So, it's Supercuts- I mean, how high are your expectations? It was decent. I came in as a walk-in. The hairdresser took me before her scheduled clients, which was cool. It got to the point I told her what I wanted but also said that I understand she had other people to get to. Did not feel appreciated as a client who did tip her. The business itself is fine. But the lady that cut my hair was so rude and rough! She has blonde shortish hair and is pretty slim(I believe her name was Alice, Ashley, something of that nature. I might be wrong about the name but I sure remember what she looks like!) I would try and avoid her if you go here. I don't know if she had a bad day or maybe she was just discriminatory against me, but her attitude was awful. She was not only very rough in brushing and cutting my hair, but was trying to get through it as quick possible. If you're having a bad day, or if you're a jerk of a person, take it out on a punching bag at home. Not on my head and hair lady! I try to be understanding of people, but every time I think back to this moment, I can't help but think that being a bitch is just part of her personality. I don't know why she is working at this job if she is going to be awful about it, especially towards clients. Customer service is really important and unfortunately I did not have a good experience with her. To the owners, one rotten employee can make you lose a lot of money and customers. Similarly, one amazing employee can generate a lot of income and customers. I highly recommend you reconsider this employee and look at her history. Do a retraining or something. read more

After receiving a horrible haircut at another location, customer care scheduled an appointment for me with Rynae. The damage by the previous stylist included: cut was uneven by an inch between my left and right side (of the face), some strands of hair were longer than most, and hair was not layered at all as I had asked. Rynae was friendly and apologetic about the service I received previously. She made sure I received the cut that I had originally asked for, checking with me along the way to ensure that I would be satisfied with my haircut. The final product was 5 stars! Horrible service! Arrived around 10:30am on Thursday, December 22nd- Rynae, supposedly the manager, from what I've read in the reviews, didn't even greet me. By the time I got in the seat, she was already upset I didn't have an appointment. Giving me attitude early in the morning, like geez... who wants to deal with that? I could understand if I was being rude, but I was completely generous and patient, and taken back by her rudeness. If I was rude, then by all means be combative with me, but this wasn't the case at all. She was frustrated right when I got in the seat complaining and mumbling to herself that she doesn't have time for walk-ins because someone called in sick today, and she's overwhelmed for the Holiday. How is this my fault? First of all, I'm not even looking for a phone call back, not looking for a free haircut, not looking for Raynae to be written up or anything like that but her position as a manager was completely unprofessional, rude, condescending, arrogant, and she definitely needs to take a customer service class. I'll never visit this location again. When I asked for a "0" on the sides, and told her where I wanted it, she completely gave me attitude and told me that was too high and I should do it lower so it would be easier for her to blend my hair. I'm sorry, is this your haircut? Or mine? Then she asked me how much I wanted trimmed at the top and I said about an inch, and she said well "just so you know, after I take off an inch, and you want it any shorter, that's not gonna happen, cause that's considered two haircuts and they don't allow us to do 2 haircuts." At this point, she just sounded very short tempered. Extremely horrible service! Her position as manager definitely needs to be looked into as she is representing a multi million dollar establishment for the company. At the end of the day, if you don't like your job, quit. Plain and simple. It's people like us why you even have a job. Someone in the corporate office will be hearing about this and she definitely needs to tone it down a notch, and actually acknowledge the customer and what kind of haircut they want, instead of trying to rush the customer out of the seat cutting the hair the way she wants. She needs to be humbled by corporate. I hope she reads this and understands, that's not the way you treat customers. read more

I rarely ever go to this place to get a haircut because of all the horror stories I hear from friends. Although, this time I was super desperate for a trim and didn't have enough money to afford my normal stylist. I regret taking the chance after this visit. Even though I didn't want her to shampoo I still expected her to get my hair wet with water spray. She proceeded to cut my hair dry because she said I had a lot of hair. This was the first time I've ever heard of that but figured it wouldn't hurt since it was just a trim. She left the front left section of my hair longer than the rest and I didn't even notice until I got home and washed and brushed my hair. I'm so appalled at how she was able to mess up just a trim. I had gone to this location previously and wasn't impressed with the rushed, overpriced haircut, however, I found a coupon online for $2 off a haircut so I decided I would try them again. When I went in, there were three people waiting and no customers. When they approached I asked them about the coupon and was quickly told they wouldn't honor it but asked "do you still want a haircut?" I said no, I would go to Sports Clips where they value business and appreciate having customers. I had to wait in front of about 10 people at Sports Clips but it was worth the wait and they did honor an online coupon I had for them. With so many hair places in the area, you'd think Super Cuts would want business. All the neighboring places are full and they are over there with the crickets. I've had some interesting experiences at this Supercuts, but I felt compelled to write a review after my visit yesterday. I always went to Supercuts and colored my hair from a box until I got married. Then, I started going to a pretty expensive salon in Simi Valley. Last year I moved to Canyon Country and did not have the energy to go out and find a new fancy salon, so I've been going to this Supercuts. The first time I went there, the lady cut my bangs way too short... but they turned out pretty cute and the rest of the cut was great. The second time, a different lady cut my hair and one side had a noticeably longer piece than the other side that I ended up cutting off myself. I'm a teacher and I'm on summer vacation and I really wanted to get my hair done with highlights. I called around to three other salons near my house, all of which did not answer the phone... so I decided the cheapest option, since my money situation is a little tight during summer, would be Supercuts. I was kind of scared. I even googled "highlights at Supercuts" to see if anyone had them done and how it went. I couldn't find much, so I sucked it up and went. I am very happy with the outcome. Although I've had some not-so-amazing experiences at this Supercuts, I received beautiful highlights from a very personable stylist. I went in having no clue what kind of highlights I wanted or how much, and the stylist did a wonderful job making my hair look great! I'm writing this review so that if someone else is googling "highlights at Supercuts" they can maybe find this and see that someone had a good experience. I know it depends on the stylist, mostly, but I hope to spread the word that you should try Supercuts out if you're looking for highlights on a budget :-) read more

Took my son for his hair cut, Rynae the manager (really supercuts is that the best you can do?), she cut his hair just ok nothing spectacular but I wanted her to use a #2, she insisted on #3....okkkkk Also NO HOT TOWEL, WHF? Do we have to ask for the service? So much for all those signs of a hot towel with every cut, pfffff! OK, at the register....this is how it went....Paid with a $20., had a $4 coupon, she gave me $6 and then ask is that right?
