Note: Fixed chair seats have numbers on the seat. Grass reserved seats have the numbers on the ground. Lots of folks were initially confused. Ask the staff if you lost, they are very helpful. Lots of people brought their own food (some with full on dinners and dessert). You can buy food there also. We had lots of fun. We'll definitely come back and see other shows. The seasonal fare for us is usually entertaining and enjoyable, leaning I think to lighter comedy most of the time, with the occasional drama thrown in, I guess to let us really see the actors working! But, light comedy that is usually quite fun. The most recent example is "Scapin" adapted from Moliere, which is a delightful romp with great characters, and fast pacing. The service was superb. We had a very peppy server that was more than happy to explain everything and everyone seemed nice. 5 stars and I willingly overtipped. We went to the other Carlsbad location near the library to see "Mandalorian and Grogu" and the theater was fine, but the service was terrible and the food was cold. So, we came back here for "The Odyssey" and the experience was worse that when we went to the other location. None of the servers acknowledged us. It was only 11:30am and there was popcorn all over the floors near our seats, dirty napkins where I sat and obvious marks from food of previous patrons. It wasn't until I commented to my gf about popcorn all over the floor that the server overheard and got a broom. Still no acknowledgement and I was fine with that. Sitting in other people's popcorn caused me to lose my appetite. And what is up with the bathroom? 4 urinals, 2 broke with plastic over them and 3 stalls, 1 that does not flush. And meanwhile, two different men who did not know each other brought their tantruming 5-8 year old daughters to the men's bathroom. So, one 5-star experience and one 1-star experience. I don't know if I will return, but the last two Cinepolis trips does make it more likely I'll go elsewhere.

I got my second wind, rustled up some festive attire and joined a group of friends for a night filled with outstanding food and drink from some of the best restaurants in San Diego. The effervescent crowd was dressed to the hilt in summer couture. Crowds mingled while sipping wine and beer and sampling the best that San Diego's restaurants have to offer. Omni San Diego is a spectacular venue, it is one of the premier resorts in the nation with a panoramic and breathtaking view. As twilight settled to darkness I jumped into my pumpkin chariot and did not stay for the movie screening. I was exhausted and filled with gratitude for life's pleasures and great friends.

Went to see a special one night screening of Texas Chain Saw Massacre on 08/18 (iykyk)…read more I am a devote AMC Stubs member and after coming to Regal Mission Marketplace that will not change. This was my first visit to this theater in 13 years, I grew up going to this theater. Bittersweet but happy to see it somewhat modernized since my last visit. I went to this theater because the closest AMC showing this film was Fashion Valley. All was well until after the movie. The lights came on and a post movie bonus played. Everyone but me and nice older gentleman got up to leave. A young cinema worker walked in, came up to me and accused me of FaceTiming and talking to someone on the phone during the whole movie. I was gooped and gagged because from the time the previews start until the theater lights come on my phone is OFF and in my purse. She said a couple had complained to her and been issued a refund because of this...I was so shocked and told this worker, who I'm assuming was a supervisor due to her slightly different regal outfit (ill fitting grayish polo), that I did no such thing. This worker continued to accuse me. I left the theater feeling super weird at this entire situation especially her behavior. This was a truly bizarre end to a mediocre theater going experience. Will not be coming back. AMC forever.

Although this isn't the most up to date auditorium it's quaint and holds a rich history. Many art showcases have been held here throughout the years and it just feels very family centered and down to earth. You'll definitely feel the intimacy of a show or performance when at this theatre. Loved all the shows I saw here.
