I was recommended Sunstone Registered Massage Therapy by a friend who is always raving about her message therapist, Ana Kordić (who also happens to be the owner).
I went for a visit last year, and while the RMT that I booked my appointment with was not my friend's RMT, the RMT I got, Yun Lin, was AMAZING. The service I received is exactly what massage therapy is suppose to be. Yun worked on areas that I felt stress and tension and helped relieve those areas as well as other areas that I didn't even know I had. She also showed me some exercises that I could do to relieve tension at home. I loved my experience so much that I recommended my husband to join me for my visit this year.
I wanted to book with Yun or Ana, but their schedule was full for the next month (!!), yeah, they're quite popular. Instead, I booked an appointment with Hina Patel who had an opening. I was thinking if I had a great experience with someone unexpected last year, I didn't think twice about making an appointment with someone new.
BIG MISTAKE. I should've known why Hina had so many openings. My massage experience with her was THE WORST massage I've ever had. Hina's hands were COLD the entire time, which was super uncomfortable as she was touching my warm body. My skin kept tensing because her cold hands were making my skin cringe. Hina also put waaaaayyyyyyyy too much massage oil on me. I felt like a drenched chicken. She added oil on my back, added oil on my back, AND ADDED OIL ON MY BACK AGAIN. She did it THREE TIMES BACK TO BACK. I felt this much oil was WAAYY TOOO EXCESSIVE and extremely unnecessary.
After your massage, you receive an email to write a feedback about your experience. I wrote a personal review explaining how awful my experience was, but no one reached out to follow up with me. Hence, I am making my experience public.
Needless to say... as much as I would LOVE to return and recommend others... you've lost me (and my husband) as a customer. read more
