If you have sensitivity to smell do NOT stay here, the smell of chemicals and fragrance are so strong that I have been in bed with a migraine since we got here! They are currently renovating and there is a ton of noise and junk all outside, the elevator is TINY!!! The bathroom is really bad, no shower pressure and toilet will barely flush! Sadly we won't be back at this location, I will say the one in Frankfort and Versailles is great!

Anytime you open the room, everyone sees into your room. That's not good if someone is undressed or whatever. The second thing after about 10 minutes I noticed that my card was charged twice for the same amount of $280. I called the front desk and she said she will check with management. She then told me that if I contact my bank she can work with them to take it off. What happened is when I arrived she said the card wasn't working. She ran it several times and charged me twice. I had to contact my bank and they removed the duplicate charge. The fun begins because now every dick and harry rolling through the lobby we heard the noise. People intoxicated all hours of the night and we heard it. It was very loud near our room. The one thing that was good was the breakfast the first day. The second day not so much. When we arrived they had no plate or forks. Finally had plates but nothing to eat with. I'm not sure if they were use to this many people at the hotel at a single time. The rooms were clean, but the shower was a bit off and the toilet didn't work the best.

We woke up and there were ants crawling all over the table. On top of that there ants in one of the double beds. Upon notifying the staff they came up and sprayed raid and put out traps with me still in the room. I'm currently pregnant so thats not something that I should be around at all. They switch out rooms to a king room with a pull out bed but not after being told that we needed a new room. Update* just took the sheets and comforter off the bed to see this. I'm appalled... Update 2* when being addressed about the stained sheets and mattress topper they said "it doesn't make sense to throw them out. They are clean but we can't get the stains out." They want us to trust that they are clean and just deal with the nasty stains...

When we checked-in, the front desk attendant was very friendly and we were able to check in early, but she informed us that the pool was temporarily closed after a 'rough' couple of days over the holiday. She said they were hoping to have it back up and running by 6 pm. We decided to take our daughter to a local arcade/indoor ride center and dinner to kill some time in the hopes that when we got back, the pool would be open. When we returned around 9 we were informed the pool was not open and it likely would not be for another 48 hours. That was not what we wanted to hear... I did explain our frustration and we were offered a discounted stay. The desk agent also said I should still check in tomorrow afternoon to see if they got it working or not. We had some distillery tours scheduled the next day so we did that and I messaged the hotel in the Marriott app to check on the pool and was told it was still not working. We found other things to keep us busy and when we returned around 6 that evening the desk agent (same woman from night before) told me that she'd messaged me in the Marriott app about the pool being fixed and back open. I had missed the message but was so happy to tell my daughter it was open and I was very impressed the desk agent messaged me and remembered how important it was for us to use the pool. Aside from all of that, the hotel itself was very nice and clean. The room was modern and comfortable, especially the sofa. Breakfast was decent but the selection was limited. Overall we would stay here again if we return to the Lexington area.

The room was modern and new looking, and more importantly very clean. The room included a mini fridge, microwave, in room coffee maker, hair dryer, liquid hand soap (a big plus to us), and your typical toiletry amenities. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet, minus when the heat kicked in that was on the louder side. Everything at this Hampton Inn location seemed new and was very clean. There was a lovely and delicious hot continental breakfast - toast, cereal, muffins, waffles, cinnamon waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits, potatoes, oatmeal, and a selection of juices. The breakfast area is also very nice and clean, as is the lobby. The parking lot is also well lit. Another plus to staying at this Hampton Inn is we were able to check-in via our phone and use our phone as our key. We never had to go to the front desk. It was all very quick and easy. We enjoyed our stay at the Hampton Inn by Hilton in Nicholasville, KY, as an overnight stay on our adventure. I highly recommend and would absolutely stay here again!

I have never experienced worse customer service in my 25 years of staying at hotels. She will get into power struggles with customers, is dismissive, petty, and arrogant in her demeanor, and in my last visit, charged me an extra $25 for a "late checkout fee" (I was ready to checkout early but was running to class late and asked if I could come back around 12:05 after class to checkout. She said yes and didn't mention it would cost $25 at the time or else I would have stayed back to checkout then.) She (and the inn she represents) would highly, highly benefit from hospitality and customer service training from literally any of the other employees (especially the older ones and the foreign students who serve at the front desk). I wish I could stay elsewhere on visits-any other place with a kind, or at the very least, professional staff-but there are limited hotels in Wilmore.
