact opposite. I checked in for a 3:15 haircut and ended up waiting over an hour on a calm day. Why did I wait so long? Because they accepted two walk-ins who came AFTER me before they even bothered to ask what my name was. Robert, my hair stylist took care of giving me the best look. I had a worst experience in another business locally where the hair stylist created a mess out of my low dense semi bald hair. So I tried Supercuts since my wife is a regular here. I talked about this to Robert and he not only is a good listener, but also explained courteously about the best look he can give for me. I had great and pleasant experience throughout here. I highly recommend this location to everyone. They do offer online booking and also walk-ins. Just check in at the touch screen and they will call you by the token number. Every other stylist I noticed here today we're calm and patient adding to the pleasant feel and ambience. This used to be my favorite place to get a haircut but things have changed for the worse ever since there has been a change in ownership. Prices are higher at this location compared to any other Supercuts and they no longer have any perks or discounts available for customers. The employees are underpaid and unappreciated. This location used to be busy, but not anymore. I'm sure the new owner removing senior citizen discounts and frequent flyer cards has something to do with it. Some of the best stylists have quit and they told me the reason why on my prior visits: The owner. They even have to open late on Wednesdays because the owner doesn't want to risk paying anyone overtime. The previous owner would give bonuses to the employees and holiday pay, the current owner does NOT, instead he gives them an earful if they ever clock out past 7, I regardless of if they are busy with a client or not! Apparently, he owns 18 other locations, so if you want to know which ones to avoid, call in and ask how much they charge for a standard Supercut. You'll know he's the owner if they are the highest priced location you called. read more

Worst experience I've ever had in a barbershop. The lady who helped me was extremely rude and it looked like she was in a rush for whatever reason. She was very impatient and didn't even let me finish explaining my demand. The whole process took less than 15 minutes, the outcome was meh and she even cut my back neck with the scissors once. The finished haircut didn't even look symmetrical at first. I asked her to fix the problem but she didn't seem to understand what I was saying. I was terribly exhausted. Front desk was also very unprofessional, it probably took a longer time for them to find my appointment in the system than actually do my haircut. I asked for a receipt but no, they didn't even know how to print a receipt. Awfully terrible place and absolutely don't recommend anyone who cares their hairstyle to go here. read more

I don't think they know how to cut hair here. All four of us went for hair cuts. My daughter couldn't get a haircut because she was so uncomfortable from their brushing. I had to come home and cut some more for all my family members (and I don't have proper training). Communication was a huge issue. Overall not happy with service nor results. I've been going there for years and always ask for Robert. But I'm not the only one as I would rather wait than see anyone else. He cuts fast and always gives me the results of a $100 stylist that I used to visit. I only go and see Robert. He's not there everyday, so I always call up before I go over or call ad ask when he's working. The man does magic in 10 minutes that I used to pay over 4x as much and took nearly an hour! In the past few months, Robert suggested that I try a shampoo that they sell there. It wasn't cheap, but I trusted Robert and boy was he right. I am not sure if I was using a pet shampoo previously, but what he suggested and what I bought over at SuperCuts was about 3x what I am used to spending for shampoo and conditioners, but with the products that they sold there, I ended up with results that were 5x better than before and the best looking and feeling hair that I have ever recalled having. Robert, you are the best for your product suggestions and my only regret is that I didn't follow your advice months ago. So, my simple words of advice: 1) Call and make sure Robert is working when you want to go in 2) Go in and Only allow Robert to cut your hair 3) Ask him about what shampoo and conditioner he would recommend 4) Take his recommendation. Buy the product. 5) Get over the shock of the price. You are worth it, and it is THAT good! 6) Enjoy the best looking haircut you ever had 7) After a month, enjoy the best looking and feeling hair you ever had 8) Repeat cycle. GoTo Step 1. It was a horrible mistake to come to this place!I would give it ZERO stars. It would take me two pages to write the whole bad experience however I will summarize it for sake of my own sanity. I usually take my daughters to a different salon but since we were strapped for time and couldn't get appointments before our trip, I decided to take them to Supercuts since it was closest location. After initial confusion over whether we had checked in, Jackie decided she was going to take us on. She seemed irritated and annoyed and transferred that energy to my 10year old's haircut- who actually filled me in on how horrible the experience was for her! The lady yanked her hair very badly and was very rude- snickered and made comments on how she wants long hair but does not take care of it. The apron around the neck was tight- and my daughter being a shy (and kind!) did not say anything until after we got home!!! We had specifically asked for one layer - and we just got a trim. At the end of the cut, she simply said you are done- not even bother to brush the hair or blow dry it. On top of this she asked for cash for tip and since I didn't have any (really did not!) I was forced to give her the minimum of $5 on the credit card screen. In hindsight, I think I should have stopped her walked out when she started brushing my daughter's hair aggressively but for some reason thought the rest of the service would be better. I would like my money back! The receipt says satisfaction is guaranteed- really?? Then DO refund my money. Lesson for our family: - I should wait for an appointment at our trusted salon where I get better service for only $5 more and most of all interactions are pleasant and kind. I've been coming here for many years, but the last handful of times (including this morning), we've used the online checking "system" , arrived before out time slot, and had to wait over 30 minutes to get started. The hairstylists working the day of this incident were Linda and Sherry (Shahrzad). PLEASE avoid them as they provided me with a poor quality haircut and garbage customer service. I will never go back to this location again and I implore anyone else to please save yourself the hassle and poor service there and go to literally any other location. This location has always been average in terms on quality, but today I got the worst haircut there. It wasn't until I got home and washed my hair that I realized that they had used the thinning shears poorly and left a large piece of the top of my head almost bare. I went back to the location to tell them of the poor quality of my haircut and the stylist insisted that she hadn't done that. She said she only sheared near the very top of my hair but I responded that I distinctly remember her shearing near the base of my scalp and that I did not wake up this morning with a nearly shaven spot in the middle of my head. She fought back that she hadn't cut my hair in that manner but she was 100% responsible for my bad haircut and she refused to acknowledge it. The other hairstylist working there that day said that I could style it a different way to hide it until it grew back normally. I did not want to style my mistake of a haircut differently - I wanted them to own up to the mistake instead of arguing with me and brushing me off. I normally go to the Supercuts on Prospect in Campbell. I'm a senior and normally pay $13 plus tip but this employee quoted me $22. I thought all Supercuts charged the same. Couldn't even understand the blonde lady cutting my hair. She had big glasses. Waiting for about 45 minutes for a trim. I asked for a trim with shampoo and blow dry and assumed the blow dry would cost about the same as the shampoo. No one told me the price. Blow dry was $50 wtf and took over an hour to wash, cut my hair one inch, and blow dry. When she was washing my hair she scrubbed the dye out of my hair and got my face shirt and arms all wet. 10/10 will not go back again read more

Just moved to the Cupertino area and this was my first time at a Supercuts. Upon reaching the store, one of the hair stylist, Linda, greeted me very warmly and explain to me the whole process for appointments and hair cutting. My experience from there was nothing but great. Not only did she gave me a great hair cut, she also made me feel very welcomed. Half of the time, I forgot I was even getting a haircut because of how welcoming she made the environment was. She also was able to give me recommendations for haircuts that fit my facial features as well as products to match the hair (definitely a plus since I feel many hair stylist know what looks best for each different individual). Overall, my experience was very nice thanks to the staff there. Highly recommend this place if you want friendly staff and warm environment. :) read more

Absolute worst haircut I've had in my entire life. Place is totally deserted so I'm attended to immediately. I request a clipper cut, say my usual numbers, and I'm told, "I'm going to use the scissors on the top." I should have hopped out of the chair and walked out but I figured the stylist meant she was going to do a little trimming in addition. So she begins, and ends up spending almost 20 minutes slowly trimming away the back and sides with a clipper, seemingly a hair at a time. Then she moves to start trimming the rest, sure enough, with her fingers and scissors - about 30 minutes doing that. She leaves a big area on one side pretty much untouched, but before I can say anything - boom, big blob of mousse in my hair. At this point I cut my losses and got the hell out of there - it had already been almost an hour, I wasn't going to spent more time there to have her wash that gunk out and try to fix the problem. I don't care how great a stylist you are, if you don't make some attempt to do what your client asks then you aren't worth anything. I've only been getting my hair cut a similar way for like 30 years. It takes 15 - 20 minutes - not almost an hour. If I say I want my hair buzzed, then buzz my damn hair. I'm not fussy about my hair, I don't have a complex hairstyle - two levels buzzed and blended - but you know, you actually have to DO WHAT I REQUEST to get that result. As for the mousse - ASK FIRST! If I came in without any product in my hair, chances are I want to leave without any product in my hair. I could be allergic to it for all you know. Not to mention it was almost 90 degrees outside - I really don't want that mystery slime melting down on my head. It's been my experience that with men's hair, stylists use product to cover up their incompetence. Thankfully I was able to salvage it with my own trimmer, and yup, there was a whole area that basically wasn't trimmed. My hair grows evenly, so the thought behind leaving one side (WAY DOWN BY MY EAR) untouched and then attempting to mousse it up the other direction is beyond my comprehension. My hair came in even and clean and left clumpy and choppy. And of course the sideburns aren't straight - I don't know how she did that, I mean the trimmer is flat. I will NEVER set foot in this location again. I may NEVER go to a Supercuts location ever again. That's a shame, as per reading other reviews there are apparently some really great stylists here. If the location manager reads this - you need to train your employees to listen to their client's request FIRST - then make a suggestion if they desire - but remember it's their client's hair and ultimately their decision. Absolute worst dye job I have ever gotten, I went it the first time wanting to go from black to brown and she made my hair extremely patchy and then dyed it a dark black and left my hair the same Color it was at when I came in. I then came in a second time and she bleached my hair and made it an extremely brassy orange with a huge patch of black and they still charged me $95. I never leave bad reviews at places but I was extremely upset at the service and the terrible dye job. I had to go to another salon and pay an additional $200 to fix what Supercuts messed up. I've put off downloading Yelp, but have now just gotten it to let people know about this place. One of the worst cuts I've gotten in my life. Uneven on both sides and the stylist didn't seem to know about different razor sizes for the sides. When it came time to pay, I was asked how much tip I wanted to add by the person cutting my hair (which I found very uncomfortable) and which I gave as a percentage. She knowingly added much more to the tip than what I said, rounding up a couple dollars for safe measure. But, Robert will get you in and out of there in 15 minutes and it'll look like a $150 "stylist" had been working on you for hours. Yup - he's just that good. It's amusing, because when I go there, it's like lots of the people seem to come in an request Robert and only Robert! His customers have followed him wherever he goes!
