The last time I was in, I wasn't thrilled with the manager. Needing a hair cut last night, I dropped by; peeking in to see if she was there. She wasn't. That meant I could go in without dealing with her. I got Ashlie, for a 2nd time. She completely redeemed the store for me because she is so attentive and does such a good job. This review isn't for me but for my boyfriend. He went here after work yesterday looking for a straight forward haircut. He showed the hairstylist what he wanted and she looked at it and said no problem and that she "loves doing fades". She proceeded to cut his hair and what he came walking out with was the farthest from the photo he came in with. His hair looks like it was shaved by a five year old on the sides and the top of his hair looks like a bad toupee. She was apparently chatty the entire time, talking herself up and when he mentioned that the finished product wasn't what he was looking forward she suddenly stopped talking. She then muttered something about it being impossible to get his hair to look like the picture because "his hair isn't the same color so there's no way it can compare"... that's the stupidest thing I've ever heard. First off, why didn't she say something in the beginning instead of agreeing and two, his hair is literally the same shade. My bf has always had a decent experience here but this was the last time. Clearly this woman fooled everyone because she doesn't know how to cut hair. The kicker? She never once told him her name.. bummer. read more

Well... You get what you pay for. Today I went in for a haircut asked for a few inches off about to shoulder length and asked for curtain bangs but what did I get? I got the worst bangs i've ever had and they are way too short on my forehead and I look absolutely awful. If you're looking for a good haircut or even just what you asked for don't go here. I even showed the guy a picture as a reference and he really kinda just did what he wanted to. Nice person but not a good person to go to for a specific haircut. I wouldn't normally write a review for my run of the mill haircut, but I feel I should just because places like Supercuts sometimes get a bad rap as the place to get cheap haircuts. In my opinion, they're better than that. The lobby was clean and comfortable, the music selection was great (a good mix of current hits and some classic Queen for good measure!), and the prices were right. I paid $16 for a standard haircut. The stylist was really nice, chatted with me but wasn't annoying by any means, got me in and out in no time, and even gave me some extra stamps towards earning a free cut. I walked away with the exact haircut I had asked for. All in all a good experience and I'll be back next time I start looking shaggy! :) read more

Set my appointment online and when I arrived, Jean was ready for me. I showed her photos of what I wanted and she asked me questions to make sure she understood. She gave me EXACTLY what I envisioned! Also, she's a music lover and she and I ended up singing (through our masks) to classic rock! So it was Haircut Karaoke. I just got a haircut here that was quite satisfactory... and let's be real, that's what you're looking for if you're seriously considering a haircut at Supercuts. My men's short haircut was $16 (no wash, but if you want a wash that option exists). I had no appointment and didn't have to wait. The woman who cut my hair was pleasant and did a good job. They even topped the whole experience off with a tea tree oil scented warm towel. Overall, it was a great experience for a place that is generally unremarkable. I can't speak to coloring or women's haircuts or how they do when the stakes are high for very important occasions... but for a cheap cut for a casual guy on a whim, I'd say go for it. read more

My experience has been very hit or miss here. I get a very simple cut (I have long hair that I usually just have trimmed every so often, minimal layers, no color) and my hair cuts have always been good enough. Definitely nothing to get excited about. My reason for the 3 star is the woman, who seems to be the manager, can be extremely condescending and generally unpleasant to deal with. She's been rude to me on several occasions, turned me away 45 minutes before closing because there was a person ahead of me (even though they clearly state that their policy is to accept customers right up until closing), and has generally made me uncomfortable by trash talking employees and other customers in my presence. It's to the point where I leave when I see that I may have to endure another hair cut by her. Everyone who's cut my hair with the exception of that one woman have been super friendly. read more

I've gone to this location a few times and have had a bad experience each time. Once I tried to get a root bleach 3 hours before closing and four women sat around making excuses on why that wouldn't be enough time to complete the process. Meanwhile they are all sitting reading books. This time I went and asked for a shampoo and blow out. I waiting 30 minutes only to be told at the shampoo bowl that super cuts doesn't do any services on hair with extensions! Meanwhile I'm at super cuts at mall 205 getting a shampoo and blow out. This location on Cesar Chavez is horrible they are so lazy and it's obvious they do not want to be there. read more

The dude had no idea what he was doing. The girl working next to him even asked wth he was doing and apologized to me profusely. Went in for a haircut with pictures to show them exactly what I wanted. It looked fine till I went home, dried my hair and straightened it and saw the back of my head which was butchered. I called and went back in to get it fixed. The hairdresser tried to fix it twice, but it looked even worse. Finally another hairstylist tried. She fixed the crookedness, but it wasnt the haircut I wanted. I went in with long hair looking for a long a-line and came out with very short hair that was too dramatic for me and not my style. It looked like I had fins. I came home and actually cried, because it took a long time to grow my hair out that length. Hair will grow out, but its going to blow till it does. read more

Hazelle is the best! She is so personable, kind, and fun to talk to, and gets my hair perfect every time! If she's not there and I desperately need my hair cut, she leaves notes under my account on what she does to my hair so it's always done well no matter what! It's clear this store in particular has strong training in customer service skills. Everyone is so nice! Mona cut my hair last and she did a great job. Both her and Hazelle helped me find the perfect upkeep for my hairstyle too, and let me know of any discounts and promotions upcoming, as products can be a little spendy. In general, I have ALWAYS been satisfied with my customer experience at Supercuts, but specifically, everytime I get a compliment on my hair I refer everyone to this particular store as it is my favorite! read more

I have never had such a bad attitude from a stylist. I'm not one who really understands fashion or haircuts in the slightest sense, and I normally leave it up to the person cutting my hair. The woman who cut my hair today could not be more annoyed with my ignorance to styling. As soon as I said to do whatever looks good she grabbed her trimmer and buzzed my hair down in what was quite possibly the quickest and most uncomfortable haircut I've ever had. She started cutting. .and yak,yak,yak about her epilepsy (went on and on about her problems. ..I was getting so nervous .. she cut on my right side & just kept cutting & cutting.
