I recently moved back to Maryland and opened an account here as several people I know use them and…read morelike them. I have found this bank to be virtually useless. My card won't "tap", even at THEIR ATMs. I needed a safe deposit box, they say they don't have them. I have tried MANY times to use my "app", but it never works. It is frequently "unavailable", won't take my password (which IS correct), and absolutely will not take photos for mobile deposit of checks. All of this necessitates that I go in to the bank in person to do business, AND that I had to find another bank with safe deposit boxes, and open an account there. Also, they recently deposited someone else's check into my account! How does THAT happen? Last time I went in to the main bank in Lexington Park, the young women was quite "flippant" with me, rudely and casually dismissing my concerns. I am going to another bank.

It would not eject my card back. Called the 800 number and the location directly with not being connected to a BOA staff, even with multiple attempts. This location seems to be abandoned and the service is not kept up. Not cool Bank of America.

Went in here today. Wasn't very happy with their service. This is the third time I've been in here…read moresince I moved to the area. First time was wonderful. The last time not so good. This time not good at all. One teller was on the banks phone dealing with a personal problem (as I heard her say "mom I'll take care of it"). The other teller just ignored me while I stood there. The gentleman behind the desk behind me, was on the phone dealing with another member in front of him. So he knocked on his desk. So the teller that ignored me and just looked up and said "oh" the other teller while more members came in just continued her personal phone call. NOT VERY PROFESSIONAL AT ALL. I will be closing my account and taking all my business to Navy Federal at least they greet you as soon as you walk in the door.

6/1/20 covid update…read more Customers still not allowed inside. Word from a reliable source is that even after renovation is complete soon, they will not reopen. Consequently customers are forced into long lines for the drive through. When I was there today there must have been 20-30 cars in line, and they were blocking the street. Line for the single ATM was at least six people and very slow.

My husband and I opened a joint account about a week and a half ago, we deposited money that day…read moregot our debit cards in the mail and thought all was good. Someone that owed me a small amount of money sent me a Zelle payment. I wake up the next day and my account is empty. I call PNC and they said there was a hold on my account and that it was a mistake. So they took the hold off. Meanwhile, my husband sold an old fireplace part and deposited the check the person wrote us. Apparently the check bounced, but the money was never deposited into our account. The next day, I go to use my account and all of my money is gone AGAIN. I called PNC and they said my account was frozen and they were ending their "relationship" with us. WHAT IN THE WORLD ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?' And the woman just kept repeating "PNC is ending their relationship with you". No one could tell me why. No one had an explanation. I went into a branch so I could take all of my money out and they said NO. that I had to wait until the next day, AFTER I call some 1800 # and ask them to unfreeze my account. No one could tell me why my account was actually frozen. No one could tell me why I wasn't allowed to have MY MONEY. now mind you, ALL of the money in my account was cash deposits or that one Zelle payment. No checks were waiting to be cleared. The woman whose check didn't go through said she didn't understand why that happened and immediately sent me the money via Venmo. I am so angry right now. I left Bank of America because of stuff like this. My husband and I are going to stick with online banking. No more Big name banks. You all have ruined it. Like seriously.
