There were piles of black pubic hair and regular hair in the corners of the bathroom, mold on the tub, bugs on the walls of the room, broken pieces of Sheetrock all around the room. It was horrible. The bed was extremely uncomfortable, made noise every time you moved, and the bedding was stained. We slept fully clothed in long pants and shirts to limit our exposure to the bedding. I seriously would have rather slept in my car but my husband did not think the area was very safe enough to do that and we got in very late, not knowing where else we could stay. We were running late for a funeral when we left so we had no time to argue about a refund.

I have nothing against remodels and construction but when you're in that stage of remodeling, you shouldn't be open. However, the service and breakfast was awful First of all, the AA website stated that we could check in by 2pm. We got to the hotel about 2:40 pm. No one was at the front desk. I ran the bell a couple of times before the attendant came to the desk barefoot. :( She told us that we couldn't check in until 3PM. I will add that there was only one other car in the parking lot besides ours. So, we left and came back later. We got to our rooms. The mattresses on the beds were on top of a flat spring like thing that was sitting on top of a metal box that made a "Boing" sound every time you sat on the bed or moved around after getting in the bed. The next morning, we went to breakfast which consisted of a waffle maker, some bagged muffins, and a little juice. I was like throwing bred in a minnow pond as there were 30 people or more waiting for the meager sustenance. We left and went to McDonalds. When we got back to our rooms that night, non of our room keys worked. Between the two rooms we had two keys per room. I had to go to the desk and get them rekeyed. I asked the attendant why the keys didn't work. Instead just saying, I'm sorry for the inconvenience, she said, "You must have put your card next to another card." I told her it was in my back pocket all day, so it had not come in contact with other cards. Besides, why would all four cards not work. She replied with, "It's no big deal." I think as the customer, that I would be the one to decide if it was a big deal or not. So, we get in the rooms and the rooms had not been cleaned. I go back to the desk to get fresh towels. The attendant tells me to come back in 30 minutes because the towels are still drying for the laundry that day. I said, "you mean to tell me in the entire hotel there are not towels available?" She said she only had one housekeeper that day. I told her to call me when the towels were ready. I went back to my room and set a timer for 40 minutes in case I fell asleep while waiting for the towels. The timer when off, I went to use the phone to call the front desk to see if the towels were ready. The phone was unplugged. After plugging it in, there was not dial tone. I walked back up to the front to get the towels. She saw me coming and went over to the laundry and materialized with a stack of already folded towels. As she handed them to me, she said, "Be sure to bring your old towel to me." LOL - that was not happening. We will not stay here again. It is a shame. Free parking and color TV were the only amenities. As advertised the room was simple and small and clean. The air conditioner set to 60 cooled the room to maybe 72. The guy and his wife were nice. When the other guest and I said the internet wasn't working the proprietor blamed it on the ISP saying the only thing available in that area was satellite service. Well that and the WalMart range extender didn't extend the range beyond 40 feet. He said we should use our cellular data. Verizon is my carrier and I only got 1-2 bars which is enough for talk but not data. As I was packing the m-cycle to leave In the morning, I mentioned staying in Oklahoma motels for weeks and this is the only place that failed to provide something for breakfast or even coffee. He said the county health inspector prevents them from offering...anything. He did offer to fetch a coffee maker so I could brew a cup in my room before leaving. I was desperate to finish and e-mail a time-sensitive document and stopped by a nearby competitor. They graciously offered the use of their speedy internet and to fill my travel cups with coffee. I noticed they also offered breakfast. Now that's hospitality.

They absolutely do not give a shit about anything. Everything was broken, falling apart, coming off the walls, bent, broken. The towels were stained. Not one thing in these rooms were clean. Then I asked if they had a vending machine. He says yes, and told me where it was. The f--cking thing wasn't even working. It was completely unplugged(not that that was keeping it from working.
