The 2 queen bed suite was spacious. I really appreciated the microwave and fridge being available in the room. The beds were just okay. I was looking forward to a restful nights sleep but the bed wasn't that comfortable to me. The sofa was noisy and definitely needs to be replaced. I hate all hotel HVAC systems. It's either extremely cold or extremely hot. I woke up stuffy. This was my first stay at a home2suites. I liked the location , free parking and complimentary breakfast .

However, what a find!! The hotel is clean and looks pretty new. It's a little off the main road, however there is a lot in the area. There is parking both in front and behind the building. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance such as Chipotle, a Cuban restaurant, an Indian restaurant, and many others. There are also many stores nearby for shopping (Trader Joe's, Kroger) and also entertainment (bowling and Malibu Jack's). I think I've found my new Lexington Hotel despite the longer drive to my work.

Reasonable price. Cons: paper thin toilet paper, scratchy towels, old coffee maker, no hair dryer in room, drafty room. We had room issue at check-in - the window was open and frozen open (during snow storm, quality check?). They switched us from 2 queen room to a king room (4 of us) with pull out couch. It worked okay, but not perfect. We had to get extra pillows and towels (they could have thought to do this when they switched us).

My room was clean, the bed was comfortable and there 's a safe, fridge and microwave. Plus lots of space for working if you're on a business trip! The only thing that struck me as odd was the bathroom layout. It's very long and the toilet is all the way at the other end of the room. It just looks really funny and is a lot of wasted space. Asked for managers contact, was told they will be here "tomorrow" I don't blame the raw sewage smell outside on them.... But it's definitely there!!! The pictures posted by the property are touched up and don't show how dark and dingy this place is. Both couches and chairs in each of the rooms had nasty stains and rips/holes in them. Even one of the armchairs in the lobby had a rip in it! The repairs done to the rooms were shoddy. When I asked for a luggage cart, I was told they didn't have any. Overall not worth the money when you can stay at a new Hilton or Hampton for around the same price.

I have a…read morefood allergy and had an issue communicating with the breakfast staff but that was the only negative of my stay. As tip for the hotel would be to update their first aid kid. I cut myself at night in my room and went down to the front desk for a bandaid and their first aid kit was empty. Definitely something they should have on hand in my opinion.
