I called yesterday about getting a haircut here. I'd never been here before in fact I didn't really know where it was! Turns out it was hiding in plain sight in the Home Depot center. Great news because it's close to where we live and I got an outstanding haircut by Tanyth. She was kind and quiet and REALLY focused. She was able to explain why I had been struggling to style my hair after a botched haircut from Cutters in Apple Valley. Tanyth gave me the stacked bob I wanted and it only took about 20 minutes!! I'll be back and I encourage others to give Super Cuts on Apple Valley Rd a try! BIG THANKS PS Yes, we both wore masks and my temp was taken as I entered the shop. The place was super clean read more

I was very disappointed with my experience at Supercuts on Apple Valley Road. I had an appointment today at 1:30 for a shampoo and haircut. I brought a picture showing exactly how I wanted my hair cut and explained that I had been growing it out and wanted to keep the length in the back. I mainly wanted it shaped and the ends lightly trimmed. I have worn my hair in this style before, so I knew what I was asking for. From the beginning, I didn't feel that the stylist was really listening to me. She initially seemed unsure who was next and had to check the computer after asking whether I was with another customer who was waiting. She then suggested that I should have my hair shampooed, even though my appointment was already booked for a shampoo and cut. Instead of discussing the haircut I had requested, the conversation quickly turned to the condition of my hair and products she could recommend. I explained that I already have products I'm happy with and wasn't interested in purchasing more. She then showed me how much hair she thought should be cut off -- approximately four inches. That was exactly what I did NOT want. I specifically explained that I had been growing my hair out and wanted to keep the length. My ends did not feel to me as though they needed four inches removed. I was comfortable with a very small trim and wanted the style shaped like the photo I brought. At that point, I asked her to remove the cape and told her I was leaving. She seemed surprised, but I explained that I came in knowing how I wanted my hair cut. I understand a stylist making a recommendation, but ultimately I believe the customer should be listened to and should be able to decide how much of her own hair she wants cut off. This experience was also disappointing because on a previous visit to this same location, a different stylist recommended a conditioning treatment. I agreed because I had paid around $30 for similar treatments in the past. She began applying the treatment without first telling me the price. While she was applying it, I overheard her tell another person that many customers don't get that particular treatment because it costs $60. I would have appreciated being told the price BEFORE the treatment was started so I could decide whether I wanted to spend $60 on it. I also couldn't tell much difference in my hair afterward. I don't mind a stylist offering professional advice, but there is a difference between making a suggestion and not listening to what the customer is asking for. I came in with a picture, clearly explained that I wanted to preserve my length, and knew what haircut I wanted. I ultimately chose to leave rather than risk having several inches of hair cut off that had taken me months to grow. Unfortunately, after these two experiences, I don't feel comfortable returning to this location. read more

The manager is a very disrespectful person, came at me with a rude tone, and made the environment very hostile. I went there before when she was not there I had a very pleasant time and really enjoyed my cut. read more

Walked in Saturday, was immediately greeted by Suzie. I asked for a Jamie Lee Curtis hair cut and she did an excellent job. I love the super short cut! Thank you Suzie! read more

Lots of good stylists here. My favorite is Rikki, she is so great at cutting bangs! She is my go to for my Bettie bangs.

I came in a had a big knotty hair! And they worked on it for a hour! Absolutely so nice and I couldn't get it out by myself! Everyone in there was so nice! Autumn was wonderful! read more

Michele is spot on. I wish they took appointments! I have always been there when the doors open so I rarely have to wait.

This is more than a review of a haircut, It's a review of the awesome people who work at this location (sorry I didn't get their names, but they know who they are). I came in for a simple cut, and the service and style were perfect. While I was there, a gentleman in a wheelchair came in to get his hair done (coloring I believe). He was confined to the wheelchair, so he was unable sit in the chair at the sink. The girl cutting my hair was discussing the options with him while finishing up with me. I didn't mind her engaging another customer, as I was curious how the process would work myself. She was very confident and assured the man that they would be able to help him. Unfortunately, I left and didn't see how the whole process turned out, but when you see people go out of their way and do whatever it takes to help people in difficult situations, it bears mentioning and they should be commended. I will always return to this location bcuz I know they care about their customers and they will do whatever it takes to make you happy. read more

Honestly had great service. Always call and make an appointment. I had gone for a cut and some layers, left with a smile and a great haircut. Seriously loved my hair and how it felt. read more

Good service, the staff is friendly and professional. They respect appointment times and listen to your concerns and what you want.

Customer service was great, except they do not except medical exemptions for the mask. This to me sounds a little discriminatory. That's great Shirley but you don't ask someone to make sure they're in a wheelchair if they're disabled. read more

Came in to see if they could do a quick trim ,I don't have much hair to to trim and I made it in well before the 5 o'clock closing time hell the open sign was on .....the receptionist must of really been in a hurry to leave early because she told me we're done for the day....when I posted out the hours and open chairs she said yeah well I'm sorry come back tomorrow at 9 "I'm done for the day" glad to see you guys stick to your hours of operation and have a drive to service people read more

Literally no one waiting here and 2 stylists standing around and they said I have to wait and they have no idea how long. You have to call ahead to get a haircut? God forbid they're employees actually work...I mean I was the o my one in the lobby. Won't come back here again...no wonder they get such bad reviews. I would have been ok had the 2 girls not had an attitude...maybe a "sorry but we are completely booked up today". They acted like they were bothered by having to come out from hiding in the back. read more

I agree with Jason J. Review on here. I just walked out so upset. The girl at the counter doing check ins was so rude made me feel like a burden. When i told her that I called yesterday and was told you could walk in I was never explained that it had to be the same day that I needed to call to walk in. She was talking over me when I was explaining. I just moved here and wanted to find my go to salon. I felt this was also due to my ethnicity. If you like being disrespected go to this salon. This just happened on 7/25/21 at 3:20pm read more

I was desperately needing a haircut and after having bad experiences with other Supercuts locations as well as Great Clips, I was really hesitant on returning to another Supercuts. I even checked out more pricier salons that charge closer to double what Supercuts does if it meant getting my hair right. At the last minute, I decided to just give it one last shot at Supercuts since I was in the area. It was about a 30 minute wait, but Tanyth made it so worth it as she did exactly what I wanted to my hair. Next time I need a trim, I will return to her. :) She restored my faith in Supercuts! She was very sweet to chat with too while I was getting my cut. If you're reading this Tanyth, thank you for an awesome experience!!! :) read more

OMG I AM SHOOK! I just recieved the worse hair cut of my entire life I have been crying since I left! I asked for a trim and this broad chopped off two inches of my hair! I will never be going back here! read more

I get my daughter's haircut here. People are friendly. Sometimes the wait is a little long but that is to be expected!

Karen gave me exactly the cut I asked for and did it quickly. Love her!

It's Supercuts so we all know it's a clean quick place to get a cut or style, but I tend to like it here as several of the girls always give me a great cut and are always nice when I'm in there, it just might be my favorite place for a fresh looking hair cut read more

FRAUD!!!! Caught them twice changing numbers on credit card receipt for tip. Double check your statement. Your 00 even amount will be changed to .99. Adding that .99 cents extra to your card. Also spent less than 10 minutes on my sons hair cut, came out ridiculous. read more

Terrible job on my son's hair! The hair in the front was all crooked and wonky. I could have done better at home and saved myself the money. This place costs more than our old haircut place, and they are not good at all. We will not be back. If you can't cut a straight line, find a new career! read more

Excellent hair cut by this Mexican girl I don't know her name but she did a real nice cut on my boyfriend !

I have been a customer at this salon for the past 10 years. Today, 3-13-23, I called in advance to get a haircut. When I arrived, there were 2 people getting their hair done & only 2 stylists. I waited for at least 15 minutes while they finished with their customers & putzed around. They called the next person who was on the list AFTER me but told me I would be next. Prior to this, I never had a bad experience & when I called in advance I was always the next person taken. I happened to look at the list & saw they took the person listed after me. I drive from Silver Lakes to your store. As of today, all that has changed. If you don't want to have a call in service, then stop doing it. When I was walking out, the young lady said I was next but I saw that she had taken the person listed after me. The call-in service used to be a good thing but apparently no longer is. You have lost a customer of long standing. What a shame. read more

my wife had her hair just trimmed, not a major cut, but was pretty much just chopped!!!! she requested her hair be layered in the front, but her hair was cut 3 inches in length, and was straight across cut, no layers at all!!! the worst job ever!! the girl was busy chatting with other people, and not paying attention to her work!! dont go here if you want good service!! very unprofessional!! read more

So in my recent experience this place has been losing focus on customer service. The haircuts I have received have been good but the overall experience has not been good. Recently I was not able to use my app because it was not working I decided to just drop in and see if I could get in. The first comment out of the one that greeted me was "what is your name? Well there are 5 ahead of you and it is going to be awhile". Not hello, we are busy right now but we we can put you on a list and come back in an hour, etc. I was treated like I was a burden to the making them more busy. I have been going here for 5 years now but decided it is time for a change and go somewhere else where I am treated like a person and not a number. read more

Very friendly service from Alexandra. She has earned mine and my families business. See you again. Thank you

I actually came here to get a fix on a haircut I got from a different location and let me just say I wish I came to this one first the girl who cut my hair or fixed it I wish I can remember her name but she was so friendly and helpful. When I need a trim or cut I will definitely be going to this location only now read more

Racist,I walked in. Wasn't greeted or checked in. One of the barbers just stared at me Standing there. two mins later a white couple comes in. They were greeted and made sure they signed in. So i left. I wanted to give supercuts a try after hearing mixed reviews about them. I made a mistake going. read more

I waited over an hour just to be told that it would be another 40 minutes, and there were only 3 people ahead of me when I walked in and one of them walked out about 20 minutes before I did. There's no reason it should've taken that long. I walked out without a haircut. Very unhappy with the service I failed to receive here. read more

I'm not in a rush when I go in to get my hair done. I am not going to a barber. I go to Super Cuts because they make sure you are happy with your hair before you leave. Besides my favorite stylist is there. Doing hair is not making a cup of coffee. It's a talent in their craft. read more

I went into Supercuts with a picture of the hair cut I wanted which have taken into another place which costs a lot more but did a great job. I told her I do not want it too short just like the picture she just started cutting, I said don't you think you are cutting it to short, she said no I left almost in tears. she made me look like a boy. Will never go back there I would rather pay a higher price then let them chop you hair off. thank God my hair will grow back. read more

They don't answer their phone. They tell you you're next , then they call someone else. One girl said she called the boy's name, we were sitting right next to her, but 4 adults and 3 kids didn't hear her. Avoid them at all costs. read more

If youre going to go and get a haircut, go and see Either Gabby or Destinee, they are the best. Thank you guys.

Went in for a haircut & they did a terrific job. They cut my hair exactly the way I wanted. I definitely will go back.

This place Sucks! I went to go get a hair cut. And they couldn't even do a simple cut or the "stylist" I had didn't know what she was doing. Got my cut I didn't like how it came out . Didn't realize they messed my hair up till I got home. Over priced for a basic cut. I don't know how they can hire such shitty hair stylist. Never going there again nor any super cuts sticking with my hair stylist from now on. If I can give them negative Stars I would. Pay the extra money and go to real professional stylist. read more

Wow, frankly I am impressed with the sheer quality of service here, true professionals in their calling. One of the finest vaginal steaming sessions I've had outside of my private gynecological examiner has been had at a Super Cuts.
