Hotels are great but this place is, what is is. The owner walked me to see the room, you see you like you pay, you don't like, here's your money back if you don't like what you see. We stayed one day longer than expected and hated to leave then but vacations do come to a close. This place is perfect in everyway if you are into motor lodge stays. Its fun, its the best. The owner clarified his name for me, he wears a mask but does not require you to. I ask his name again and he said AD, American Diamond, and truly he is a jewel to meet and to visit with. It's located across from a small hospital and has a very large parking lot. I was able to check in seamlessly through the app with my requests for certain room type honored. The staff seemed helpful and friendly. The room was very clean and spacious. Luckily I was placed on the quiet side away from the freeway. I had no issues and I look forward to staying again. They include: (1) we own our land, therefore, have a say in how the Resort is operated; (2) we have great friends here--lots are owned for an average of 16 years which allows us to become well acquainted with our neighbors--they are like family; (3) there is never a lack of activities to keep us busy; and (4) costs are reasonable--we currently pay $145/month or $1,760/year dues which includes water, sewer, garbage, cable TV and telephone. No alarm clock, no Kleenex, no coffee maker, no breakfast I didn't smell the cigarette odor until I laid on my pillow which had the stale cigarette odor ALL OF THE ABOVE FOR $97.
