This salon has some excellent stylists. Men's cuts, kids cuts, women's styles and even color. I highly recommend Josepina and Raquel. They have been my go to stylists. But there are more excellent ones at this location. read more

Had a great haircut with a new (to me) stylist and I love my new do. Her name is Marcie. She did a great job I. My humble opinion. Wasn't sure what I wanted and Marcie helped based on my hair texture. read more

If I could give zero Stars I absolutely would....... Worst haircut I ever got even showed the girl a picture then when I told her how bad it looked she proceeded to tell me it was cuz my hair was wavy when I have bone straight hair plus I asked her to angle my hair and have the tip of it to my chin she cut it to my cheekbone then on top of it she was completely rude about it offered no kind of coupon no kind of refund or even asking anybody else to see if they could attempt to fix it worse money I have ever spent in my entire life I will never ever ever recommend anybody else to go to this place every friend I meet and person I know I will convince them to never ever go to this hair salon the girl had a complete and total attitude and it's unacceptable very very unhappy customer read more

Would be nice not to wait an hour for a 10min haircut. Why allow people to make an "appointment" if you don't even adhere to them.

Josefina has always done an excellent job in cutting and styling my hair. She is always asking me exactly what I want done. Before she starts cutting she asks once again, and will show me the amount of hair she will take off. I always get compliments on my hair. read more

Wish I could give negative stars for this location: I made an appointment online with Raquel for 3:20 PM on 1/24/2025, at the East Brunswick, NJ, location. No one greeted me or even acknowledged my arrival at 3:17. The two hair cutters were busy with customers and two customers were waiting. When Raquel was finally finished with her current customer at 3:35 PM, she was staring at the register screen for about two minutes and I expected her to call me for my appointment. When she did not, I approached her and asked her if she had me down for a haircut at 3:20. She said yes, she had an appointment for me at 3:20, but that she had one haircut ahead of me. Understand that this was already 15 minutes past my scheduled appointment! No apology. No explanation. When I told her that I didn't have time to wait for her to take another customer before me, she merely dismissed me with a deadpan "Okay", so I left without getting my hair cut. I chalked my wasted 20 minutes up to unprofessional behavior and poor business practices. I make it a point to be on time for appointments, but Raquel apparently was not concerned that I had scheduled my visit online or that she was taking walk-ins ahead of scheduled appointments which shows a disregard for other peoples' time. Why offer online appointments at all when the staff does not observe the schedule? I have previously had positive experiences at the Monmouth Junction, NJ, location where they observe and value online appointments. The unprofessional behavior at the East Brunswick Super Cuts location was certainly an education and left me wondering how staff like Raquel is allowed to mistreat customers with such rudeness. I am also puzzled why this Super Cuts location offers online appointments when the staff disregards appointments made in advance. I will no longer visit this Super Cuts location and this bad experience makes me wonder how this store makes money when staff like Raquel mistreats customers. Definitely NOT RECOMMENDED !!! read more

The staff Josefina was not professional n she did hair cut wort n she was very in hurry. Not paying attention just cutting hair in rush. Won't recommend n won't go back again. Zero star.. read more

Got my hair cut here for the first time today. I called before getting there and they put me on a waitlist. It wasn't busy when I got there. They checked me in and took me within 5 minutes of getting there. The soaps they use smell amazing and made my hair feel super soft. My cut came out amazing and same with my blow up! I think I found a new place to get my hair cut at! read more

Angelica is more than 5 stars! My usual stylist was unavailable and I was going on a vacation. I really needed a cut. I was so nervous. After searching Yelp I decided to give Supercuts a chance. The first stylist said she was not comfortable to give me such a complicated cut when I showed her the pic. She recommended Angelica and I was so appreciative for her honesty. Says a lot about their integrity. I waited for Angelica and my haircut was perfect.....one of the best I've had using the same picture for more than 2years. I have found a new stylist!!! read more

My son had an appointment with Rachel. Most horrible experience I can say .It took her 1 hr n 15 minutes to give one simple haircut and my whole family waiting in the car in this hot weather. CRAZY CRAZY EXPERIENCE !! NEVER EVER GOING BACK!!! read more

Got a haircut today. Walked in at and asked for a trim. Apparently that means a shaved head in the language of the young lady who gave me my haircut. Perhaps the worst haircut I have ever received ever and I mean ever did I say ever? Several people have taken a look at my head and said "what happened?" That is my review. I have no idea what happened. When I asked the young woman for a trim she put a razor trim head on a trimmer and began shaving my head. Whether I liked it or not there you have it. RUN AWAY FROM THIS PLACE FOR A HAIRCUT. DISINTERESTED STAFF WHO ARE CLUELESS but know how to charge you for their horrid absolutely horrid work. read more

First time to have my haircut in this location. Easy to find the salon, it's between Starbucks and Five Guys. Sandra did a great job with my hair, I loved it. I was relaxed and pampered with the service I got. I like my hair cut with layers & the blow dry did give volume to my hair since I have fine straight hair. Will definitely come back here again, highly recommended. read more

I was nervous to see how this place would turn out, since this chain is doing terribly in other locations. However, this is actually a great barbershop. The staff is super friendly, and gave me a great haircut. She even did it how I liked my hair. Not too short, and to go around the ears. The wait was a bit long, but it was definitely worth it. The place feels a bit claustrophobic for its location. Seats were way too close together, with not a lot of space in the waiting room. The barber made a slight mistake, when using the blow dryer, when I told her not to. But, she was very nice and apologized. This is a great barber. read more

I love coming to Supercuts in East Brunswick to get my hair done. I used to go to super dumb expensive salons, but realized that I get the same customer service and experience here. Shadije is especially great. I literally never get hair cuts but I trusted her enough to give me a trim after 2.5 years. Also, she gives me amazing blowouts. I don't know how she gets my dead ends to look alive again lol. Thanks Shadije! read more

Got the best haircut of my life today at Supercuts! No more overpriced salons for me. This Supercuts has all the same services for a much more affordable price. The interior is nicely decorated, very upscale looking, and the people here are friendly and welcome you when you walk in. Shadije did my hair and I love how she understood just how to cut it to perfectly complement my face shape. I'm shooketh! And totally coming back! read more

Waited over 50 mins past our appointment time and finally left. I would definitely not return to wait like that for what would have probably been a very mediocre haircut. Go somewhere else! read more

I needed a last-minute haircut and color and decided to try this SuperCuts since my regular salon was booked. I have curly hair, which can be tricky, but Autumn gave me one of the best haircuts I've ever had, introduced me to balayage and gave me a whole new look. I've received so many compliments and everyone is asking where I had my hair done. Thanks so much, Autumn! I'll definitely be back. read more

This is probably my favorite place to get a haircut. Jen is so helpful every time I go that a keeps me coming back. By the way, everyone here is nice! read more

Great stylists! Well kept location, with a nice selection of products in a new plaza. It is well worth the travel if you are not local! Jen is the best! I highly recommend the tea tree scalp massage, as it will leave you with a fresh clean feeling. And the prices are really affordable! read more

FYI--If you are using the Supercuts app for this location (in East Brunswick) be aware that it doesn't always list the names of their more experienced stylists. So, needing a haircut, I called ahead of time to ask if my stylist would be in and to confirm what hours she would be there working. I'm not local. Upon arrival, I was then informed that the stylist I wanted "just left" and I would have to stick around for an hour or more to wait for my haircut with my stylist of choice. In my opinion there seems to be a deliberate effort to pair customers with less experienced stylists at this location. read more

The new place in the neighborhood is very pleasant. The people are pleasant and efficient. The store is clean and well lit.

Shadije was great. A customer came in and was upset that his regular stylist left. He became irate, and she handled it calmly and with professionalism. And I got a great cut! Thanks Shadije!! read more

First time at this location.... Service was friendly.... It's address is. Listed as Race Track Road but it's really on RT 18 South...

Visited this location based on the yelp reviews. Turned out to be completely opposite to what the reviews say. My stylist completely botched my haircut. Grossly uneven haircuts on the side visible to the naked eye. Uneven lengths at the top. Very unhappy. On my way to a real barbershop to fix the bad job they did. Pleasant staff but the cut not worth the 20$. Save your money and go to a real barber if you're looking for a legit cut. Definitely won't be returning. read more

I asked for ash blonde highlights touch-up which was about 2 inches on the top of my head and they gave me an entire new color on my hair which was a yellow honey color, which I didn't ask for. Very disappointed. When I told her that was not what I asked for she said it's the same color you had last time. I have a photo it's not the same color. It was not even the same color I walked in there with. Then she tried to prove to me they didn't have the color I asked for because it was missing from the book. Why the lies? Say sorry and fix it. It's their job. It took about 5 hours sitting with a mask on and while I was sitting there, I overheard other young male clients not satisfied with their cuts and they were told 'I can't do that because it won't look right', The same stylist when answering the phone was very rude to whomever was calling saying we can't take you, call back. I believe if a client is asking for a special cut or color and is paying for it, they should get what they are asking for. Another time (Friday) when I went there I was told to make an appointment, but the store was empty. I read reviews about this place and thought they were better than this. I was very patient and very disappointed with the people who were working there. I ended up not getting the highlights I wanted, but had to pay close to $300.00. I will never go there again. It's very sad when in this time when people are all struggling to find happiness in this covid world that others take advantage. read more

Had an amazing experience cutting my hair today. They are way better than a high end salons out there. Have had NUMEROUS pleasant experiences with stylist Julie! She's an absolute pleasure and as someone who usually prefers a silent haircut she is able to keep friendly conversation and I actually feel involved in the hair cutting process. She also recommended me an excellent Paul Mitchell product that keeps me looking sharp in between visits. Highly recommend!!! read more

I brought my daughter for a trim. As there was no wait time I decided to get my hair cut as well. My daughter needed her ends cut..about an inch or two. The operator squirted her hair to dampen it. She snipped it put the blow dryer on it for about 1 minute and was done. The girl who did my hair was worse. She did not ask if I wanted my hair washed, just spritzed it..it was not even wet and snipped the ends. She never combed it through or anything...and I have thick layered hair. Less then 1 minute with the blow dryer and done. No combing or styling. Charged $40 for the k...i2 cuts for myself and 11 yo daughter. We were in and out in probably 20 minutes. Ridiculous. I can honestly say this was the absolute worst hair experience I have had...this is the first haircut I have ever gotten that my hair wasnt washed. Their biggest concern was that they could not connect to the wifi in the shop. Do yourself a favor and stay away from this shop. Only gave 1 star because you cant give less. read more
