I haven't been to Super Sergios in so long so while staying in National City while my house was being worked on I knew I had to check out Super Sergios. Well, I was happy to know the food still tasted great, my husband and I came twice and the service was always really friendly and fast. The first time we ordered a carne asada burrito plate, loved the rice and beans and the meat in the burrito was super flavorful. The second time we ordered a carne asada quesadilla, when we got back to our hotel we noticed that the quesadilla was just one big tortilla, uncut. The food tasted amazing. Everything tasted fresh. I got Carne Asada fries, and I felt like the fry to meet ratio was leaning more on the french fry side so it would've been nice if there was more of an equal ratio or maybe just a bit more meat so I wasn't left with so many fries. The customer service was excellent top-tier 10 out of 10 would recommend there was a mixup with sour cream and the man at the register noticed his mistake and fix the error by providing cash and he did it with respect and very gracefully. It was about 20 bucks for a champurrado and surf and turf burrito. Their surf and turf was mixed with chipotle sauce and came with rice. So good!! I saved half for the next day. Very Disappointed! service has gone downhill I've been coming to Super Sergio for a while, but this visit was disappointing. I ordered at the drive thru a carne asada fries and a Cali burrito without sour cream and pico de gallo and both were added anyway. We even reiterated (no pico and sour cream and she said correct). On top of that, I was charged extra for something I didn't order. When I brought it up, the cashiers were very rude and dismissive instead of trying to fix the mistake. Unfortunately, the service has really gone downhill, and that alone makes it hard to come back. It's not like it use to be many years ago :( read more

OK, they have great burritos but $17.92 for a breakfast burrito because it was after 12 and they give you a surcharge of two dollars after that time no thank you. Insanity. I used to love going they're just gonna be cheese cause they have great beans but if they're gonna overcharge for a breakfast burrito like that, it's crazy. I was told about super Sergio's long time ago. It wasn't until today that I was able to stop by to try the famous chile, Colorado plate. The service was great. Two months ago I ordered a Machaca burrito and I'm not sure if it was spoiled meat or a different ingredient, but one single bite literally made me throw up because of the taste. Somehow a caliburrito doesn't come with sour cream or guac. I took out the pico that it did come with and added sour cream and guac. I also ordered a Jamaica. How is that $23? When I got home and saw the burrito it was small compared to other taco shops around there. The guac was liquidy and there wasn't that much fries in there. I wouldn't be going back. I've been craving good Mexican food since LA doesn't really have any solid spots, so I had my heart set on Carne Asada Fries from this place I used to hit up for late-night eats. I got into town around midnight, stopped by the spot, placed my order, and ate in my car. It felt nostalgic until a few hours later.
