I called Pizza Veloz at 7:19pm and placed my order, the man who took my order asked me to repeat my address several times and was extremely rude and loud. I was told it would take 50mins for my order to be delivered, an hour and ten minutes later my order still had not arrived. I called the restaurant back and I was assured the driver was out delivering my pizza, another 30mins went by, I called the restaurant a third time and was told my order was never placed (even though the previous employee clearly stated that my pizza was out for delivery!) overall terrible service, there were no attempts to correct their mistake. read more

This is one of my go-to pizza places in that area. They offer four pizza sizes - small, medium, large and extra large. I always take the extra large for two people. I feel it's big enough. Decent pizzas for the price I had one pizza with pizza and mushroom and a second pizza with everything. Their large pizzas are really large (about 16"). Taking the larger size into account, a pizza from Pizza Veloz with toppings is usually cheaper than a comparable pizza from one of the pizza chains. The quality of cheese and toppings is ok. Not bad, but nothing to get excited about. The biggest weakness is that the edge of the crust is more hard than crispy. It takes more force than usual to take a bite out of the edge, and there's little crunch/crispiness. However, for this price level, the overall quality of the pizza is pretty good. When I have a pizza craving and don't have time to drive out of the area, this place gets the job done. read more

I've been going back to this place again and again since I realized dominoes and Pizza Hut were just overhyped (not to mention over priced) subpar pizza joints-I think it's been about 15yrs. First, disclaimer, I live 5 blocks away, and so I would say my 5 stars are a bit bias. But I would go as far to say it's the best bang for your buck pizza you can get in a 5 mile radius. Yes there is big Als here in neighboring Maywood, bomb but super pricey. The only thing about Big Als is their ingredients, which are higher quality but I definitely struggle distinguishing if the extra 5-10 dollars for a large is worth it. read more

I have been ordering food from this place since I was 14 years old... That's around 13 years of being a very regular customer. The Pizza is GREAT :) They have delivered to my place of employment even though it is out of their delivery range. Each time it has been delivered hot and fresh tasting. My co-workers have become hooked and ask me often to order "V-Pizza" whenever we work long days. Whenever I've had a bad day, I order myself a small pizza and flip on the Game to unwind. I ordered the same awesome family special.I Always order, LG. Pizza ,Potatoes, BBQ Chicken Wings and Soda for $17.99. On the phone I was told it was $22.90, delivery guy gets here and I give him 2 $20 bills. My change should have been $17.10. He gives me $16.10, I pointed this out and he says no the total was $23.90, o.k. so whatever. I told.him I guess you just kept your tip. We get to the food and the pizza was just as good as always but then the potatoes are hardly there, there were barely enough potatoes for.my 4 year old granddaughter and daughter and there were only 8 pieces of chicken when they usually give 10 or 12! I am so disappointed! I just called and spoke to Alex and he said he was really sorry and would.definitely make up for it the next time I order. I love this place! :-) :-) read more

Had to try this place because of the overwhelmingly good ratings. Not the nicest place to sit and eat; they seemed surprised that we didn't order for pick up and were there to sit and dine. Beverages were very limited; below average! The pizza however, absolutely delicious, might be a little greasy for some but it's pizza folks!
