We met Jamie at our venue's vendor expo and were immediately impressed by their services, pricing, and vast food offerings. It was a no brainer to book with their group! We had our tasting a couple months before our wedding day; which is complimentary to the couple and a $50 charge for any additional guest to join. They have you select 8-10 appetizers, 2 salads, and 4 entrees to taste at their Naperville location. They also have displays of china, silverware, glasses and more to help couples select what aligns aesthetically for their special day. Jamie worked with us to make small modifications to their standard offerings to make the food exactly what we wanted! Our wedding day came and we were floored by the quality/presentation of food, level of detail in place settings, and service from all staff members. We had multiple guests say that this was some of the best wedding food they've had, steaks were not over cooked, and food tasted fresh. Jamie also let us add desserts a week out to reallocate money from a couple of guests who last minute were unable to attend. Their team was even nice enough to service items not purchased through their group: disposables for the late night snack, display and refilling of cupcakes, etc. Overall, their group went above and beyond for us under Jamie's leadership. Our tables looked great, our food was wonderful, and their team was fabulous. We truly appreciate all they've done for us and could not recommend them more! Disappointing experience despite a fresh and new business relationship. We have used this catering…read morecompany for multiple corporate events and have spent considerable money with them. Historically, the food and service have been very good, which makes our experience with our most recent BBQ event particularly disappointing. The weather was questionable the morning of the event, so we understood the decision to precook the burgers and brats. However, the weather ultimately cooperated, and the event proceeded as planned. We specifically requested that we use at least one large gas grill we provided, even if only to keep the grill/char lines going, but that did not happen. The catering team arrived on time, but the setup was not completed as expected. Two chefs who had originally been scheduled to be onsite to cook the food ultimately spent much of the event standing around with very little involvement. More importantly, the food was served lukewarm to cold even though it arrived in hotboxes, and some food was undercooked/raw. The sternos were not lit until well after the food had been set up and less than 10 minutes before mealtime, which did little to address the temperature problem. For the price we paid, the quality of service and temperature of the food were simply not acceptable. I immediately raised my concerns with the event planner after the event. When I didn't receive a follow-up, I emailed to express our disappointment. To the event planner's credit, she responded and said the owner wanted to address the matter personally and would contact me after returning from out of town. That was over a month ago, and we have still received no communication. A coworker who also helps coordinate our company events separately contacted her point of contact at the company, but also received no response. What is most disappointing is not simply that one event did not meet expectations. We have been a significant repeat customer, and we expected our concerns to be acknowledged and addressed professionally. Instead, we received no follow-up at all. We have had good experiences with this caterer in the past, which is why this situation has been frustrating. Unfortunately, the combination of cold food, a lack of attention during the event, and zero follow-up afterward has made us decide to seek catering elsewhere for our corporate events.

The nurse we were honoring works the 3rd shift and we needed the catering delivery to arrive at 10:30 AM. Normally, Bella Cucina doesn't stay open that late but offered to do it for the nurses. The catering was delicious and was really reasonably priced. Definitely went above beyond for their customers.

I'd heard from a few members of my mother's club about Taste of Home. I haven't lived in the area for quite some time, so all I could do was trust their experience; and I was so glad I did. Donna recommended an array of appetizer sandwiches and cookies that turned out to be real crowd pleasers! Eliminating the use for any utensils was certainly the way to go, and as if to underline that point, trays of non-wrapped cookies and cakes that people brought were hardly touched. My family is so pleased with the outcome, my area siblings are all looking into using Taste of Home for family dinners. We believe in keeping our purchasing as local as possible during this economic uncertainty, and Taste of Home has provided another great Hinsdale option for when cooking is better off done by someone else. I am forever THANKFUL. Their experience, organization, and just willingness to commit to making this day so special. From the start, we loved their food and knew immediately they were it. We even did an additional tasting to look at other options on their menu. Wedding day ... everything that could have happened to us ... happened (never returning to our venue ever). Luckily none of the guests found out because they were all distracted about the food. During contrail hour, the staff was nonstop bringing appetizers because people were taking thirds, fourths, etc. & I'm still hearing about it! Then dinner was exquisite. The portion of the food is very notable... GENEROUS and FILLING. Even my pickiest family members were asking for more. We had a lot of DIYs and they accommodated all of them. Even the ones I brought last minute. And the staff -- every single person -- was so kind, friendly, and just lovely to be around. The bartenders were absolute champs. They even went above and beyond to make us happy while our venue was being EXTRAORDINARILY difficult. Stephanie even came to help us de stress us & the bartenders were just phenomenal - trust me, our 170 guests do not mess around with an open bar. In conclusion, our venue.. never again.
