They got a cool toy vending machine at the entrance and the store was so busy but it was a weekend! Checkout was quick with self-checkout available, and they take credit cards. I then called Woodman's with the original receipt and asked if they could help locate the serial number or provide any assistance. They refused to help, even after the issue was escalated to the corporate level. Amazon could not do anything without Woodman's help, and Woodman's would not assist us. If my daughter had purchased the gift card directly from Amazon, this likely could have been resolved. Instead, we are out the money. I understand that gift cards are like cash, but in this case we had the original receipt, acted quickly, and only needed help retrieving information that Woodman's should have access to. It was very disappointing to feel completely dismissed over a $35 gift card. Because of this experience, I would recommend buying gift cards directly from the actual retailer instead of Woodman's. The past year or so it has been a lucky guess of how things are done. This past Tuesday 10/21 I went to get some lunch meat and cheeses and there was a sign that said on break will be back at 220 pm. While 3 other customers waited for the girl to come back. It's now 235 pm and the other 3 customers just left. A cashier who use to work Deli came back to see why everyone was leaving thanks to her I got what I wanted. About 245 pm the Deli girl came back and I said your late and her response was JEP FOLLOWED BY A SMILE AND A LAFF. From 220 pm until and 235 pm 3 out 4 customers left there remaking groceries and left the store. Things in this deli need to get fixed if you want to keep customers.
