I got an amazing haircut today. The lady looked at the picture and nailed it! I told the lady that I had dreadlocks for years and just wanted something new. She said, " I am not a fan of dreadlocks. One time I had a girl braid my hair and I told her no wonder black women are so angry, their head hurts from them braids." just WOW! When I addressed the insult. She proceeded to tell me that she joked with her black friends all the time and she gets along with everyone. Just WOW! At least her ignorance didn't affect her hair cutting skills. read more

I needed a pick me up today and so, on suggestion from a friend, I made an appt with Elizabeth. She was an absolute joy to have cut,color,shampoo and style my hair. She wasn't feeling too great today either but still put 100% in! I loved my color, style and overall experience I had there. My children usually see Tiffany there and she is great as well..as is Rashida, Tracey and Tawanna They all go above and beyond! Just because its a chain doesn't mean they aren't professional or inexperienced. Give them a try, I promise you won't be disappointed. Just realize Saturdays they are slammed and even though you check in online, doesn't mean you wont have to wait. They get super busy but always check on you and make you confortable. Made an appointment per the request in the website. Arrived at my scheduled time, upon entering the establishment I was told I would be seated u til nearly 2 hours after my appointment time. I indicated I made an appointment, I was then told to have a seat and it would be sooner. 15 minutes later I see people signing in, my name clearly on the board. Another patron who didn't make an appointment but complained about being here for 30 mins was seated. I inquired about needing to sign in and was then told yes. Watching a second, third, and fourth person go before me nearly an hour waiting and still not seated. I understand there is a labor shortage, I understand we cannot control the world around us. What I do have a problem with is going through the trouble of making an appointment, arriving promptly for said appointment and then being misled about being seen in a reasonable time. Unacceptable, don't bother with appointments if you'll take walk ins and not stick to the appointment. Abysmal service, if you have nothing but time and want to be completely ignored by all means come to Supercuts. Otherwise I would recommend finding a salon that actually values its patrons. read more

If you are looking for an affordable, get it done hair cut. This is your place. Well organized so wait isn't that long but most people are just getting regular trims and cuts. As a beautician I feel like it's a requirement to have people skills. I just don't understand, when you're cutting hair for a living & people walk into your store how you feel it's acceptable to treat people like they are an inconvenience to you. I brought my son here for the 2nd time, (everyone is entitled to a bad day, but Jeez) This woman walked away as we signed in as she was walking away asked if were walking ins. Proceeded to go to the back to order pizza for 10 min, no Shame bc she asked the barber there if he'd like pizza too. Then comes out and asks very dry "ok whatcha want" I said "short on the sides and keep it long up top" her response is "ok, but what number " IM A FEMALE!! A MOTHER not a beautician!! I said I'm not sure of the number , she sucked her teeth!! And proceeded to ask again. I asked would a 2 be too short. She said " ok2" I'm just blown away!!!! No personality & seemed as though she was just miserable! All while the barber next to her is having a full blown lovely conversation with his customer. Worst haircut I've ever had. Thought it was a tipoff when stylist took 5 minutes to untangle her equipment and get all of her clipper attachments in order. She then took 15 minutes to ruin my haircut and then another 30 minutes to try and even things out, to no avail. Even my son, who had completed his haircut and was watching, thought she was giving me a bowl cut (which was NOT what I had asked for). I will never go back to this salon. read more

They cut my hair in about 5 minutes. Cut was uneven and shorter than I wanted. No layering despite asking that they cut so that it would naturally curl under. The stylist said that she could not cut hair that way and that I would need to use a hair blower and brush to accomplish this. Odd, because it normally curls under if cut right. read more

Worst place ever! I brought my 75 year old mother in, and the women took one look at her and pawned her off on the new guy. We had an appointment. I showed him several pictures of how she wanted it cut (front, side and back) and also explained in great detail that she liked it longer in the front and down over her ears and layered in the back. He just kept cutting and cutting and would recut over and over and over. It came out like a super short bowl cut and and was up and over her ears! It was hideous! He blew it out with a round brush, then straightened it, then curled it, repeating many of these over and over as well. It went on forever! He also did her color, and I am fairly certain he had not done many before. Also a terrible job, (her gray stilled showed) not to mention that it was not even close to what we asked for. I should have complained then, but I did not want to upset my mother at the time. Frederick might need to go back to school a little longer! The only good thing about it was the price, which wasn't worth a nickel after that fiasco! I guess you truly get what you pay for. read more

Horrible Service. I went in thinking you will be paying $20 plus a tip (it's supercuts after all) and I ended up spending $60 dollars. I asked for a deep conditioning, assuming I was getting the $10 advertised. She goes on to describe the process in great detail (I am still under the assumption that I am getting the $10 conditioning) next thing I know I am getting a bill for 60 bucks. She gave me the $30 conditioning w/o my consent. Not a happy experience and on top of a small purchase and a trim my bill cost over 20 dollars more than expected. Will NEVER return. Be careful because all they want is your money read more
