I used to be a huge fan of this company but perhaps the integrity of it's staff might be slipping…read more normally, i hang out and chat with the cleaner, offer them water, and generally hang around. they are a stranger in my house after all. they've always done a great job. however, this last time, i wasn't able to be there when they came and i had someone else be there in my stead. they didn't hang out with the cleaner though, they hung out in a different part of the house and waited for them to finish. when i got home i noticed that none of the places where furniture stood were cleaned. i had actually cleared the room and put all of the large furniture on sliders myself. it was 100% clear that the furniture should be moved and the carpet should be cleaned in the entire room. when i called for them to return to finish i was told that i'd have to wait 5 days!!! with my house taken apart. finally, i drove personally to the office to speak with Esther (who is awesome) and she was able to track the same employee down to return to finish the job. however, the entire time he was there, he was making excuses about how sometimes clients wants their furniture never to be touched, while others change their instructions depending on the job or their desires. i told him that if there was any confusion he should have asked and he would have been told the furniture needed to be moved and the carpet cleaned. i'm skeptical now that i'm beginning to think i have to be there to supervise because i can't count on them to do the job well the first time if no one's looking. to top it off, i think his 2nd job was ceremonial at best since it didn't seem to do any good where 'cleaned.' also, i caught him trying to dump his cleaning solution on my driveway but he stopped when he saw me. :-/ definitely disappointed after having been a huge fan and sending them so many referrals.

From our employees to delivery drivers, the foot traffic is high. I can't say enough good things about the quality of service I received. They cleaned from top to bottom. Bathrooms, kitchens, cleaned all the walls, washed our office windows inside and out. They buffed and waxed our old VCT tile that I thought was ruined. It looks brand new again. Their entire team just worked and didn't stop until the job was done. It's always nice to see people smile when they're at work and they brought a smile to my face as well with everything they did. Our general contractor, Shaun, managed everything from scope, purchasing and installation to painting. Communication was clear, and he kept on top of the project so we never had to follow up. We love the new doors: they're higher quality than what you can buy retail, block sound well, and have instantly upgraded the look of our home. One of the best parts about working with Fleming Construction, and what wins my business, is that we weren't asked to make technical decisions about things we don't know the answer to, which is the purpose of hiring an expert in the first place. It's a local company, which was important to us; they didn't rush us to sign and then delay starting for months. When the painter cut a corner, he noticed before we did and got it fixed. Integrity matters, and Shaun demonstrated that. Over the years, we've had experiences that make us hesitant to believe what construction companies promise.
