I come here often to order some ready made meals For dinner. A great option if you're not in the mood to cook. The only issue is the time and availability. You must call in advance to order as they don't keep anything ready and prepare it on call. Last time I remember calling in to pre-order the chicken grilled charcoal but recently was a bit bummed.. I didn't know that it was absolutely necessary to pre- order at least 45min- an hour beforehand. I believe it's way to long of a wait and super inconvenient. The chicken we ordered was dry and way too overcooked. They cook it way too long in my opinion. Recently, I decided to just order what was already ready. They had some BBQ chicken ready and rice was really good and delicious no charcoal grill this time. (3.5 ish for the dish) The grocery store itself is superbe ! A fine selection of food items available on site lots of Middle East items available to purchase that you can't get at your regular grocery store. Got some paneer cheese around 5$ for a thick 600g block so I'm pretty happy about that. The items are very pricey so don't recommend shopping here for anything generic but specialty products are pretty good and worth buying here if you live around the area rather than driving far into montreal/ west island. Overall, pretty small little authentic middle eastern place to check out for sure if you're looking for something extra and different.

At 12pm, delivery had still not arrived so I contacted the store and they confirmed it had left. 45 minutes later, I received a call asking me to confirm some missing items before sending the order, meaning it had never left. The girl assured me that it would arrive by 12:30 pm. We ended up ordering in because of how late it was and because we needed to start by 2pm. My order finally arrived late accompanied by rock hard baguettes at 2pm only which was suppose to be the start time of our brunch. I called to make a complaint and was transferred to the supposed director of the store named "Carl". I explained him the situation and requested a small credit for my next order to compensate for the inconvenience, wrong information provided by more than one person on time. He was very agreesive, raised his voice, and would not allow me to speak telling me that there wasn't no way they hindered my brunch because I wouldn't have had time to prepare even if it came on time. After listening to him yell at me for 10 minutes, I simply asked him to have his boss call me. I guess we will see if someone actually calls. Honestly shocked by the poor customer service, especially when IGA is such a big grocery store.

I must say the staff is a bit undertrained though they don't know the names or food items iga offers..nor the specials of the day so maybe if there was a manager that can properly train the staff it would definitely make a huge difference! They didn't know a fiew items like (asian wafu sauce at the sushi counter or the difference between bbq chicken / fried chicken it's not the end of the world and it doesn't effect at all my review star but its important to note this for the management team to properly train your staff. Nonetheless, the service is wonderful helpful and super friendly always making sure I get served quickly at the fresh deli counters and always serve me quickly and rapidly with a smile. The Items are always fresh and the quality at this place is the best! Everything here is worth buying .. the food lasts longer than other grocery places I've been to! They last longer and quite frankly taste better too The prices are a bit more pricey than other places but you pay for quality and better service at the checkout counter you have 2 people at all times scanning and bagging your items which I find very convenient and wonderful. Every time I come here it's always consistent in terms of quality and service . I will be back here for sure !

There is an on-site sushi vendor as well as on-site meals that can be ordered. The bakery is good and the deli station is great. The organic section has grown a lot in the last few years as has the store itself (expansion/ growth). The prices sometimes seem a little on the high side, but the sales are decent if it's what you normally buy or are looking for. My only word of caution is to take a good look at the Best Before dates on your items, especially if they're on sale. Since the new owner took over last year, things have been tricky and I've often found (and complained about) expired milk that was still being sold, just as I found box soups with expired dates. Also, the latest tactic on sales has fallen to the "buy 2 or more" to get a price cut. Again, if you're alert, you won't get fooled.
